  1. Like someone else said above, the minimap needs to be a lot more useful in setting up a mission. Show the spawn points on that, let us click one to select it for an objective, and when it's selected X it out or something to show that it's used. Also, have a better layout so we can tell when one section of a map leads directly to two others, like the aforementioned divergent lab maps with two elevator exits on one floor.

There is an option to add: "Villain_Name teleported to safety moments before the final blow!" to the text that generates in chat when he "dies." Also, you could have him say something to that effect. But, yes, the actual VFXs would be a nice option.

I think the biggest thing with this would be the ability to make a boss teleport out at 25% health. This is something done a few times in CoV and it would be very useful for storytelling.

If they can't give us specific points, I wish they would at least make it more clear as to which part of which maps classify as "front" "middle" and "back"

I've specified things to be at the back of the mission, only to have them show up on the second floor of the map, only because the way the elevator linked maps work, the second "floor" is actually the fourth area, and deepest section of the map. (or ... thats my theory of what happened anyway)

I've also specified Ambushes to come from the front, only to have them poof up out of no where right next to me while I'm fighting the boss.

So ... failing the ability to put specific spawn points down on a map, I'd like to at least know what counts as which area on any given map set.

This is exactly my problem. "Middle" seems to mean "back", more consistently than anything else. But not always. It makes no sense.
  4. Yeah, Bots/Traps, definitely. Mine is my strongest character by a noticeable margin. My Zombie/Dark MM is close, but Zombie/Dark does not have a Forcefield Generator with its mez protection, or the AI-freakout-in-a-box of Caltrops. Of course Acid Mortar and Poison Trap rule. I don't use Tripmine or Detonator, and never need them.
  5. You really only see this villainside, but Dr. Aeon is fond of doing this, as are many of the signature heroes. Let us choose for an enemy to teleport rather than collapse upon defeat, or at 25% health.

    Invalid Name

This is ridiculous. They just need to eliminate the filters from the MA. Far too many everyday words are superhero names, far too many everyday words contain a name or "profanity" somewhere in them, and the "profanity" filter itself is full of stuff that is completely innocuous outside of specific contexts.
  7. We really, really, really need to be able to specifically place objectives at a particular spawn location. Really.

I'm trying to create a specific sequence of events, and it is impossible, not because of objective chains or anything like that, but simply because the spawns are never, ever positioned right. Random spawns may be fine in most cases, but I'll wager my eyeteeth that everyone who's used the MA has wanted to make something spawn in a specific place at one time or another. This capability would open up storytelling more than anything one thing that could be added.
  8. Aaand... as awesome as those are, they still ought to be free.

    No more microtransactions.

Either that or get rid of the monthly fee. Both is unacceptable.
  9. So each player (I'm assuming this means account) can only have three uploaded missions/story arcs active at one time?

    Lame.

I have way more than three ideas for great story arcs, and I'll guarantee many others do as well.

I didn't expect any limit on the number of missions you could post, but if there must be one, make it higher.

Hey, lookit that tail. They're fighting a xenomorph.

Somehow, I don't think that girl will do to well without a power loader.
  11. Just a tip; regardless of medium, do not, repeat do not treat hair as individual strands. Hair is always rendered as a single mass or collection of masses, with a few single strands here and there for flavor.
  12. Your improvement is incredible. It looks like your early work and later work are done by different artists, the improvement is so drastic.

In order to fix the anatomy and scaling issues, I would suggest finding the books by Andrew Loomis, especially Drawing the Head and Hands and Figure Drawing for All It's Worth, and Burne Hogarth's books, especially Dynamic Anatomy, Dynamic Figure Drawing and Dynamic Wrinkles and Drapery. These are two of the greatest illustrators of the human figures in the past century and will help you immeasurably.
  13. The law of unintended consequences is going to bite everyone in the [censored] this time around, as almost always happens with fabricated game economies. Players don't do what you intend them to do; they do what gives them the most advantage for their time.

I forsee most things getting noticeably more expensive and the casual (read, vast majority) of players being put in an even worse position financially than they already are. The really desirable rare recipes will become extremely difficult to acquire.
  14. I'm just going to add a comment here, since the questions are pretty much covered by everyone.

Price reductions are good. Converting prices to Influence instead of Prestige is BAD. I can't emphasize how bad it is. Influence for a casual player like myself is already in short supply if I want to outfit my characters with invention sets, and not even expensive sets either, just low level frankenslotting. Forcing us to spend bunches of Inf on even more things is an unneeded strain. Also this will increase the price of salvage across the board, negatively impacting the players who do nothing with base editing (the vast majority).

    Red October!

    WakaBee's Albtraum is stunning.
  16. Depends on what you mean.

The exact Bane Spider Commando, Scout, or Executioner is not a playable character. However one of the paths the Arachnos Soldier Epic Archetype can choose after level 25 (I think) is Bane Spider, which has a wide array of powers that covers most, if not all, of those displayed by all three NPC types.
  17. The question is, are you actually duplicating the map as it exists in City of Villains, or is this simply a "look and feel" type of project?

Either way, it already looks cool.

Where is this hidden dev dungeon?
  20. Cloak and Dagger are getting a surprising number of votes.

I knew Squirrel Girl would show up repeatedly.
  21. How about Asp?

    More.

That's the limit of what I could find on her... obscure enough?

If she's too obscure, I've always liked Cloak and Dagger.
  22. That may just be the best piece Graver's ever done. Stunning is right.
  23. Okay, I never would have sat down to figure all this out on my own, but I've been following this guide, verbatim in some cases, and the difference is very (surprisingly) noticeable. Awesome work, thanks tons.
  24. Maybe I'll start actually using set IOs then.

Still seems like too much bother, but this guide is a fantastic primer.

Here's a request for a section... what about passives? Healing passives, End recovery passives (Regen, Willpower, Fitness), Defense and Resistance passives, etc.

It was sturdy, reliable, and allowed them to pick off targets while still beyond the range of smooth-bored rifles and high-powered recurved bows.

Remember, my friends, Hollywood is not the best place to study history.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Smooth-bore rifle is a contradiction in terms. It's usually called a musket.
