  1. But they said Level 50 Minions were still appearing as White. If he's counted as 50 + 1 shouldn't they be blue?
  2. Yeah, my Energy/Dark Corrupter has Petrifying Gaze 5-slotted with a near-full Lockdown set and also Electric Shackles 4-slotted with Gladiator's Net, and both of these together often fail to do anything to stop Lieutenants, runners or anything else (Although oddly enough it seems like I have managed to Hold bosses for about a second - maybe it's just an animation glitch.) And Fearsome Stare 6-slotted for that matter.

My attacks aren't exactly super-high damage, so having my secondary abilities gutted like this doesn't really help my ability to contribute.

Ironically during a TF/SF, he often ends up not needing these abilities because even large groups of enemies die too quickly for them to be of real use. So it's more than a little irksome to be placed into a situation where they would be more than a little helpful and have them do almost nothing at all. I think if I'm lucky enough to have my Dark Servant use his Petrifying Gaze on the same target as I use my two holds on, I can briefly hold something. I may as well just be blasting away and hoping for knockbacks/knockdowns. It'll briefly disable the targets for about the same amount of time, and damage them too.
  3. I really do wish they hadn't made a separate, [mostly] non-interchangeable reward system with I20 (I don't count breaking down stuff into Shards and then turning Shards into Threads as "interchangeable.") If I have a Shard component in one hand and two Thread components in the other, why can't I just make something with that? Will it destroy the universe?
  4. No no, I mean, start with an enemy group, then from there see a list of what areas (Or levels/instances) they appear in.
  5. Looking over the Paragon Wiki I've noticed that while you can see what enemy groups are in a specific area, by going to a group's page you can't see what areas they appear in.

Is there a list for this somewhere?
  6. I'm also having this problem. In addition I thought the character textures seemed a little slower to load. At first I thought maybe some game (cough Magicka) had messed with my drivers or something and that rebooting would fix the problem.

    Nope.

And then to add injury to insult, shortly after FINALLY getting in the game, my computer hard froze (Didn't even get a BSOD to diagnose it with.) Graphics kind of messed up in a way that is hard to describe, kind of like a bunch of spotted.. diagonally arranged.. things. Couldn't take a screenshot obviously.

Having this happen right after the patch is too much of a coincidence.
  7. At what levels is it feasible to get the auto-accolades? I think I've gotten two of the auto-accolades, but my main is 41 and IIRC some requirements for the others involve doing the Recluse Taskforce (Which requires Level 45..)
  8. After you get a certain number of alts, repeating certain arcs gets boring eventually. But there's still some Goodies you will miss out on if you just power level to 50 in MA or whatever.

So what would you say are the must-haves that you should have every character do? And I don't mean LITERALLY "must-have to advance," just things that save you trouble later/are too useful to pass up, just plain desirable ASAP, etc.

Here's some I can think of offhand:
-Each Safeguard/Mayhem for the badges + Temporary powers
-A Time Travel mission to unlock Ouroboros
    -The Cape Mission
    --The Tailor Missions

Have the unlockable items be able to be bought via merits ( say 10 A-merits or 600 reward merits) for the entire account, but only if it has been checked that you have done the unlock for say.. 3 characters. Maybe even just one.

I'm not sure if the system is able to do that but seems fair enough to give things that most players would have to work for at a price, but enough of a price that some may just want to run the actual content.
...a little extreme, don't you think?
  10. Oh snap. That's both a relief and a disappointment.

    Thanks for the info!
  11. Because in my case the answer seems to be "interminably long" (I should have timed it.) I dread every patch because of the length of time it takes to install. You'd think it was installing the game from scratch. Considering the decent download rates I can get I wouldn't be surprised if it would be faster to download the whole game again! (Okay, that's a stretch, but..)

So is this normal, or do I need to decouple the dilithium matrix? I don't know what method CoX uses compared to say, Steam, but those download/install quickly and painlessly.
  12. Due to the Halloween event this is relevant again (Or more relevant in the short term) due to the Pumpkinhead. As soon as I saw that I thought "Oh, that would make a good starting point for a character... oh wait."

I had this problem before this patch.
  14. For some reason the entire game crashes (Gives me the standard "What were you doing" popup, nothing else) when I try to enter the Architect Mission test. It only happens with one particular mission. Since I have more than a few things in the mission, and believe me I have tried just removing some, finding out the culprit through trial and error would take more patience than I have.

    I said more than two.

Yes, that's the table I was looking at, and Triple and Double IOs are a different beast. What I said was correct for common IOs.
  16. And rather than start a new thread, an unrelated question:

Is there a way to show more than two enemy health/end bars at once? I tried to set it to Always with that popmenu thing by Lost Ninja, but that setting has no effect..

This is what I would have expected them to do, and was afraid maybe they diddo IF I did "x" and/or "y." Seems like the natural thing to do, so I like this idea.

Cost to buy accuracy IOs for 1 slot from level 22 to level 50 waiting until they expire to replace: ~250k but can be more expensive if you combine to make +3s or replace before they expire.

Cost for a crafted level 35 Generic Accuracy if you memorized it: 33k +salvage (Alch Silver, Scientific Theory), if you didn't memorize it: 61k +salvage.

And cheap sets are even more affordable than commons.
I do use IOs when possible, but I wouldn't say they're cheaper (They aren't.. sort of. At least not in the immediate short term.) Between the recipe and crafting cost, they're roughly twice the cost of a +3 SO. And IOs don't surpass +3 SOs until Level 40 (Although I guess you could argue 30 or 35 are "close enough.")

For my main who seems to have enough money to do anything except go hog wild at the black market, the cost isn't too much of an issue. For my lower level characters which don't seem to have inherited anything from Uncle Pennybags though (I don't even remember how my main got all that money), IOs are prohibitively expensive if you factor in the recipe cost.
  18. Contacts mentioning they sell enhancements at heavily inflated prices when you always have open access to much cheaper enhancements at the Quartermasters kind of makes their stores pointless.. unless I'm missing something?
  19. Having recently restarted playing after a 3-year hiatus, everything has been working pretty well (IIRC I think I stopped playing due to computer issues? Can't remember.) Except I seem to have run into one small hitch. The game freezes on me if I press Alt+Shift. It will start to do the tray swapping thing, the animation will freeze halfway along with the rest of the game. I have to alt-tab out and kill the process.

    *EDIT*

Awp, you know what, I think I know what it is. That's the same key combo for switching to an alternate language in Windows XP. I assume the game doesn't like that. I guess I'll have to disable that during the game.
