Im curious, gonna be getting my 3rd 50 soon then im moving to Union to be a bad boy.. none of the villain AT's inspire me so am gonna just roll a MM i think.

Im just wondering what are all the henchmen like? im currenty toying with either bots or mercs but i can decide

Anyone have a break down of all the attributes of all the different types of pets?

Bots:
They look cool, specialy your big baby Assault bot. They focus on ranged powers, only have 1 melee range (wich will be removed in I7 so far i know). Protector bot can buff bubbles to you and pets, around 5% def per bubble, they buff every pet in the team (6 MM bots in 1 team, insane defence). With lvl32 upgrade protectors get seeker drones (soo useless) and stungrenade (end-heavy) but your assault bot will be a true fighter, specialy with his missile-attack from the lvl32 upgrade. Protector bots can heal the other pets (even bots from a other MM in the team), but they seem to heal only when they want to, realy dont rely on it.

the 3 battle drones have sumperjump, all pets have s/l and psi resist. Allround a bit mez-resistance, not for knockback. In the primairy set there is also a repair power, long recharge but repairs a bot to full health/end. Due their size, sometimes a bit annoying in cave or small door entrance missions.

Mercs so far i see are kinda the same, more based on AR/Dev style figthing.

Few errata for Robotics...
- Protector Bots will heal as much as they are able in combat as I often find myself too slow with Aid Other and have a Prot Bot beat me to it
- Seeker Drones are _very_ useful, their main effect is to debuff accuracy. These act as a defensive line for any mob getting too close to your weaker drones
- Robotics do not have resists to smashing, only lethal
- The heavy end use of Prot Bots can be offset with a single End Rdx enhancement in their summon

i totaly dissagree on the healing part, several others already noticed they do a totaly crappy job healing fellow pets. Luckely i'm /poison so i can heal them nonstop, i never rely on the healing of them.

Actually I loved my Necromancy MM in beta, but with them needing to go into melee it can often be dangerous to get in close to assist them.

Robotics were my first love though for the MM AT.

Perhaps waiting till I7 and be one of the first to roll a Thugs MM?
They do sound interesting

My personal opinion is Bots/dark...awesome debuffing(me) and ranged attacks(bots)...sometimes enemies dont know what hit them till its all over! Poor them

Necro/Dark for sutrvival
Robo/Dark for damage

Everything else only for consept.
