I've slotted him, I've respecced him, I've done everything short of getting on my knees and crying at my screen.
My bane spider plays horribly. He's 50, alpha slotted (With musculature or whatever) and doesn't really do much damage or take a lot of damage. Does anyone have a cool bane I can get a good look at? Or does anyone know a good MIDs-made build? -

From the sounds of your post, you already sound pretty in favor of Mercurial blow. I wasn't sure on taking the stun myself.

I haven't played with staff forms enough to know much to judge on stalkers not getting them. I do know stalkers are getting the damage one built in(So I hear, at least). If anything it'll be a very nice damage set for stalkers.

If my Stone tank is already made out of rock, why do I need to stick more rocks to myself to be protected?
If I do want to have one of those effects, I may want to only run one or two of the graphical effects - when a dark or fire armor character turns on all their auras, you can't see any of them clearly, let alone the character underneath.
And, honestly, a lot of the VFX on the old powersets look like crap. Instead of asking them to waste artist time on redoing all the auras, why not have them just add a "No FX" option and let me use Omega or Bio-Plasma, instead of being awash in 8-year-old graphics that don't even look like fire?
I agree with the OP's suggestion 100%. There's no reason to be forced into the graphics on most of the toggles in the elemenntal sets (Icicles from Ice armor being the only one I can think of that should be kept), and several reasons to allow us to turn them off if we want to. -

I approve, but it sounds rather difficult.
I would assume it would do a character aligned to you. Say I won't get my Villain Ill/Time controller helping my hero TW/Energy Aura brute. -

The first few months were very impressive, as they slowly rolled out the year+ of backlogged material. Now that we've exhausted that though...
You can notice a trend in how they handle the market and our feedback to it. No longer walking on egg shells like they did in the very start, now they are trying to see just how far they can push the envelope. The nickel and dime tactics they swore to never use, kind of look preferrable to the macrotrans mindset.
I just hope the 'experiment' doesn't blow up in their face and end up causing a cascade failure of the entire deal. -
