I've got about... 15 or so in my rotation. Along with a few alts that don't get much play.
None of them use a second build. -

Meanwhile, two months into the future...
Can I have your stuff? -
Quote:Other than the fact they're spelled the same, yes, it's coincidence.Well it looks exactly like real Fizz. I don't think thats coincidence.
But since that's how you spell the word, "fizz," that's not really in their control either.
Anyway, did a Google Image search as well for Fizz Cider. Not seeing anything that looks similar (aside from the spelling) to Heister Fizz. -

This.
I'll probably watch the show since it looks like it could be a lot of fun, and I hold Greg Weisman's ability to craft a show in high regards, but... c'mon. Would it have killed them to have Tim and Bart?Bart was practically perfect for cartoons. Oh well. We'll see.
In the meantime, I'm wondering what sort of villains will be put in the mix. -
I'm a Rogue.
Sure, I can do mean things, but I can do things for the good, too. Just how big is your wallet? In the meantime, you do your thing, I'll do mine and we'll get along just fine. -

Quote:I like how you twisted "Work intensive powers means it's unlikely to be made into a full set any time soon" in to "No new sets any time soon."Awesome.... so all we have to look forward to is more proliferation because anything else would mean work. How boring.
Bravo. -
I am so glad I've never signed up for any of those sites. I'm sure those who have may find some sort of enjoyment in it, but I personally like having my privacy intact, thank you very much.
There's just way too much peer pressure in those places to go ahead and divulge all sorts of personal information. That people willingly, gleefully do so is a bit bothersome to me. -
Quote:On this particular point, I wouldn't worry too much. The Paragon City and Rogue Isles maps are the original versions.- Sad to see that the 'rocket launch pads' have been removed from the Paragon City and Rogue Islands maps
The Hollows doesn't even show up on the PC map, nor do the Green Line stops in Skyway or Founders' Falls. Peregrine Island isn't shown as a zone either.
And on the RI map, there aren't any ferry lines going to Grandville. -
Well, one of the biggest hurdles that everyone seems to be going at in this thread is trying to answer the wrong question.
The question is "Could Batman be jailed?"
The question is not "Would Batman be jailed?" Which is a much more difficult and interesting one to answer for all the reasons people have trotted out here.
Could he? Oh hell yeah.
Would he? Probably not. -
Quote:Gotham Central, issue 34: Batman is shot by a Gotham City Police Officer after being caught "interrogating" the Penguin. The Penguin is bloodied and shouting for help. Batman proceeds to strike the officer, breaking her nose, and then steals her sidearm.Just recently come across the second cop I can remember him hitting... and it could be considered justifiable as the cop could arguably be considered out of his gourd. I think however that the statute of limitation would have been passed by now considering that that happened in year 2, the cop was fired, and it's now year 19 or 20.
So that also adds second degree robbery.
GC#34 was released back in late 2005/early 2006 which puts it well into 5 year statute of limitations on felonies in NY (which is technically 10 years for unknown assailants). -
Batman has hit cops in the past.
Using the New York penal code (which is about as close as you'll probably get to Gotham considering it's supposedly in either New York or New Jersey), that counts as a class C felony.
That comes with a 3-7 year sentence in prison. -
Quote:Those would be a soramimi, which is a sort of homophonic translation.I'm not sure "translating" lyrics like that technically counts as a mondegreen, though; I think there's another term for that.

Quote:/em slowclapThey also went ahead and put an up on http://www.wowhead.com/ pretty funny. I mean the site is all about WoW and the entire page is filled up with GR.
Awesomeness, NC. Awesomeness. -
Quote:Well, the thing is... that information WAS out there. And in the shortest way possible: It automatically did it when you exited the game after playing.Actually, I agree with him on that. The forums are to increase an experience. I also don't feel they should be mandatory for absolutely vital information. Anything that must be conveyed to the players (such as things that might inconvenience their ability to log in) should be attainable in as few clicks as possible. I'm talkin' one: Clicking the CoH button.
Of course, this only happens when you access the game in the proper way.
This line of argument is, essentially, the same reason why we have "Do Not Eat" labels on inedible things, "Do Not Use in Bathtub" warnings on hairdryers and all sorts of signage telling people things that they shouldn't need to be told anyway.
Use it properly, it works properly. Don't and it doesn't. Quite simple, IMO. -
Quote:Well, they also might put notices up in the Updat- oh. Wait...They did notify us of the preload. On the 10th. Are you now going to claim that the developers shouldn't expect you to read the forums?

Quote:And then you would've probably had a longer wait since the patch server would've been getting clobbered by everyone patching up with the small patch.I don't know, I think releasing the update when they said they would release it would have been a start.
Quote:That's actually not what I'm complaining about at all. -

I'd go with this ONLY if it was done like the GvE Jetpack: A toggle, but with a built in detoggle timer. Set the timer to be the duration of current Detention Field.
-
Quote:Correct. CoH/CoV/GR all use the exact same client to access the exact same servers.I'm assuming this is for bolth CoH/Cov, along with GR, seeing as it's an expansion!
Mucho grazie!
For note, if you went out right now and found an unopened CoV box and gave it to a friend, they'd be able to install it, use the code and then (after they patched up to being current) would be able to play CoH and CoV. The games merged a while back.
And even if someone never bought GR, they'd still have the GR assets on their computer. It's just that their account isn't flagged to have access to Praetoria and all. Once they do flag their account (by buying GR), they'd be able to play there without having to download anything extra. -
The GR Complete Collection box will come with an installation DVD. You'll probably still need to download a small patch once you install it though, but it'll be far smaller than trying to download the entire client.

Quote:Well, they're technically Damage/Recharge level 20 IOs with procs that you can slot at level 1. And, of course, they stop proc'ing when you hit level 21.They're just level 20 quality damage enhancements with a damage proc. I wouldn't pay $1 for them. I wouldn't actually use the mouse pad either.
As for the BB deal: Sold! $39.99 - $10 - $15 - $6.99? Going Rogue for $8 is nice.
