Nemesis Mole Machine issue

The nemesis mole machines in Black Scorpion's mission 'Stop Nemesis Attack!' in Grandville have way too much health for the reward they give. They have no reward for defeating them.

I was on a team of 8, and one mole machine took longer than a typical AV fight, and we had a MM and some debuffs on the mole machine, but it still took forever. Perhaps the health of them could be toned down, since the reward is NOT worth it for the time you take to defeat them, even tho you need to in order to finish the mission.

I wonder if I was the only person who saw this and wondered if something had happened and they were giving out the millions of XP hey used to, especially on a 2xp weekend.

Yes, they do need to be lowered in HP if they aren't to be reward worthy.

The first time I did this mission, back in..issue 8 I think, I was all excited about the big purple tough mole machines..then discovered that they give ZERO xp. I was told, by some team mates, that they used to give a ton of xp, and it was one of the only redside farms...Then of course, because the devs ONLY hate redside farms..it got nerfed....to nothing at all.

So now you have a mission that takes ages, give no rewards, and it just flat out painful. Whenever I get it, I chance my diff to -1, no avs and map it for one..and it still takes far to long. Over-nerfing ftl.

Well the Mole Machines do tend to only sit there and not do anything. Perhaps if they had Nemesis soldiers popping out or something, then they'd likely deserve an XP reward.

BTW, did they fix the bug that had the Arachnos patrons and their minions set as enemies? Because I'm certain that they were supposed to be set as neutral.

I like that idea..have the mole machines spawning ambushes as you fight..with the ambushes AND the damn machine giving some reward. Otherwise you may as well auto one attack and go afk.

That's what I do. I've even done this with a few teammates when we were all on Ventrilo. Kill all the patrols, then everyone takes a different machine and auto-attack while we're tabbed out sharing stupid YouTube videos.





When your players tab out for YouTube videos, you know you're doing it wrong.

Those mole machines are #1 on my list "Things in this game that anger me".

I tend to just set the diff level to -1/1, log in a MM 2nd account. Set the pets to attack the mole machine, set an attack on auto for the mission holder and yeah, hit up Youtube for 10 minutes.

To make matters worse, these aren't no risk/no reward critters, they go kaboom and tend to kill a pet or two or four. If a player character were to melee these things and a patrol comes by after a kaboom, there's a very real case of some risk/no reward.
