Quote:Well the Mole Machines do tend to only sit there and not do anything. Perhaps if they had Nemesis soldiers popping out or something, then they'd likely deserve an XP reward. The first time I did this mission, back in..issue 8 I think, I was all excited about the big purple tough mole machines..then discovered that they give ZERO xp. I was told, by some team mates, that they used to give a ton of xp, and it was one of the only redside farms...Then of course, because the devs ONLY hate redside farms..it got nerfed....to nothing at all.
So now you have a mission that takes ages, give no rewards, and it just flat out painful. Whenever I get it, I chance my diff to -1, no avs and map it for one..and it still takes far to long. Over-nerfing ftl.
BTW, did they fix the bug that had the Arachnos patrons and their minions set as enemies? Because I'm certain that they were supposed to be set as neutral. -
I have the uncanny ability to remember almost everything. So... no.

I've soloed EBs with Purple Triangles on dominators, still didn't notice the triangles, so pardon me while I play you the world's smallest violin.

Quote:Yeah, in future arcs, I would not mind at all if there were AVs that scale down to EBs. When I'm taking on EBs with or without Purple Triangles of Doom, I don't really notice that much of a difference. Not to mention that there is a definite demographic that likes soloing AVs. These people should be allowed to have their cake and eat it too.Hey guys!
We have been reading peoples feedback regarding the EBs in Dark Astoria. Right now, were planning on leaving them the same. The goal of Dark Astoria was to provide challenging content for solo players and small teams; upgrading these EBs to be AVs that scale down, at this point in development, has the risk of causing a number issues that could hamper this experience, which is something we want to avoid. However, we are taking the feedback into consideration for future arcs, so please continue to give us your opinions about this. Thanks!

So yeah, if in a future arc where you're supposed to fight someone who is very large and in charge, having him as an AV that scales down to EB would feel just right. As I said, some of us barely notice the Purple Triangles. -

Quote:It's because not only are we looking at his crotch, but to fit the crotch in, the image has been squashed. Notice how his left leg is deformed compared to his right leg.I'm actually in agreement about the face. Something looks off about his whole head, I'd say. Maybe it's just the camera angle, but Statesman's face looks older, and the helmet looks less like something Roman-inspired and more like movieverse Magneto's helmet.

I was punching a Knives of Artemis in the face.

I would love to see broadsword proliferated to tankers. It's kind of a no-brainer that they should have it.
-
Except from my standpoint, tankers are fine.

Quote:HA! THERE IT IS! See? I told ya guys.Yes. You are an outlier that doesn't reflect the majority of players who probably still can't solo AVs.
But hey, as long you want the devs to cater to extreme minorities, I know a Tanker player who thinks they have damage issues. He'd like that looked into so they could do things like solo AVs as well as some melee ATs can.

Quote:Until the option exists to run the trial Incarnate path solo, there's no need to give teams more options for the DA path. They already get a whole path to themselves that is faster than the only option open to solo players.
And this isn't even about that DA doesn't allow teaming and locks them out like trials lock out soloists or that DA discourages teaming in some way. It's about complaining DA's content is not satisfying to powerful teams and doesn't cater to them.
Newsflash: DA is too easy for teams because it's not designed for teams. It's not designed for teams because it is intended to be the solo Incarnate tract.
Take the hint.

Like I said earlier, this is the same guy that thinks that tankers are "underpowered."
-
-
Yeah, the lack of the underscore from radio/newspaper missions leads me to suspect that this is a deliberate joke on the Devs' part.

Really, at this point, you might as well be arguing with GG or Venture. They and Butane all come from the same school of circular arguments.

Quote:Well, Johnny is that chucklehead that thinks tankers are somehow "underpowered." So go fig.Far as I can tell, by including AVs as optional (key word: optional, as in not appearing unless we want them to), this strips the solobility of it. Somehow. Maybe it retroactively makes his XP less than my XP. I don't know.
I'm really befuddled as to why anyone would have a problem with optional AVs. -

Scythus would have betrayed Zuhkara and taken charge of the Circle of Thorns ritual to kill all the Mu descendants himself and dramatically progress his ultimate goal of killing everyone on the planet.
