Quote:Wouldn't it have made sense to then only apply the moral choice to the leader?
No cuz if the rest of the team disagreed, then it would be an excuse for PVP.
I personally think it is a good thing... but maybe it needs to be able to "bank" the mission, and visit it later rather than right now. -
It's great to see so much activity and I was happily surprised to see 2 dots on Defiant, Union and Vigilance last night. I'm not experiencing huge lag but I am rubber banding a bit.
That said, the success of GR needs to be measured in 3-6 months once the shiny has worn off and the content has been played and see if it's really done the job. I hope it will and I believe it will but that doesn't mean Paragon Studios can ignore us. -

I don't know if this helps any but I've noticed that when I use my Quit macro, which should take me to the purchase site for CoH, Firefox blocks the site, and labels it Untrusted Connection.
Looks as though whoever is in charge of web security at NC needs to have a serious look at policy and procedure, because trial accounts being actively told the website they want to spend £/$/e on is... mind boggling. -

Really sad story and proof yet again that NC really doesn't look further than the USA for its customers.
OP I'd suggest trying to get hold of the EU support team: Whatever else NCSoft gets wrong, those guys are flippin' fantastic and if there is a ways to help you they will do it! -

I remember being on the other side of the gulch in the Hollows... I had levelled in the mish so I was 10 - and debt hurt then... so I said to my team "just gonna try and scoot back and level."
I was really pleased how my lowly defender managed to survive the jaunt back to relative safety. I'd almost got to the Eastgate gate and somebody TP'd me back to the next mission. I was gutted and turned the air blue and quit the team.
Ah, nostalgia's not what it used to be -
Quote:They might have been a little bit involved with a small expansion that recently launched. You may have heard of it.See I would have thought that it was already a priority and that they would already be working on it. I mean, they've been asked about it so many times in similar Q&As/interviews, one would have thought that they'd get the hint.
But if it's really something that's only being talked about as a possibility at this point, then yeah maybe we need to convince them that it's something that should be moved up the list.
The power customization system is NOT complete without pool customization.
Very interested to hear about the next booster(s). Not even gonna try to guess what they'll be, I'm not going down that road again.
And the Praetorian GM... Praet Hami maybe? Or Cole himself? -

So we get GR a day early which is, coincidentally, the 33rd anniversary of the death of one of popular music's greatest icons [sic] Elvis Presley.
I'm sensing a conspiracy here. Elvis has Left the Building! -
Ah they'd not installed there so I tried again and they are apparently functioning now - but the Rings don't seem to be doing anything? Should I put them somewhere else?

Quote:Any suggestions as to slotting based on that then?Warning! This is a bug.
The buff to Speed was just supposed to be a 33% increase to the base speed. But they unintentionally made it 50%. Then, when they went to fix that, they accidentally buffed it even further!
Unenhanced Fly is now 9 mph over the flight cap. That is wrong. And Castle acknowledges it's wrong and said so.
Do not rely on the new overbuffed buff to stay like this.
I advise everyone to keep their enhancements exactly the way they've always been doing it until this gets properly fixed. -
Quote:Hi Liz, Hi Kallandra.. Thankyou very much for your PMs.
I would love to meet you all again this year, alas fortune didn't smile on me and I have hospital appointments all over the place and an op scheduled soon on a dodgy knee.
I will make sure I have time set aside to make the 7th anniversary player-meet and I'll do my best to do some more of those player-meet badges if necessary (I'm terrible with names! >.< ).
Have a wonderful time!, take photos!, eat, drink, be merry and raise a glass to Paragon for me!.
See you next year Heroes. .o> ...x
Ps: Did you manage to contact Avatea about this European player-meet?.
Breaking News: Mother's Love is really Freddie Flintoff!!!!
Hope all goes well and sorry youwon't be able to make it Mumsie!!! -
True but the PVP maps would be the same. There'd be no "arena" map - so the effect of a Colosseum woudln't be doable without a huge effort I suspect.
I could be wrong and it's a nice idea in theory but I suspect it's a non-starter -
don't think it's doable cuz the game engine needs the same building - which would look incongruous.
That's one reason the MA building was removed from Croatoa - it looked stupidly out of place and it seems buildings with a specific task must all look the same to function correctly
Also there's plenty of places to PVP already and they aren't used much so it's a waste of resources even if doable. -

It was there when we did the Hidden Hunters expedition this spring

Become an NCSoft shareholder and start slowly taking over!

Quote:BullI'm not saying you should let it go without a fight.
Quote:Yup, sorry Saist, but not with ya on this one. Amen to what the others have said. I, for one, refuse to just let the EU side of things fade away without a fight.
I'm TELLING you this isn't the place.
There isn't anything you can do on the forums to get the attention of the people who MATTER.
The EU players can whine, hiss, cry, roast effigies of the Developers, and so on... but as long as it's here on the CoH forums, nobody in NCSoft Corporate is going to notice.
I am TELLING the EU players WHERE to vent their fustrations. I'm telling them WHERE to send letters that will actually get the attention of the people that MATTER.
trust me, NCSoft will sit up and take notice if they get a flood of hand written or typed out letters arriving in physical envelopes at their actual offices.
You want their attention? You want to change something.
Sending Physical letters to their offices is the best way to get that attention.
If their lead Developer goes to the "powers that be" and says "we have a real thing going on here because a huge chunk of our player base is being left out of the loop and it's giving us a real bad rep on our forums and in our community - in other words, it's costing the corporation money" they will sit up and take notice.
Sadly that's not happening
