*While i agree that two years is a short time it is rather unusual to find others who feel the same way. Especially when discussing videogames.

While this being in the works was mentioned the other week it is hard for words to express how much i welcomed reading this.

If i'm feeling whimsical i hit up AE to roll up some sugar and take advantage of the sugar market.

The redside market can be a bit wonky, but barring a very few set pieces i usually don't have too much difficulty getting the pieces i want for the more popular non-purple sets. For those hard to get items i use SF/TF runs for the merits to buy them outright.

My bookmarks, despite the dozens of folders and sub-folders, are already so crammed with interesting links that it's hard to fit in another group just to... oh wait, a couple folders, like the ones labeled 'Scarry' and 'fiends', are mostly empty of current links. Billz, you can't win on facts, because facts don't support the predetermined answer for some people.
eg. When the person who is discussing the difference picked the answer in advance and is only looking for things that support their imaginings.

Ignoring inconvenient facts? Check.
Reframing the argument when the original assertion was disproven? Check.
Moving the goalposts? Check.

You simply can't win with facts, Billz. Eventually it will just become something along the lines of, "Well on the third Thursday of August at high noon with a full moon and the Scrapper has an unslotted primary and his leg tied to post while a Canadian Mountie is jumping up and down in front of him and the Tanker has three purple melee damage procs in his main attack and an owl feather tucked in his hatband the Tanker will win." And even then if you still demonstrate that it's unworkable you'll just be told, "I just meant that it's almost as much, not more, and 75% is almost as much."

Despite claiming to pursue looking at things differently i see a lot of very common behaviors usually associated with a combination of willful ignorance, obstinate narrowmindedness and inflexible, wishful thinking in certain parties.

Maybe it's because over 90% of what i know i learned because i've alweays been interested in the world around me and how it works, and less than 10% of it came from things taught in mandatory schooling. (Note that some also only learned 10% in school, it's just that they didn't bother learning outside of it.) Seriously, the less someone knows the less likely they are to notice or come up with ideas outside of what is the middle of the road. At best they end up regurgitating things that are already well known to those who looked outside the standard path long before they started, or assert completely false things as truth because they never bothered to find out how things really work.

Still, it does provide popcorn moments, object lessons that help those who can to learn, and a chance to doublecheck things that are already known.

Obviously i don't know for sure, but i expect that emails between characters on the same account will automatically be allowed. The email between friends option will probably be expanded to include global friends.

Any inf sent in an undeliverable email i expect will get refunded. Minus any transaction fees of course.

Besides, Lord Recluse always plans ahead and probably anticipates that Faultline will soon be too renovated and lacking in that burned-out-war-zone* ambiance that Recluse needs to feel comfortable.

Coincidentally enough one of my Scrappers received the proc recipe as a reward roll last night and immediately crafted and slotted it.

Oddly enough i'm in the exact same situation.

*sigh* Yeah, i have no idea how i missed that when reading through the announcement. Maybe the hypothetical quivers will be in 17 as well.

A comment BAB made about the misaligned Sinister shoulder pieces a while back seems to imply that quivers at least might be added as shoulder items.

Still hoping to get tech/magic wings that are pods/nacelles that extend fans of light/energy when in use that just angle and shift in response to movement instead of flapping. But that's just me.

If you're going to do both it makes the most sense to do both at once.

The newly posted Dark Mirror stuff is now a bit more tantalizing, but really not much more informative, though it does confirm a few more things i suspected. It sounds like the Dark Mirror will use tech like the custom AE critters to create an enemy who duplicates your powers. If that includes veteran and booster pack powers, but not inspirations (and i'm guessing those would remain player only), and your "dark mirror" duplicates your every move... Self Destruction->Wakie->laugh maniacally. (Edit: On a team that would pose the possibility of massive collateral damage to teammates. Something i'm actually pretty comfortable with. )

Anyway, the new mail things to alts option is intriguing, but i wonder if (and hope that) there will be a fee for inf transfers and mailing items. i personally think that the game economy could use more ways to remove inf from the system.

Villains need a mirror arc as well IMO.

Anyway, it sounds like there will be a good number of QOL improvements even if it's another update without much in the way new missions/arcs. i expect most of that will be in GR anyway.

The revamp of Posi's TF is long overdue, and i've been saying that the final mission should take place in the Faultline dam map ever since Faultline was revamped.

Overall it will have a lot of stuff i've been wanting for a while. And animated tails was pretty high on that list. i've got a few lizardy and fuzzy beast critters that have been wanting them for over five years.

Then it's probably fair to say that those who read and post here are probably not "most."
Of course it's not usually that difficult to get a teleport to the tailor, but i'm pretty confident i could do it even though i usually went through Kings Row and IP to use the tailor at level one before they opened the Vanguard base to all levels.
