Quote:That sounds very interesting, post up the results when you do!Eh, probably to much.
2billion on market, like Werner said, or more off market.
I just worked hero tips for the two I have. I don't mind working towards them. I was actually going to save this 2nd one I had for a different toon, but then decided...Spines/Elec...made into an AV soloer...can it be done. I haven't heard of anyone doing it. I should try! -
I didn't get to play very much this weekend but I was able to level my Pistols/MM Blaster Dual Hero to L10. I don't level too many characters to 50, I usually have to fall in love with them before I commit

Quote:I'm actually not sure if there are any pets in the Apex TF that you would have to worry about.Battle Maiden has 64% to hit (as do tip mission Devouring Earth). So you'd need 59% defense to floor her to hit, meaning that 59% is the soft cap for her. I called it the Apex soft cap as a sort of shorthand, I guess.
There's also the pet soft cap at 70%. I assume that's not relevant here, but I've not run Apex. -
It wasn't, the Apex soft cap refers to the raised to hit base of battle maiden. The regular to hit base for npc enemies is .5, battle maiden's is .64 i believe so in order to decrease her to hit chance to .05 you will need to have 60% defense to all positions.
-
If I am looking at this correctly I don't think this build is capable of running MG>SM>SL>SM chain.
-
Quote:Hmm maybe I might have to go with hover and grab the VR Nerve Core boost to reach the soft cap...I'm going to guess "yes", since it interrupts things, but don't know for certain. I've never taken Stealth.
Oh, and I think only half the defense from Stealth suppresses, but that still leaves you with the same problem of being a few percentage points under the Apex soft cap. -
Quote:I love the odds against meTo do that you'd have to kill a level 54 AV, along with unresistable autohit damage patches dealing about 600 damage per second each (I think? I'm always more worried about not getting in than getting a close look at the numbers, but the final patches feel like one tick of ~240 and one tick of 80 every half second or so), and I assume those patches would be centered on you every single time if you'd be alone, stacking multiple times and not letting you into melee for more than a few seconds before you'd have to move away.
Frankly, the Apex softcap should be the least of your concerns here. I don't see any melee AT soloing that TF, with or without insps, until we get a wee bit more powerful with the Incarnate system.
(Might be already possible with the usual ranged suspects, but even then... You have to find 7 level 50 willing to help you start it, including one who's going to keep the character on team. Not an easy task by any means.).

Ugh that totally messes up my build now. I wonder if taunt aura counts as attacking
-
Aww come on that is lame, looks like I'll have to switch to hover?! Barf

Quote:Buff Swift, nerf VandenThis is just dumb. Now that everybody has all the Fitness powers, that means everyone jumps faster than they run. Anyone who wants to move faster just has to jump everywhere and they'll get where they're going more than half again as fast as just running.
Seriously, how does it make sense that the horizontal movement buff of the ostensibly vertical movement passive is four times as strong as the buff from the actual horizontal movement passive? -
Alright I know this sounds crazy but I am making a build to solo the Apex TF without inspirations. If you all can look over my build and see if there is anything that can be changed let me know. Right now I'd really like to focus on lowering my endurance usage while maintaining my recharge bonuses. It is built for 59% defense to all positions while maintaining a 94.25% DDR with double stacked AD slotted with 3 L52+ Membrane Exposures I don't think I will have permanent double stacked though, if I am reading this right I will have a 40 second period where it will not be double stacked which will be scary........

Nice so with my new Hasten-less Incarnate build I will have enough recharge to run MG>SM>SP>SL>SM>SP with the VRAS Spiritual CP. I wish there was a chain that spammed SL more but required around the same recharge.

Quote:Trying to keep this post as the newestFigure out what the 89.9% is BEFORE ED. Add 22% to that. Then apply the appropriate ED calculation:
Code:Before ED After ED E < 70% E 70% ≤ E < 90% 70 + (0.9 × (E - 70)) 90% ≤ E < 100% 88 + (0.7 × (E - 90)) 100% ≤ E 95 + (0.15 × (E - 100))
So your 89.9% I assume is the Hecatomb set, which pre-ED is 92.75%. Add 22% for 114.75%. Apply the ED formula, so 95 + (0.15 * (114.75% - 100)) = 97.2125%. Add 11%, so 108.2125% recharge enhancement. -
I made a few changes to your build. Let me know what you think.

What is the rep timer for the arena? Out of the few hundred defeats I've had I've only gotten 1 drop so far.

With the introduction of the Strike Pack I can't help but notice there is no path or mechanic mentioned that would allow someone to play solo toward their rare and very rare Alpha slot.
Will there be a feature/mechanic/path added in the future to allow the solo player to obtain their T3/4 Alpha slot?
Going a bit further is this the future path the game will be taking i.e. a more team oriented experience?
I understand certain content should not be allowed to be solo'd but certainly there must be more ways than one in order to obtain god like powers. -

PFF is infinitely useful in keeping you alive in times when you'd otherwise be dead.

Helpful is relative and subjective to me a 30% damage debuff is significantly helpful in lowering damage output and increasing survivability.
