I have to say I don't see the point in slotting power thrust for KB and total focus for stun.. Those aspects are quite good enough as is and slots could be of better use elsewhere.. Uless you really want to hit lvl 1 skulls from one end of atlas to the other.. If you want more from those aspects, you have power boost already..

Since Ragdoll, KB has a 'feature' where Knocked Back opponents can be pushed so they can't fire back; it's very useful when fighting in multi-level/garbage filled areas.
Total Focus is often used, by me at least, as a low endurance move, so the extra disorient gives me a chance to grab a blue before hitting back. Power Boost helps both of these out. -
In a maths related follow up, I worked something out.
Given I spend the amoun of time preparing for work and being at work actually writing;
and that I can be bothered.
I would actually be able to write 2 novels a week...
I'm so in the wrong job. -

And Defiance helping to deal potentially 300% (was it? max value..) buffed damage?
Chiefette
[/ QUOTE ]
Know what usually stops Defiance being any good whatsoever? Being Held
So now Controllers do less damage than Blasters? Can't see that's a major problem... -
Right, my turn
Power Thrust is great if slotted for KB, Rag doll really helps to make KB a soft control.
Energy Punch : Hate.
BU:Aim could use a ToHit for added umph.
With running Hasten, you really shouldn't need extra recharges so I'd swap with a 2nd Acc.
Fly could do with an Endrec.
Health 3 slotted is useful for getting back on your feet, but will hurt Defiance. If you're in melee, I'd 3 slot.
Extra Run for SuperSpeed to hit cap.
Nova has been ganked so don't bother with Recharges; better option would be 2 Acc, 3 Dam, 1 KB.
Snipes missing (1 Acc, I Intred, 3 Damage, 1 endrec : Great power with Boost range)
TF add in Disorient Boost.
Sprint should take an Endrec or two.
Shocking Bolt Heal? Assume that's Hold.
Rest of it is fine -

Gratz to Stasis and Coile; think I'm gonna hit 40,000 realistically, but I've had fun and am gonna continue into December.
Now just to prepare for ScreenFrenzy. -
Well, I've already got the idea for my Screen Frenzy.
After the dark horror of "An Angel Lies With Us Now.", I'll be heading into the Suprising Adventures of Sir Digby Chicken Ceaser or something of that ilk.
(WARNING: Link contains bad language, drug references and two vile characters)
-
Anyway, only 6 months til Screen Frenzy
-
Truly shattered and I finally know I won't be able to do it.
I'm heading for 40k and gonna stop there. I've had a full month, a social life, social commitments and a 40 hour week.
I've proved something to myself if not to others -
The safest way to use Clap is to lock onto a mob in the group, jump in, clap, autofollow the mob, and then you have 4+ disorientated mobs, 1 stuck in the scenery, Inv. from the mob you just followed and you can finish off those still conscious.

He was leeching the entire mission. I'd ban him.

I like the way the Gun looks. Gives a real insanity to the MM. Christopher Lee with the Golden Gun for example?
-
7 in the morning and I'm off to work. 24835.Finally got to sleep around 2. Roll on December
-
Can't get you to the chopper though, and you think about the repercussions if 'Rebellion' is ever released and MM's ever become good?
(And does TP Auto Turret spring to mind?) -

I got a scrapper and a tank aroundish 30, when shall we fight?
[/ QUOTE ]
Well, got a 50,42, 28(needs respec though),17,11,10,6,5 Heroes and 11,12,26,31 Villains on Union.
10 Hero on Defiant, and 10/11 Villain.
Should be around late Sunday, but I promised to spend some time with Stase. -
5k a day after work to write. That's 2.5 hours. Gonna be REAL tight.
For music I tend to use Shoutcast, Classical for Background, Nu-Age for Technical, Dark Ambient for Horror.
I'm one of those who really needs music, can't even play CoH without sound. -

how do people manage to get stuck in base anyway, if the opposition are waiting outside whats the big deal, i geenrally go straight past em, after all travel powers are there for a reason, same when leaving the zone, an orange insp can help gainst tp foe or just use rest, everntually they realise it doesnt work and give up.

There's a well known bug in the Villains base in Sirens where you can actually avoid any of the drones and stay within range of the hospital. Locks will appear before you get out and 'flyby' attacks can be launched before you have chance to see them.
To get out, you have to bypass this and reach the helicopter whilst under fire.
A similar, but less effective one exists in the Hero Base where MM pets can swarm the drones, eliminating 4-5, but the 6th gets through and can attack at will as long as they stay in the safe zone. -

Actually, I'd be interested in fighting some Forumites. Any takers?

Speedo's of Doom always ready -
Hrrm, think that might not be a tactic Honey. If you invest in something, you're more likely not to give it up, even if you want to.
But, 20k broken from my point -
Both Tough and Weave are very costly for what they give you. Need 2 endrecs to keep them ticking over permanently. If you need to Cap Defence, they're the way to go though.
Invoke Panic isn't half as good as K.O.Blow, Foot Stomp or Hurl though
Handclap, though much maligned, is a remarkably good soft control power, even more so since ragdoll.
As for Sappers and Carnies:
Carnies cause problems when up close, so leap in, Gauntlet with a power blow, and then try to hold aggro whilst your team mates take them down, backing off at the last minute to avoid the Stamina Scream.
If Soloing them, jump in Taunt, Stomp then hit Dull Pain, take down the lowest levels first to minimse the damage quickly and have a few blues to pop if you need them.
Sappers are a right pain in the backside, but control is again your best option. Flick through the Maltas for the Sapper, leap in quickly and deliver a power attack; pound him hard and he won't get time to Sap you.
As in everything, it's all about control and stopping them hitting you. If Defence fails, use Brains
Combat Jumping is the pits though. Only useful for squishies wanting KB protection. -
Depends, the Cloaked Loner, the Psychotic Man who's actually quite nice, the Jiggly Heroine and the Indestructible man are.
There's enough Demon hunters out there to fill a Phone Book though. And not quite so many Demons.
Now, if it was a Daemoness Hunter that was actually attracted to them, might be a nice twist; but the whole 'I used to be one, now I hunt them' is a trifle overdone. -
I also beg to differ, we were in the Dune map in a 8 man game. Now that's cool. No sandworms though.
-
OK, I've timed it down. I can knock out roughly one word every 2 seconds, with thought breaks. That means I can complete it in 20 hours. It's possible. Just possible.

Though, i have no faith in AR, or Fire, (what Epic do you have?). 10-2 on FFG for the win.

He's AR/Fire! There's nothing Epic about him!

You forgot his Epic "Act like a corpse" skills
