This is a piece I've been looking forwards to doing for a little while. When the concept was described to me, I was instantly hooked... not only was it going to be a bit of a challenge to convey the degree of emotion that was to be in the piece, but also, I had yet been asked to do one quite like this... new ground ftw!
I'll be reworking the ax a bit as I have just be asked to customize it a bit more (my god what did I start with my last painting) but it's gonna be damned fun coming up with a look for a demons ax.
