Are people still getting this problem? Just checking, as it is still occurring with my game.
I find that if I switch to another character without quitting the game, the previous character's colour settings are applied. Quitting still resets to the original default colours.
I did have 1 character that managed to keep its UI colours everytime I quit or switched, but since deleting my playerslot.txt it no longer does -

Wouldn't it be perfectly viable to set each category as a roll down/up sub-window, with the roll up option being the default position? Could even make the sub-windows scrollable.
Or maybe have an option to hide each category -
I've found the boosters quite handy for nudging defences to softcap thus reducing having to sacrifice other elements of a build. Boosting recharge IOs has also saved on having to purchase a purple set to achieve perma-hasten. I've also found them very useful for boosting the accuracy in some melee powers where I use the Kinetic Combat set + a Crushing Impact Acc/Dam/End IO - boosting the CI IO and the KC Acc/Dam x5. And then there's the little endurance, HP and regen boosts that can help out a character's survivability.
