I really like it star. Your figure drawing is progessing so well, and I'm a huge fan of "hero on the gargoyle" shots.

Um, I feel kinda bad to keep bringing this thread up, but in light of the excellent post just made by Greymist, I guess I am "/advanced critiques welcome"ing this piece.

I don't get it either. But I think BAS was right when he recommended we observer Art Forum etiquite as opposed to simple forum etiquite. Yeah, it's kinda dumb, and more humorous if you were there and what not, but this is most bestest forum I've ever seen in terms of lack of flames. S'what drew me to it in the first place.

Alfred Putermeyer/Bubbamonicus, Father Inferno
Magic Blaster (Fire Blasts, Fire Control, Teleportation, Flight, Transformation)

Nothing ever went right for poor Alfred Putermeyer. His jobs never seemed to pan out, his love life was a surprising mess considering how timid he was, and his car was always broken. On perhaps the worst day of his life, after getting his favorite sandwich with the sprouts still on it, an eviction notice from his landlord, and a call from his cousin saying she would wire him no more money, Alfred was not in the least bit shocked to be abducted by the Circle of Thorns for sacrificial fodder in their next ritual. They had contacted a fiery demon, one whom informed them that it required a host to manifest itself in the real world. Poor Alfred, magically speaking, fit the bill perfectly. He did not expect a rescue, since it was very likely no one would suspect he was missing until his appointment with his social worker a week from Tuesday. He was, somewhat bitterly, resigned to his fate. However, unbeknownst to the intended victim and indeed the Circle themselves, this fiery lord of the pit was the one reformed demon in the vast expanses of Hell. Bubbamonicus, Father of the Fire, had through the intervention of the ghostly being known as the Vitruvian Phantom seen the error of his ways, and sought a way out of Hell, permanently. That would require that his immense power be tethered to a willing physical host. In the midst of the ritual, when Alfred thought all hope was lost, Bubbamonicus whispered promises to Alfred of great power, and a mutual existence, contained in one exceptionally powerful mortal form. Alfred readily agreed. After using their newfound power to thrash the Circle of Thorns mages, Alfred and Bubbamonicus adopted the heronym Father Inferno, and quickly registered with the authorities of Paragon City. Whilst Bubbamonicus guides the pair in their war against those who would drag the wayward demon back to Hell, Alfred simply can’t get enough of being a super hero.

Note: Alfred and Bubbamonicus share a body, which transforms depending which personality is in control.

Bone Wasp
Science Stalker (Claws, Ninjitsu, Flight, Stealth)
The Bone Wasp. A name that sends chills down the spine. Confirmed responsible for over forty political assassinations, and suspected for three hundred more, the Bone Wasp is the best at what he does. The fact that he has shown up in the Rogue Isles can only mean one thing. There's a contract on someone in Paragon City, and unfortunately for the heroes, Bone Wasp always delivers.

Note: In my ideal world, Bone Wasp has venemous stingers that sprout from his wrists, not claws, though he fights similarly with them. Also, he would have wasp-like wings.

Well been a busy week for me, movin' in and new job and all that. But I managed to finish this (as some of you may have noted on my deviant website.) But now, with my internet official, I'll post it here!

I feel so arrogant making this post, but for those waiting on art from me or waiting to request some, I've just moved to a new place and won't have internet there until Friday. So, I won't be posting anything new until then. I will, however be working on things, and hopefully have a whole bunch of good stuff for you patient folks out there.

So, until then, stay cool, art forum junkies! (And those less addicted. You stay cool too.)

Hehehe, it's my dad's main toon from city of heroes, a name constructed with a variety of puns, stuck on a spike/regen scrapper with all his body sliders turned all the way up. Too Poky = cuz he's got spikes, and because my sister told my dad when she was little that his beard was "too pokey." Too Poky Mon = a play on pokemon and Pokey Man, I suppose.

Anyway, thanks for the lovely compliments, and I'd be glad to draw Torchian, though if you check out my other thread titled "A drawring...", I generally do simpler line drawings which I'll ink and color if that's all right. This puppy has taken a lot of time, and things of this nature shall be reserved for gifts, unless somebody really, really wants one.
