Great another great thing my money has gone to develop that only less than 1% of the population get to use.
Thanks for nothing.

Anyone who gets this reward has been a loyal COX customer since launch. That may be a small percentage, but its a very important and very loyal percentage. Considering the average MMORPG subscribers sticks around for only a year, four years is phenomenal. And yup I plan on playing for as long as the game is around.
And jeesh it looks like you are going to get the reward, so whats this "nothing" you are going on about? -
blah..I want "prehensile hair" as a in game power. LOL.

What about a more aggressive and random zone environment?
<ul type="square">[*]Random, aggressive , non factional zone spawns: Imagine a spawn of Nemesis or Council ambushing players in the middle a PvP battle. (haha they aren't paying attention get 'em). [*]Weather and terrain should be a factor, just like in real war:
- A heavy fog kicks in, slapping a hefty -acc debuff on all zone occupants.
- Surprise ice storms with -speed and - recharge for the entire zone.
- Quicksand patches, land mines, hidden freeze rays, pop up gun turrets..scattered through the zone, no one has any idea where they would appear.[/list]The environment not only becomes an active PvP participant, but also could be either your ally or your enemy. Since zones already are designed with some of this in place, it isn't that much of stretch.

If anything NPC's need to go
And the random zone weather thing is just ridiculous, I don't want to be in a fight and all of a sudden lose because I just got held or slowed by some random patch outta the sky.
And they need to reduce the timer on reputation - 10 mins seems like forever

What if your losing, and win because of a random act of the environment? -

I have to agree..this service rocks.
I transfered a charachter and was thrilled..at how easy it was...
Keep in mind that other MMO's charge double this to move a character.... -
Great Guide...
but if you really want to see deadly dominator AoE try some Fire/Psi action...much later blooming. But by level 38 with Psi Shockwave you'll be an Aoe monster..and It only gets better. -
= Powerboost does so much more than extend your holds.
It increases the power of your slows (huge for ice), boosts heal and defense based powers. Paired with Vengeance, you just granted the entire team an "elude" type buff. Paired with medicine pool you can completely heal yourself and others.
I would never skip power boost on a dom..absolutely never.
Otherwise a decent guide IMHO. -
wow thanks guys, these suggestions have really got me going..... I'll post a pic of what I come up with.

So I've recently made a spines/regen scrapper "Ripcage" on Victory. And I'm not happy at all with his look: http://img515.imageshack.us/my.php?image=ripcageym4.jpg
His bio is below, does anyone feel like giving him a hero "makeover"... =). Any and all ideas are appreciated.
Bio: Frank Lyons was a shy kid born on the wrong side of the tracks. After Graduation from Kings Row High,Frank enlisted with Longbow. Longbow's psychological and genetic testing indicated he would be perfect for the most dangerous role of all: "Spines Scrapper". The process for becoming a scrapper unlocked Frank's more aggressive tendencies. Finished with LongBow, Frank has come to Paragon, as a freelance hero for hire. -

I have recently got tired of all the binds/toggles. I did a respec, and it was the best thing that I couldve done. Now my lvl 36 WS Human/Dwarf Rocks, when you do the repsec, you dint have to wait til lvl 20 to place slots into the Dwarf slots/powers. You can start sloting right at the begining of the respec. Tho my human is weaker, the Dwarf side is fully maxed out.

Yup thats what I just did, I have to vouch for it. Since I had two vet respecs..and the recently issued freespec. I figured what the heck, and was suprised that I could Slot Dwarf Form, right away. With slots, the dwarf is a very good "Scrank" hybrid. He hardly dies and can handle +2 mobs solo. -
Doesn't Plant have a "slow" effect in Creepers??? Also Knockback??? Or would those be considered primary effects, not sure.

Where I work (not an mmo, but a web service), we just enacted a similar user name policy. Names that have been unpaid and inactive for x number of months are freed up. I think it's totally fair and not unreasonable, no one should be able to hog names indefinitely without paying. There's plenty of advance warning here.
I also feel that making the cut off point, level six is extremely generous of the management here. I am bit confused by those who don't think it is. Honestly, what more could you want then a fair and modest policy, for name changes? -
No Goldfish, I don't think your nuts. I've been noting that I seem to be able to land holds more consistently on AV's when I was the only Dom on a team. I couldn't figure out why, but maybe a few seconds have been dropped up on the PTOD duration....I'll have to start counting now.
-
This is great..it should be listed in the Dom Forums too.
-
Hah..funny you should post this..I was just thinking about making a fire/Ice similar to this one.
-
Jeesh....when I see posts that say "I can barely kill a white con minion with my dominator..." I have to wonder what in the heck those folks are doing or what powerset they chose..... Dom's are really sensitive to powerset choices and slotting. If you want to kill stuff fast go fire/fire....trust me I've seen a high level fire/fire tank and kill stuff faster then any brute (or tank) could ever hope too....
That being said....where the heck is my team buff!!!!!! I want it now...

Thanks so much for this. I created a Necro/Poison MM back in December and played him to 39 1/2.(I know not in a big ru sh to hit 40). He is my favorite MM but everyone naysayed the Necro/Poison combo. I love your guide and am looking at your PvP build and thinking of respecing my MM using that template.
Thanks again, finally a Necro/Poison gude. Woot.
