My next project. EM/Regen stalker for Zone PvP.
I'd say both, but I have a thing towards damage xP
How much are you willing to spend? (though I don't really know current value of enhancements b/c I was gone for pretty long.)
Btw, why always /Regen? =o
I'm very familiar with the set, I know my limits. It just appeals to me for the most part.
My budget is around 1 to 1.5 Bil.
Don't go tactics, staminia will save you in the long haul, the slots wasted on slotting for recovery ect are too much of a waste in most cases.
I slotted my regen for +Dam +Acc +Recharge
I am at around 33% damage
Around 1.4 global acc (Can't remember exact number)
and 60ish % recharge.
Stalkers are more about skill then they are IOs, i prefer learning my new stalkers with SOs to make builds designed around how i found my stalker lacking. Just a suggestion, but, if all else fails, ask Ravens, he posts here sometimes, has a real nice EM/Regen.
Stamina is quite overrated if you have the correct sets and accolades. Tactics, I have found, is MUCH more useful to a /Regen Stalker, especially in zones.
.... A Stalker.... in the long haul...?
That Stalker is already a failure.

I may have sounded like one of those people who thinks if they have IO'ed out toons they are unstoppable, hehe.. but I'm not.
I used to play a EM/SR stalker way back before I had my long break so I was pretty familiar with the tactics post I13.
You are right about that training with SO's idea. You will find out your limits and know how to assess situations... Then, once you get that toon IO'ed out, it will be the icing on the cake.
Btw, TheGodOfGods, were you referring to the EM/Regen combo as being a failure? or the ideology of a Stalker in the long haul?
He meant that stalkers aren't supposed to do stuff in the long haul. They're designed to get quick kills and run away.
It's definitely possible to play without stamina even with SO's, but it can get tedious. But with a bunch of +recovery from IO's, I'd say the leadership route is definitely the way to go.

Running Shadow Meld and then MoG gives a */Regen/Ghost stalker ~30 seconds of scrap time doesn't it?

Not really, but sorta, maybe against someone who only uses SO's, has a bad build, and isn't the best pilot of their toon. Otherwise, both MoG and SM, simply make great "escape" tools and "set-up-an-AS" Tools.
Yea, I'm not making this Stalker to scrap it out heh, if I wan't to scrap it out with someone, I'll hop on my "Scrapper" lol.
I think Shadow Meld would be a great addition to the build. Phase + MoG + Shadow Meld should be plenty of escape tools.
Well, I made a build. I mostly focused on Damage, then Recharge, HP, and End Recovery for the lack of Stamina in SC and WB. I'm going to have to look for 30-33 Set IO's since I'll be PvP'ing in lower zones alot as well.
I looked at the black market yesterday, and noticed that there are almost no Mako's and other Set's selling in the level 30 to 33 range... It's a rough build but atleast it's something.

Anyone want to share their opinions on that build?
Needs more dmg bonus, needs tactics w/ perception IO, drop invis/phase, switch to levi mastery for hibernoob, spirit shark, and jaws for a ranged detoggler, put the stealth IO in sprint, slot SS for movement/endrdx however u want, I really wouldn't go without the leaping pool, only 5 doc wounds in recon, get a kismet +acc in there somewhere, 4 makos in barrage is plenty, etc.
Well I didn't really like how you slotted your FH. =/
Probably b/c I don't really care about the base reg rate I'll have out of IH effect.

If you don't get tactics, you'll have a hard time killing Heroes with Stealth+Stealth IO. =/
Hello, I'm thinking of making a Energy Melee/Regen stalker for PvP only. I will be Zone PvP'ing in SC, WB, and RV.
I made my BS/Regen scrapper into a monster, so I know the regen set pretty good. However, for a Stalker, I assume you build for damage first, then recharge? or both, I don't know.
I'm probably going to take Speed, Concealment with Phase, Leaping, and probably Assault and Tactics for the extra damage and perception.
I'm guessing I can slot for some endurace set's and mainly focus on damage. Again, I'm new to building stalkers for PvP so please help me out here.
I would appreciate any feedback and some good PvP builds and tips.
