Depends what you're building for, I usually put 5 Red Fortunes in and maybe a LotG rech in the 6th slot if I need/want it.

Or if you want to save some slots just put 3 membrane HO's

i use it as a sort of set mule for whatever i'm building. in my spines/regen stalker, it was damage and recovery, so i have 5 shield walls, and a lotg +recharge.

The other thing is that I play a whole bunch of toons. When I think about IO'ing all of them, that just sounds like a ridiculously time consuming thing....so I just don't bother lol.
As far as drops, I think I've gotten like 3 total good ones. One I slotted, and 2 I sold, which is why I have like 500 million....probably the most I ever had lol.

If you don't care about set bonuses you can just "frankenslot" (slot IOs from any set to maximize bonuses), and make characters that have high recharge, high damage, low end use and high accuracy. There are many common recipes that are in low demand, and can be had for next to nothing, but will give you far superior performance compared to the same SO build. Five slots of uncommon IOs can be worth seven or eight slots of SOs.
A few hours of PvE play on a level 50 will give you enough influence to buy and craft all the recipes you'd need to frankenslot a character, as long as you don't try to buy all the recipes and salvage in one sitting. Have a little patience, do it over a few sessions and you'll find it not so difficult.

Yeah, I'm aware of how much better IO's are. I see it basically every time I fight someone in PvP. I have to be a significantly better player to beat anybody with a really expensive build.
And I've seen many people claim that the market is so simple, anybody can make billions in days without even trying. And yet, nobody is willing to just give me like 5 or 10 billion. Why not? It must be chump change for you guys.

I just hit it with 2 recharge ios.
I just have a single recharge IO in it at the moment. But, my build is more of an all around build and not specifically PvP. If I were to build just for PvP I would probably go 3 Rech and a LotG Recharge. Or a 4 piece of LotG in it, the End/Rech is dirt cheap most of the time.
(I ran out of slots because I took it at 49 on my current build)

2 Membranes and Lotg 7.5, LotG Def/Rech. Gives you 57/90% def/rech and another 10% regen.
