While Poison generally lacks AoE, its debuffs and buffs are hideously powerful. It really shines when you're up against bosses and elite bosses. Paired with Thugs (see Gang War), it's friggin' Godlike. Poison is a truly delicious set.

Quote:I could see this.As a console game offshoot of City of Heroes, yes, provided it had good controls.
As an addition to the current game, not likely. I've heard a couple devs complain about piloting signature characters. Basically, it's not fun because the powers are balanced wrong for being a player - the signature characters are meant to be fought against.
But a well done console could wasily spawn a few sequels. -
Quote:You lose, actually. But it was worthy of your time to post in this thread, I see. I guess that means I win, eh?
Also, allow me to bring to your attention that you are in the minority.
Quote:Indeed I did, and I didn't take Shark Skin until 47. Most of it was teamed, however. I use normal SOs until level 47 since I insist on using level 50 IOs. And since I couldn't frankenslot prior to that, my powers weren't anywhere near as effective as they are now. So I teamed as a support role; keeping people alive and debuffing the enemy. People often commented on just how quickly things went down once I started paying attention to them.
Also, not that it matters, but a random note of trivia: the character in the video is actually female. -

Quote:You're overly fond of that coat aren't you?Well, she also looks nearly identical to another character I have, who I even have artwork of.

Quote:http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Barrac...o_Lord_RecluseRecluse has an interest in Boomtown? Why would he want more piles of rubble when he already has Mercy?
All kidding aside, I'd have thought Reichsman or the Clockwork King would be more likely to stake a claim to Boomtown. Better yet both of them.
Giant Nazi robots vs Giant Clockwork robots now please -
This topic reminds me of that one song by Queen.

Quote:Aren't there already two story arcs where you fight the real Nemesis?
I think, as well as opening up zones for each and every aspect of Rularuu, we should all remember that Nemesis' base is also located in the Shadow Shard, and it should get its own zone. Maybe even a taskforce where you end up going after the real Nemesis once and for all, darnit! What you see from the RWZ arc is just way too little.
Edit: Nevermind, it's three.

Rularuu's a GM, not an AV. That's why he's in that lineup of other GMs.

Failed Inf transfer I take it?

Quote:Ah... the Dark Age of Supernames is to be blamed for that.Is it really any worse than all these 'heroes' I see in Atlas with names like BLOODEATER, with bios that are far more bloodthirsty than anything I've seen on Redside?

Hopefully they revamp Boomtown and do something with Lord Recluse's claim of interest there.

Y'know, who says they actually die? In my experience, the same guys with the same custom names come to my beck and call. And they're always at full health too.

Quote:I see what you did there.i heard the drama club is full of thespians.
On topic: i agree with those who've stated that more than one character having the same first name is a non issue. Despite the fact that in the real world two people never have the same first name. It's a comic book world, try to suspend your disbelief a bit. They don't have the High Overlord of Names to extirpate any who take on similar names like we do in the real world. -

No one mentioned doppelgangers save the fans. All that's been mentioned officially is "a new enemy that will match players blow for blow."
-
Eh, let 'im spin. Kadabra Kill should have thought of this situation before he started smacking villains around with his singularity and his absurd, overpowered collection of powers.

Well here's the thing, one is named Desdemona the Glint whereas the other is simply named Desdemona. Ergo, the problem's solved itself.
