    Pets

    Bots:
    They look cool, specialy your big baby Assault bot. They focus on ranged powers, only have 1 melee range (wich will be removed in I7 so far i know). Protector bot can buff bubbles to you and pets, around 5% def per bubble, they buff every pet in the team (6 MM bots in 1 team, insane defence). With lvl32 upgrade protectors get seeker drones (soo useless) and stungrenade (end-heavy) but your assault bot will be a true fighter, specialy with his missile-attack from the lvl32 upgrade. Protector bots can heal the other pets (even bots from a other MM in the team), but they seem to heal only when they want to, realy dont rely on it.

    the 3 battle drones have sumperjump, all pets have s/l and psi resist. Allround a bit mez-resistance, not for knockback. In the primairy set there is also a repair power, long recharge but repairs a bot to full health/end. Due their size, sometimes a bit annoying in cave or small door entrance missions.

    Mercs so far i see are kinda the same, more based on AR/Dev style figthing.
  2. EA/EM i think is a low consuming set with decent defence at low lvl. Else a Inv/ but you have to focus mostly on s/l-based missions. Stone/ has the lowest defence (1 small auto-resist and a s/l-defence armor), so not that good in defence but only takes a little bit of end.

    Patron Pets :)

    i got a feeling, like few epics of CoH, they will have a pretty long recharge before you can cast them again. Then again, if you can keep them alive.. you can easy go around with them.

    Would be funny once a boss guardian could whipe out the whole MM pet set by himself, there goes the balance
  4. Since there's 99% sure a new free respec comming at I7, i gonna do a flip-coin choice tonight for taking group-TP or group-Fly.

    And then just sit around in Hollows whole day helping people moving around the map (i prefer fly, so many 'new heroes' want to fly at low lvl.. i can give them the chance )

    There was a (unofficial) list what powerboost actualy boosted, range wasnt on the list.

    Envenom

    That is the -acc debuff? I slotted it with 2x acc-debuff and use it mostly on boss/lt's. I think they hit my bots a bit lesser.. but realy effect, not realy.

  9. as i said.. my own view.

    Anyway, WS has double aoe damage boosters, giving them far higher damage output. Since PB can heal/selfheal more then WS can do (leech heal?), i saw that as a more friendly set.

    Besides that, you keep your whole team pretty safe.

    WS = damage dealer
    PB = (friendly) healer

    aka scrapper vs defender
  12. I would see the whole inexperienced team go faceplant faster then he would die though.. specialy when she hits the aoe power with several-ticks of after effect, so far i know a +2 can 1 hit a blaster to the ground.

    The easy trick with her, immobilize her and walk back a few feet.. totaly 100% safe.
  13. Sappers i got my earth epic hold for, incase i miss i still got rooted wich give a huge resist to end-draining.
    In party its mostly for AV-tanking, using footstomp, stalgmites and salt crystals (aoe sleep) for crowd control, mudpots for the melee ranged.

    TBH the ideal system would be a database-backed system, with a front end I could just add people in via. I have PHP and mysql hosting on my webspace, but lack the technical nouss to actually code what would be required - my webskills are more along the aesthetic.

    Just before my old hosting company went bankrupt, i had such system pre-beta-running in php/mysql. I think it wont take me that long to rewrite a quick (though ugly) system for you to maintain, finetuning the system by time (and feedback).

    So if you can send me a chuck of your raw-data, i can work out some stuff this week, probably live this weekend.
    (i was thinking of a add-on user-feedback-aproval system, whereby users can submit changes to characters, you validate them and you're done).
  15. Would be a cool idea, though might be a bit 'spammin' style eventualy. 1 day i am hours online and never a pickup, yesterday online for 20 minutes and i get 5 pm's to join parties.

  16. Since ED i only changed my tanker (50 then already) for a few SO's in his slots, still having 6slot stamina, hasten.
    Since i still have 1 free respec and (if) I7 will give out a new free one, i rather use this to finalize my tanker abit then loosing one (free respecs cant stack). Only change i do is a few slots around and swapping punch for that elbow wack (forgot the name).

    I already have TP and fly (with AS), whole earth mastery set (all 4) and sufficient attacks from the /SS side, but i get stuck with handclap. A power that i actualy never use anymore, i want a different power for it. Problem.. i dont know wich power. I cant take any pool powers anymore (Speed, fitness, tp and flight taken), hurl is imho a lousy power due the earth ranged set. Psi-defence armor i took out since i can 'tank' a psi-AV quite ok with rooted/EE/muds running, i'm a perma-GA tanker.
    Left overs are TP foe, group TP/Fly, Superpeed (would be my 3rd travel power). TP foe looks nice, but in the middle of tanking i cant use it anyway. Group TP/Fly can be usefull for taking teams arround in hollows, though might be useless for high-lvl purposes.

    So any ideas?
  17. yes, it can be permalized (new word) but you will _never_ get rid of the 10 seconds penalty. Back in pre-ED, you could even let 2 rage run 20-30seconds (2 times effect) but you will always get the 10 seconds penalty.

    Its in the system, for balancing out Rage vs Buildup in the other secondairy sets. For defence based tankers/brutes it can be a realy dangerous thing, so said 10% defence drop, others even claim 20-25% defence drop. And last, during the 10 seconds also any form of pbaoe taunting is supressed.

  19. If we look at current CoV inhereted.. whatever it was called.. powers, imho those should have been what blaster should have from the start. Like a corrupter 'scourge' power, or a brute increasing damage.

    Blasters blast, blasters do damage, only damage and not but damage. Now to even use it (every other AT can USE the power), we have to risk orange/red colored health bar, while other AT's can totaly use their inhere... whatever power totaly 100% safe.

    I rather would see a Dominator-style for blasters. The more damage output you give, you build a u 'blastirous blasting blapper mode' bar wich, once full, will boost your damage like 100/200% for a 30 seconds or so.

  21. i stick to pet-taunt. Specialy in PvP when someone goes straight to the MM himself, pets can taunt him off the MM. Helps minor in PvE, if you get a bit of agro, your pets can take it away. Serves the purpose, MM pets can be used at meatshield.

    elec/elec gonna be a allrounder, few cases stronger then other AT's, few cases weaker. I think its like a EM/fire stylish, moderate allround resist with peak in energy, possible defence vs ice/fire, resist to poison from a 40% health booster, s/l and (n)energy will go by resist (see epic elec armor blaster), usage of 2-3 armors (s/l/e-resist, fire/ice-def, e/ne-resist).
    Damagewise pbaoe damage, handclap and the 2 big single target blows (like a bonesmasher/TF style), 1 or 2 aoe drain powers (possible 1 like elec discharge and 1 like consume from fire). Only new thing will be that 'aoe teleport' power, maybe as lvl38 attack power. I gues im 90% close to the set.

    Regarding PvE/PvP, end drainers are always a massive pain in the ..., most probably this wont be an exception. High single target and i asume 2-3 armors max it will be good-going one. PvE based also the advantage of end-draining, possible weaker resist makes you have to handle with care.

    Too bad CoH wont get a tanker elec style.
