    Lfg 4 dib, wtf?

What server is it on? I haven't done dib myself, but I recall playing on alt. servers and spending a long time trying to get into a DFB. I also see way more people forming DFB over DIB still. People like what they're used to, I guess :/.

I'm not saying the queue isn't broken, of course. It very well could be.

Which is sad because regardless of how good that game is -and I like DAoC- it's rampant with cheating and unusually vulnerable to cross-teaming for a persistent PvP game. No reason to play a persistent game when your progress and skill are so easily circumvented.
My ex-favorite MMO, S4 League, ran into this problem. It had a huge variety of weapons from the start and was for the most part balanced. Then they added "AP" items, which you bought using real money. They'd add "stats" to the weapons and outfits and the numbers stacked so high you could insta-kill people without any sort of skill.

    Yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss.

Also the ability to throw something other than a rock in Hurl. Make it more like gravity control where you throw random heavy items.

You'd be forced to stop and take them out, otherwise you could never get anywhere.
If no one in the group could fly/super jump that'd be so damn annoying. It's annoying either way, though.
  5. Voted for CoH. Shame it only has 6% of the votes. It's beating DCUO by .5% at least.

I'm fond of where this is going.

The thread made me think of a new interesting character. A "hero" who is very very weak in combat but has exquisite teleportation skills of himself and everything around him. Say he follows you through a mission and is able to pick off enemies for you to fight one on one. Then again a lot of people wouldn't really like that because it'd prevent steam rolling.

Enemies doing it would provide an interesting challenge if they scatter. The boss enemy of the mob could ATT his mob back to him to avoid them getting picked off. Of course this would lead to an either really broken boss or hilariously annoying glitches. Or both.

I probably didn't make jack sense just now. I'm really really tired.
  7. I recall the First Ward arc having Elite Bosses as casual enemies in the mobs for the bird/reptile ladies. I think DA does the wide variation in level scaling too but I haven't gotten far enough to confirm that.
  8. We need the ability to TP escorts.

Paragon City is the heart of the world in CoHverse.
  10. That'd be awesome. Perhaps trials for some enemies that are kind of "forgotten". Wailers for 30-40 trial, "Super Shivans" for 40-50, etc.
  11. Semetic Mythology, I think.

Mot 'Death', son of 'El, according to instructions given by the god Hadad(Ba‘al) to his messengers, lives in a city named hmry ('Mirey'), a pit is his throne, and Filth is the land of her heritage. But Ba‘al warns them:
that you not come near to divine Death,
lest he made you like a lamb in his mouth,
(and) you both be carried away like a kid in the breach of his windpipe.

    Eerie.

  • Staff sort of recycles a few of the previous melee sets to have come out, so I've noticed. My guess melee is the easiest to develop. That or a majority of people play scrappers/brutes/stalkers/tankers.

    I thought of Wolfwood.

You're destroying EBs/AVs... on your Warshade? Interesting. I have the worst time against those types. It's the smaller mobs I completely demolish. If you're having issues with the smaller mobs, do as Stone has suggested and keep them controlled. "Gravimetric Emanation is a ambulance" Dechs says. (And I concur!)
Yeah I must have a reverse WS O_o. He tanks both AVs in Sutter with ease but normal enemies seem to wreck him. And ah, I'll have to play around with some things then.
  • Any idea when we're getting the new powersets for custom critters? Or if we are at all?

Also are we getting the unique maps from WWD anytime? Perhaps when the next volume is released? Some of us like to use AE for its actual purpose, you know.

To keep us around and waiting, I guess.
