Returning player, help with Demon/Dark build please
First, I will hit the questions: for a /dark secondary, I definitely want hasten for more tar patch, howling twilight, fearsome stare, and a quicker recharge on Dark Servant. I agree Recall Friend is very useful especially.
My own opinion: I am not sold on fire mastery powers. I would get the black scorpion shield or the chill mastery frozen armor shield for mastermind defense. I would break up six slots of expedient reinforcements to slot the call to arms pet 5% defense bonus. I do like your set IO choices. I am not sold on six slotting maneuvers.

The thing about fire is that a lot of times I see myself iddle (all mobs debuffed/DN up, TP down, pets at full health) and no attacks to use (other than veteran rewards), so I thought that Fire Blast + Fire Ball could help with filling those gaps. I will have a look at the other pools anyway (even if it means going rogue-villain and back to hero)
As I said, there was a moment when I didnt know where to put my slots. I think I still have one slot free. Thats why I 6-sloted Maneuvers
Instead of Fireball/Blast you might want to consider picking up one of your primary's attacks. Not for you to do damage mind you, but for the -res on them. Corruption has 1 less second a duration than Lash and has the same -res of 9.38% AND it's ranged as well.. I believe you can stack it for almost -20% res which on top of a single stack of Tar Patch is -50% res.
I know most people scoff at MM attacks but in this case it might be worth a second look as 9.38% or 18.76% more damage coming from all your pets is much more attractive to me than the damage from a fireball/Blast.
Just looking in Mids, if you picked up hover or CJ, Scorpion shield and lash with 4 kinetic combats you can hit the S/L defense soft cap as well as add more LotG 7.5's. But wait there's more! You can get power boost which will make Howling Twilight a 25 second mag 2 stun (and it's auto-hit!) every 58 seconds... Power Boost would come back in around every 40s. Fearsome Stare's duration would be increased to 30s as well. Not to mention the -ToHit for several powers gets boosted too.
Mace Mastery is the way to go, between Scorpion Shield and Power Boost, and I think you might want to look your primary's attacks again.
Oh, and you might want to consider putting 2 Centriole's in Summon Demons. It will cap resistance and damage with just those 2 enhancements. Capped resistance shields from the Ember Demon is always nice.

Question: How would you slot Maneuvers/Shadowfall/Scorpion Shield?
Also, both you have recomended me some changes on slots on some powers. Mind telling me which enhance to drop for those changes?

I would probably put a Call to Arms +def for pets in there. Slot Summon demons with hami-o's, I think you get from it that way than just slotting a set. I swapped Crack Whip with Lash. Crack Whips debuff lasts only 2s according to mids but Lash lasts 6s. I know it's not an AoE but it also fits melee ST sets for more S/L Def. I personally would have taken combat jumping or hover and slotted more LotG +rech but that doesn't seem to be the way you want to go.
I might go more this route than what you have, it caps S/L Def as well as putting the Soulbound Allegiance change for buildup in Demon Prince:

I have modified my build following some of your advices and personal taste, I ony have to decide now between Vengeance or Afterburner (for another +rech, and faster travelling)

Playing around again this time with purples. Went for S/L Def first with +Rech second. It has soft capped S/L (well... 44.2% which is close enough, especially with power boost up half the time you're pushing 60% S/L which is overkill), with perma-hasten.
Now, it's a more expensive build but I think one day my 30 DS/Dark is going to shoot for something like this.

Finally my MM is level 50, slowly turning him to the red side to unlock Mace Mastery.
In the meantime, I have been dabbling with some alts, and learning more and more about the IO system. I remade my build, trying to get as much defense as I can, along with some recharge bonus.

Any feedback?
I tried to make it as "tankerish" as I could. Between Maneuvers and Shadowfall (and -tohit debuffs - DN, Fluffy, FS and TG), my pets should have great defense (plus resistances from their own buffs), and spamming my debuffs/heals I dont see the need for Provoke, although I may put it in. I'm sure I can find 3 slots for it

I stopped playing just after coV came live. With CoX going F2P I have reactivated my old account, and started levelling a MM (Demon/Dark Miasma) while I try to understand all the changes (Market, IOs, etc)
My MM is almost 50 now, he is slotted with normal IOs, didnt want to bother with sets until now. I have been playing with the Hero Builder, and after 1 hour I came with this

Level 4: Ninja RunI would like some criticism. I have been able to solo some AVs while levelling, I my main objetive is to be able to do that at 50. I dont think I will keep a VIP account so no incarnates for me, I will get the IO license monthly and thats it.
Im not sure about some powers. Is Hasten really needed in a MM? Should I throw it away along with some other powers (Vengeance? Recall friend? I must say that I like having those powers fro grouping, specially RF) and get Tough/Weave? I also have one slot free that I honestly dont know where to spend
Money is not a problem, I have been able to get a good amount of influ without ever trying, and I have a level 50 Fire/fire Tank in case I need farming.
I want to build a powerful character, not necesarily able to farm, but would love to be able to solo +4/x8 with AVs (or at least, as much as I can).
Also, is my understanding that having level 30ish sets usually works better beacause I will get more use from them when I exemplar down. Anyway I plan to have a SO build in case I dont want to pay for the IO license or if I exemplat too low (for Flashbacks, Hollows Trials, low level TFs...whatever). Am I right?
Any explanation on why to change and why is welcome, since I want to learn from my mistakes, not just copy a build
