How about we finally... FINALLY wake up the 'Web Forum Admin.' and getting them to raise the Avatar screen-space from 80x80 to at least 100x100 pixels?
[/ QUOTE ]
I would like it if they at least allowed us multiple settings. A new account with the default settings would have no avatars displayed. The user can then go in and set it so they can view avatars at 60x60, 80x80, 100x100, or even up to 120x120. Users would either have to provide avatars for every size I'm guessing, unless we would actually upload avatars and a program would scale it to all desired sizes.
[/ QUOTE ]
This Board software already does such scaling, but with mixed results. Sometimes it distorts an image if it tries to expand a small Pic less than 80x80 in size.
But the opposite would work well. If someone submits a 100x100 and a Forum'er only wanted to see everything 60x60 in size (though /why/ is anyone's guess), it could be scaled down with the aspect-ratio of the image kept intact. -

"occurance" is indeed a word.
[/ QUOTE ]
Indeed. Only that it is properly spelled, "occurrence."
And "downage??" Now you are treading on the fictional-trendy. But then who is counting? As many of us know, The Paragon Times is all the news that's Print to Fit (old joke). -

looks good....although its "mayhem"....perhaps your editor was asleep~
[/ QUOTE ]
The word "fifteeth" also slipped by. And we are not even going to mention, 'occurance.' -

DA makes you use 50x50
[/ QUOTE ]
Yes, well let that be DA's problem. It shouldn't become ours. We don't get 50 million sprite locations, 'My Favorites' or 'Signature' panels to fool with. We only get this ONE little bit of screen-space to show any Av graphics. Everything else is forced to be Page-Linked elsewhere... so I would like to have the room. And since NCSoft doesn't Host any of the actual avatar files themselves... disk-space is also not a concern for them. -
Okay, I have a suggestion as to how to help those who want to contribute some form of 'fan' artwork. How about we finally... wake up the 'Web Forum Admin.' and get them to raise the Avatar screen-space from 80x80 to at least 100x100 pixels? This is the only web-conference I attend where I am forced to size down (or crop) all the av-pics to be that small.
And since we aren't allowed any graphic Signatures in the posts themselves, the Avs are the only AVenue open for us. -

this but it wont fit properly in the Avatar box.

This will get you started. That other one had no discernable front-lighting on it.
I also would have framed closer, but you didn't have a close-up shot available in your screenies. Yet this should work. -

Fly is pretty. It's not fast, it's end killer, but there's something majestic about flying. Soaring about instead of being tethered to the ground. Awesome.

One End Reducer SO in Fly... and End is... NOT a problem here. -
Flight. Like it in-game. Love it in the real-world.

Edit to add - this.

Great. Give them all another easy way to look up the skirt. -

INow, just like the old forums, the first hero you meet in Outbreak if you are a new player, is Kiyotee(Coyote).

One of the finest in-game tributes offered to the passing of a true friend. By that one act... a shining moment of time is frozen. When two seeming unreachable realities are united. -

They're probably gonna re-hide it somewhere more complex.. and change the badge text. Next time, it'll probably include "DON'T TELL ANYONE!"

Plus it will become the only Zone in the entire game where the PrintScreen Key cannot be used. -

I still do that with my Alts... even to this day. -
Sheesh.. I don't have my old .TGA DVD '04 in-game archive disks here. They're still back at my parents' house when I moved out last year. I just use some of the old screenshots I keep up on the 'Bucket for quick reference and such. But there are a number!

I remember people trying to get screenshots oh all the Testmasters in beta.

What do you mean... trying?
Even some of the 'not so publicized' ones... -

You know what I was really hoping to find out in this article?
An explanation of why/how Consiglieres are gravity controllers.

Or why all their Tommy-guns eject the shell-casings backwards... and with the bullets still attached to them. Talk about ultimate mis-fires! -

I'm still writing but for a whole different industry now--high tech stuff for hotels and resorts. It's interesting work and it pays better. More to the point, the company I work for hasn't laid off anyone since they started in 1952.

Well, that leaves out 'Howard Johnson's' and 'Red-roof Inns.' But good to know he's still kicking it! -
I remember Winter Lord.

What... what?? -
Which of course leaves out every Player with characters only on the CoV side. Some of whom would have the killer costumes you were looking for as well. And they can't even join in the fun by making an Alt for CoH, because of their level. Sorry, but I think Pocket-D would have been the better place based on this reason.
