I can't say I've really experienced this in game too much but WW can get really crowded.

As to why it happens, it's basically simple, it's all about fear. In game you cannot make eye-contact nor can you actually slap somebody if they come stand between you and your friend, whereas in the real world you most certainly would.

I've never found any of the alleged Raid systems on PCs to be up to much. As FFM mentioned they are too flaky to be reliable. As others have mentioned, 2 drives, one for OS, one for Data and use something like Ghost/Acronis for backup/restore

From a marketing perspective, it would make more sense to give an engine update maybe 6 weeks to 2 months or so after the competition hits. Many people will check out DCUO and CO etc and will be comparing it to CoX. Then a major update comes out for CoX and entices those players back into the fold. If you release it before the competition comes out, you've nothing to tempt them back with if they like the other stuff

What about other titles too, Lord, Baron, Duke, Earl, Sir etc?

They had no choice and, as has already been explained, a longer message would have just taken longer to get signed off and translated to the other 2 languages.

As for people not reading the forums to check for announcement, that's their OWN fault. EVERYONE is told, when they first register their game, to use the forum for the latest updates and announcements. If people don't avail themselves of that resource, that's their own fault; not NC's.

Well of course NCNC do call the shots - they can always decline the revenue offered by advertisers if they feel it is damaging to their own brand, ie CoX.

I think in game ads are pretty good but I'm surprised they haven't gone for smaller businesses, more localisation etc. I also imagine that once the system has been proven it will attract more advertisers

When I asked this question I was told there's really not much of a difference. I went for Ghost Widow simply because I'd encountered her in arcs previously (never much encountered the others at all) and a night widow makes a nice pet.

I did note that the other day, on looking to recruit lowbies I could see lvl 1s in Breakout, which I don't ever recall having been able to see before.

Seems to me it would be good if when searching for members you couldn't see Breakout and Outbreak - friends could still invite but randomers wouldnt be able to

The problem with Elec as a troller/Dom set is that it pretty well negates the Elec blaster AT. The blaster set is based around Holds and -End drain, and it does some of the lowest damage of all blaster power sets as is. If you give elec to a troller then there's almost no reason to play an elec blaster.

Speaking from experience tho it's really tough to sap effectively as a solo. If you're in a duo with another elec blaster (and there's not so many about) or a kin then it becomes very effective.

I have minimal melee attacks much preferring my holds and stand-off ability.
