Your example also confused me. I think you meant to say Energy Blast is Smashing and Energy, not Smashing and Lethal. The Force Field Generators would not have had any Ranged Defense back then, but they would have had equal Defense to Smashing and Energy, doubling the Def if it stacked.

Yeah, that's the reason why Force Fields is both Smashing/Lethal in Deflection Shield and Fire/Cold/Energy/Negative in Insulation Shield, and Melee in Deflection Shield and Ranged and AoE in Insulation Shield. Originally it was just the former, but didn't stack with SR's Positional defenses.
Also, that's why the Pool Defenses (like Combat Jumping) are both "All Types" and Melee, Ranged and AoE. There will always be something that stacks with your other armors, if applicable.
The current Dev team may not be perfect, but they listen and respond far better than used to be the case. -

It's frustrating when the game is unavailable when you want to play it and it's worse when it's twice a week and happens rather regualrly. -

Sounds like a bug. Try typing "/screenshotui 1" into the chat box before taking your screenshot; that'll turn the UI on. Also, to stop including the UI in screenshots just type "/screenshotui 0". Or exit the client. Exiting the client also resets screenshots to the default of not showing the UI. -

ANY SG that has a weekly prestige requirement. I call BS on that.
There are still a few SGs that crow about prestige earnings. Which is fine if you like that sort of thing, but as far as i'm concerned prestige is irrelevant as long as you can afford the base that you want. Not that i ever turn off SG mode. By the time it affects inf earnings i'm selling off drops for thousands of times the difference between being in or out of SG mode.

Well Knight keep in mind that since SSK went into effect a lot more teams are padding with whatever they can find. this occurred at about 2PM Eastern time .. so on the West Coast it was only around lunch time.. Not exactly the best time in the world to be trying to fill an 8 man PUG at any level at least not during the "normal" work week. I assumed the leader was just happy to find an 8th team mate. Between that and playing at at least +2 diificult (we were facing 52 and some 53 level Council in the one mission I was on) everyone was making good XP, INF etc.
Now if I'd been trailing along behind never attacking at all and just soaking up XP I could see giving me the boot but like I mentioned the guy was a good herding tank and I KNOW how to play with one. There were times after he got the mob gathered that I was actually the first or second one to dive into the mob and start attacking... In other words I was doing the best I could to contribute. I wasn't jumping in early and ruining the herd but I certainly wasn't standing around watching either.
The ONLY reason this clown had for booting me was the fact that I didn't jump at the chnace to join his SG. And booting me in the heart of Peregrine at level 4 (actually level 6 but I hadn't had time to train yet) just proved he was a total A**.
