  1. Weirdly ,as interesting a read as it was, I just couldn't get past the fact that this was less like a "socializing" experiement and more like "game creation" experiement.

    I mean...when it comes down to it the rules of PvP were and are still in flux. It s more like if when football was created the "rules" allowed one side to keep kicking fieldgoals so long they kept making it over the goalposts.
    It would have been "legal" but not fun for most teams.
    And the rules would have been changed to remove the practice. Same with this game...if the players aren't having "fun" eventually the rules get changed to match the "social norms"...course we can always find holes in a game like this but still...because its a game social behavior is DIFFERENT from society. People here are for the most part trying to play a game....not actually be a hero or villian.

    Worse his playing didn't even let him score...

    And such playing HAS changed the rules with the Devs slowly changing the safe zones and powers to discourage his tactics.

    On the other hand...if I steal something from her as a villian...does this mean she'll make me a Lt. in Arachnos....ahhh the twisted path to power.

    Heck I would love to be able to create my own walls, floors, ceilings. Making objects passable would add a new element to "hidden rooms"

    Needless to say, we as base builders are overdue updated tools and features.

    I would gladly pay for a stand alone base editor.

    hmmm could work....maybe add in a function like splasher to let you change textures on your end..throw in a special base item or two(Base Architects Design Computer similar to the arachnos stand up comp)...add a dash of badge and a hint of lime and Voila'! Base Builder Booster Pack

    Too Easy?

    I'm up too late and had a weird thought tonight.

    A lot of the suggestions for adding more decorative stuff have pointed out how "easy" it would be to add preexisting items to the base editor...statues columns different plants and other items that we see everywhere in the game....soo I have two questions...has there been a dev post that ever said that it would be difficult to add them(pre- or post pathing removal)...

    and is it possible that they may continually put it off as a project because , especially now with no pathing, it's "too easy" as in they could really do it at any time but because they CAN do it at any time they are waiting till they come up with a good plan for bases before giving us all the candy?

    feel free to call me an idiot...this is the type of post I make when I'm up too late and forget I have stupid ideas.

    heh reading thru the 10 pages I thought it was funny how many of you I've actually teamed with or interacted with over the years but only minorly every time....its like I'm on the periphery of greatness!....I am a minor comic book character!

    It s like I'm Jack of Hearts or something....cept...not as well known..

    But screwily enough I just wanted to say that after about 4yrs and 10 mths of playing this game MY fondest memory is of coming to a screeching halt in Wents one day because I realised a Monkey got her Butt back.

    Quick help

    What about the total empowerment items possible for the base...if you have more than one large workshop you can hit that item limit. Or if you used a lot for decoration.

    the edit mode responses are more likely though...8-)

    exactly how a Tanker should be he should really just concentrate on four words that when I heard them just summed up everything tanking was about....and grats to the first person who used it......
