Let us make an enemy Teleport out on defeat

You really only see this villainside, but Dr. Aeon is fond of doing this, as are many of the signature heroes. Let us choose for an enemy to teleport rather than collapse upon defeat, or at 25% health.

... Wow, that would be awesome. I've dropped Aeon in missions where he fell down and said "One to teleport...", but I have seen when he actually had a kind of teleport graphic.

... Now I want to at least have that in a mission text at some point. Even if we don't get the graphic... which I would love.

Anti-Matter also teleports out the first time you meet him, in the Praetorian arcs.

And to quote one of the Dev's from Beta (pohsyb I think it was) "You can't do that. Yet." But they definitely know we want it.

The Widow in the first Faultline arc, as well.

There is an option to add: "Villain_Name teleported to safety moments before the final blow!" to the text that generates in chat when he "dies." Also, you could have him say something to that effect. But, yes, the actual VFXs would be a nice option.

I think the biggest thing with this would be the ability to make a boss teleport out at 25% health. This is something done a few times in CoV and it would be very useful for storytelling.

Yes, but only as long as it doesn't make you fail the mission. It would have to be altered so that the lack of defeat doesn't cause a failure on your part. Presently, having it happen at 0% would merely need a change in choice of animation.

Actually see it several times on heroes. Faultline storyarcs. Arbiter Sands, Captain Costillo (think thats how you spell it) and Nightwidow Noctrine, all teleport out right as you are about to defeat them.

Faultline oh that lovely forgotten zone... Its such a fun zone that I do the story arcs there on every character. Never could figure out why so many people on my server don't even know it exists lol.

Also Anti-matter in Tina Macintyre's story arcs will teleport out the first couple of times you meet him.

But yeah it would be a nice feature, I was planning on using it when I discovered it wasn't an option.

I don't either. It's got some great arcs, especially made for that pre-20 crowd. I know it's a bit more laggy for some with that weird lighting change (I tried to do the MA, there, and then realized the characters in the costume creator became blank grey for me when it got to be "night"), but it's very worth it. Best "make-over" in the game so far (I think I went to the old Faultline once and thought "meh").

soo this cant be done now? Is there some sorta work around for it? cause i have the exact same idea for my arc im doing now.. a mage you end up fighting a couple times in the arc, I used on defeat text.

:mages teleports away at the last moment" for story it works, but it would be cool if i could accually get him to port!

Correct, you can't do it...yet (hopefully we can twist a few devs arms...). And that work around you have already is about as good as it gets at the moment.
