I hope you play on Freedom, so I can have a go at you.

Well, I made a build. I mostly focused on Damage, then Recharge, HP, and End Recovery for the lack of Stamina in SC and WB. I'm going to have to look for 30-33 Set IO's since I'll be PvP'ing in lower zones alot as well.
I looked at the black market yesterday, and noticed that there are almost no Mako's and other Set's selling in the level 30 to 33 range... It's a rough build but atleast it's something.

You have 92.5 % Global recharge, 162.5% with hasten on. That means your attacks and heals will be recharging very fast.
That's going to be the one thing on your side when dealing with all these Mind Dom's heh, you need ALOT of recharge because MoG will not be helping you out much except for end recovery.
Good luck to you Viral.

Here is a build I made for you. It will probably end up costing you around 3 billion influence.
Enjoy.

=O you posted here too xP
[/ QUOTE ]
Haha yea, well I figured after posting here, the PvP forum would give me better tips. -
Yea, I'm not making this Stalker to scrap it out heh, if I wan't to scrap it out with someone, I'll hop on my "Scrapper" lol.
I think Shadow Meld would be a great addition to the build. Phase + MoG + Shadow Meld should be plenty of escape tools. -
[ QUOTE ]
Stalkers are more about skill then they are IOs, i prefer learning my new stalkers with SOs to make builds designed around how i found my stalker lacking. Just a suggestion, but, if all else fails, ask Ravens, he posts here sometimes, has a real nice EM/Regen.
[/ QUOTE ]
I may have sounded like one of those people who thinks if they have IO'ed out toons they are unstoppable, hehe.. but I'm not.
I used to play a EM/SR stalker way back before I had my long break so I was pretty familiar with the tactics post I13.
You are right about that training with SO's idea. You will find out your limits and know how to assess situations... Then, once you get that toon IO'ed out, it will be the icing on the cake.
Btw, TheGodOfGods, were you referring to the EM/Regen combo as being a failure? or the ideology of a Stalker in the long haul? -
I'm very familiar with the set, I know my limits. It just appeals to me for the most part.
My budget is around 1 to 1.5 Bil. -
[ QUOTE ]
I'd go with damage, followed by recharge with HP when you can work it in. With accolades, you only need around 13% HP increase from IO's to hit the cap.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yea, I thought about going with damage first, then recharge.
Now, I just need to play with Mids, and find the IO Set's that focus on what I need the most.
So, thanks for the advice guys. -
I already picked it. I just need help with what to build on with IO Set's.
Damage first and then HP or Recharge? -
Hello, I'm thinking of making a Energy Melee/Regen stalker for PvP only. I will be Zone PvP'ing in SC, WB, and RV.
I made my BS/Regen scrapper into a monster, so I know the regen set pretty good. However, for a Stalker, I assume you build for damage first, then recharge? or both, I don't know.
I'm probably going to take Speed, Concealment with Phase, Leaping, and probably Assault and Tactics for the extra damage and perception.
I'm guessing I can slot for some endurace set's and mainly focus on damage. Again, I'm new to building stalkers for PvP so please help me out here.
I would appreciate any feedback and some good PvP builds and tips.

I ended up choosing Concealment. It's been working out great so far in RV. I have Phase available for Siren's Call as well. I somehow managed to fit it in there heh.
Now, I just need to focus on getting my Set IO's.
I did have one more question though.
I also play a fair amount of time in WB so I was wondering if I should probably buy lvl 38-41 IO Set's so the bonuses they offer would function in WB as well.
Yesterday, I bought 2 full crushing impact sets for Hack and Disembowel, but they are lvl 50.
I'm not sure if it's worth it to rebuy lvl 38-41 Crushing Impact sets so they would give me those bonuses while PvP'ing in WB. I mean, most of the time I am in RV but I also do play in WB on occasion... it's a tough call heh.
Any feedback is welcome!
~ Roman -
I finally got to level 50 today with my scrapper, it's my first 50 heh.
Anyways, I had a question about PvP. I know how to make my build for the most part but I'm stuck on my fourth power pool.
I have Leaping, Fitness, Speed, and I'm trying to decide on the fourth.
I originally wanted to take Concealment for Phase in RV, and just have FA for accuracy bonuses and perception.
On the other hand, I thought about Leadership. I would take assault for the 10% damage bonus and tactics, along with FA too, to see stalkers probably? I don't think I'd be able to see a stalker with Hide, Stealth, and Stealth IO anyways with tactics and FA but that's why I'm asking the pro's.
Any comments and opinions are welcome!

It is nearly impossible to soft cap defenses without using outside powers like demonic, shadow meld, tier 9, im willing to bet it can be done, but it would be difficult.
[/ QUOTE ]
You would probably end up gimping the build to achieve something like that heh. -
[ QUOTE ]
Well I'd actually go with Regen if you're planning for SO's only =/
[/ QUOTE ]
Yea, I'm assuming that WP does alot better with Set IO's.. ><
Now, I'm stuck again lol. -
Well EM/WP it is. I already have a BS/Regen scrapper so I can try WP.
I'm probably going to roll with SO's only for a while.
Any other comments and insight are welcome!
~ Roman -
Yea, EM appeals to me alot more than spines heh. I know EM is alot worse than it used to be, but you can still get kills with it.
Now, I have to decide on a secondary. I'll either go EM/Regen or EM/WP.
I heard both WP and Regen have similar survivability but I just need to know the perks of both.
I'll mainly PvP in SC, sometimes WB, and rarely in RV or Arena. -
I'm thinking of making a new Stalker for mainly zone PvP in SC, and WB.
My first thoughts were EM/Regen, EM/WP or Spine/Regen, Spine/WP.
I know that Elec Melee is the FotM primary but only EM and Spine really appeal to me.
I just wanted some insight if EM is completely garbage in PvP now.
Any comments and thoughts are appreciated!

(Oh, and MMs are nerfed hard when it comes to defense in PvP. Your 46+ defense will be reduced to 18-20% defense)
[/ QUOTE ]
Ah.. it's late and I totally forgot about DR. Damn... I still have to think about the pool choices.
Do you think a Bot/Traps can still do decent in Zone PvP?
I mean, I'm mainly making this toon for AV's but I PvP with all of my toons. -
I plan on taking Maneuvers and Tactics, along with Stamina, Tp Foe for PvP purposes, and finally CJ, and SJ.
I thought about dropping the teleport pool for hasten, but I think I can function pretty well without hasten heh.
I really enjoy PvP'ing so using Tp Foe to teleport enemy players into my traps sounds like a blast! -
Thanks for the advice Jay, I really appreciate it!
-
Yea, I plan on having CJ with 3 Def Slots, I know it's only 1 more % heh, Maneuvers with 3 Def, FFG with 3 Def, and Protector Bot with 2 Dmg, 1 Acc, 2 Def, 1 End Red.
I should probably be around 33-35% correct? -
Well, I made a Bots/Traps and I want to get as much defense as possible after 22+
That's why I wanted to know how to slot a Protector Bot with just SO's for the moment.
You think 2 Dmg, 2 Acc, and 1 Def, 1 End Red will be good Jay?
