  1. Black you can stop posting because I have you on ignore, you've been nothing but rude.

Silit: If I were to drop Tough and pick up Swift or Hurdle, Health, Stamina, and Phase Shift how would I make up for the loss in recharge?

In this build I have four slots to spare and I'm not sure where I could put them to maximize their effectiveness.

    3. get shot at with fire/sound/dark/lolice.
    4. add up the net damage and multiply that by debuffed resistance happening right there. make note that this is a burst attack. now, noting your regen is stopped, calculate how long you will survive.
    5. go find arcanaville's posting history. find the post on "immortality lines" and the spreadsheet she used to calculate brute shield effectiveness.
    6. put your numbers in there.
    7. realize that the regen with tough dies when he gets debuffed, but since the regen with phase can stop a burst, and then manage living off of a net diminished dps (because of the outliers in the dps calculation, created by heavy debuffing are eliminated), it survives.
    8. get wrek by pseudocode noub.
I guess you missed the part where I said I already have phase shift. If I need more etheral shifts I can go craft more. It is pointless to take phase shift as a permanent power when I can keep buying it and crafting multiple ones.

No one is willing to give you 5 or 10 billion because that isn't chump change and it would take some work to acquire that much. Give it a try
  4. Looks like fun, I mean I can't really tell you to not play that because its how you want to play. Personally if I were to want a build like that I'd just roll a Katana/Will Power.

Couldn't be further from the truth, you can start from nothing and make a lot, spend some time reading in the Market section and you'll learn a lot. One person did an experiment to see how quickly they could go from 0 influence to one billion, I forgot how quickly he did it, but it just shows that you don't need much influence to get started.

furthermore it seems as if you've definitely not fought decent a cold, or even know how to fight a therm.
if you don't have phase, you will die against a cold, you will die. you have to be able to remove yourself from the match for the duration of the debuffs.
if you're dealing with a therm, pack your insps, ration your phase.
if you're dealing with a rad, omg packing stun'nades is hard, huh?

do i really need to spell out these things for you?
seriously dude, are you sentry4's alt acct?
Since this is my first serious forray into PvP yes you do need to spell it out. Also I don't play the online e thug game I'm here for help and considering you just I'll thank you but after that if you don't have anything positive to say then stfu otherwise I'll just report you. This isn't PWNZ this is general help.

Edit: And further more you still cannot prove numerically that taking Tough is detrimental in any way to playing in PvP. You have nothing to go off of so why continue to tell me that tough doesn't help? I have a few crafted ethereal shifts so why waste a power pick and slots?
  7. What kind of dps can you do with this build Claws?

I kind of regret having fire ball until we're able to color tint it, it doesn't fit well with my concept.

The point is: If you already can't die, why take more defensive powers? The weakness in a Regen scrapper is in its offense, not its defense. Focus on improving your offensive abilities.
Because when your passive regeneration and recharge are debuffed to hell you have some form of damage mitigation? Regeneration does well with either resistance or defense, and because defense isn't as great a mitigation as it used to be, resistance will help.

    Quote:
The only time the best Regens took Tough was before HOs got nerfed and ED was instated, as you could get 75% resistance to smashing/lethal damage. Since then I have never seen a great Regen who lives by Tough. I don't think I've ever seen even a good Regen who used a parry power either.
PvP wasn't even around back then and Regenerators didn't need Tough or Weave back then because Instant Healing was a toggle and you could solo tank the hamidon with the retarded amounts of passive regeneration you could get.

    Quote:
With DR I'm pretty sure Tough gives you alot less than 30% resistance, too. I could be wrong.
Alone it does not give 30% resistance I was referring to my build that if I were to drop Tough and Resilience, because on its own Resilience sucks, I would lose over 30% resistance to a few damage types.

And you most definitely don't need tough on a regin. Get tactics, or phase like myself and most others. It makes you unbettable. And that's a nice thing. You know...you run into pretty much anyone, and you know they can't bet you. I like the feeling sometimes. In real life people can bet me
Because isn't a logical answer as to why not to take Tough. Numbers speak more then "because." 40% more regeneration isn't going to increase my survivability more then 30% resistance to almost every damage type will. So please enlighten me as to how Health and Stamina are going to increase my survivability?

With Hasten up (less than half a second from perma thanks to animation time), you've got Incinerate down to 2.91 sec recharge, GFS down to 3.27 sec recharge, and Cremate down to 2.33 sec recharge. All of those powers would recharge more than fast enough so you can run that chain easily.
