Main toon is an Nrg/Dark Blaster, also have a serious alt that is a TW/Nrg Aura Brute and both are awesome.
I just made a DP/Kin Corrupter hoping that Scourge would kind of set off the inherent weakness of DP. Just got it to level 10 and I must say that I fully agree with most of the ppl I have seen posting in this forum that DP is simply meh. It's so underpowered and limited and that is such a disappointment.
Unlike many I love the animations and the whole Kurt Wimmer, Ultraviolet, Gun Kata, Gun Fu stuff, it's fraking awesome to watch, albeit obviously unrealistic, but hey this is a game so whatever is possible.
In order to make DP better only a two very minor things need to be done and it will be on par with similar sets and powers.
1. Make it do more damage overall. The rounds just do not inflict enough damage. I went through a mission with several SO's slotted and each power still only did very minimal damage to even low level critters. Even when Scourge kicked in they still were such a let down. So once again the whole set simply needs to have more damage ability overall.
2. Why can't I slot enchantments in the Cryo, Fire and Toxic ammo in the Swap Ammo power? This would allow me to increase the secondary damage - hold durations, DoT from the fire and the debuff from the toxic damage. Just don't make any sense.
If the Devs did this to DP it wouldn't make it over powerful, it would make it average and that would make it the way it should be. I know this is a new set and I hope the future brings some kind of revamp like this becaue I wanted to love DP but it's just so mediocre and weak.

I mean there is a "mastery" set for like everything, why not Guns? -
I would love to see hoodies also. The color options and chest emblems alone make for endless combinations.

Another idea
Blood Seeker Bullets- This becomes a special ammunition toggle that when fired at an enemy moves to every enemy within a Melee cone. + Bleeding DoT, Lethal, Minor Knockback.
Gravity Bullets- You fire special ammunition that when it hits its target reverses gravity and pins the enemy to the ground for a short period or sends them flying up into the air for a short period. -
This could be for both heroes and villains and obviously for any toon using any kind of gun.
Gun Mastery
Imbue Ammo- You imbue your ammunition with extra damage capabilities. +Damage (extreme/lethal/knockback/DoT), Recharge- Moderate
Psychic Accuracy- You use your incredible mastery of guns to guarentee you hit your mark. +To Hit, +Range, Recharge- Moderate
Bend Bullets- Once a target is in the reticle and this power is activated it allows the target to be hit even if the target becomes blocked as long as that target remains alive. Recharge- Long
Stealth Rounds- Allows you to quickly fire six rounds at a target without gaining any aggro from that target or any others in its group. Recharge- Long
Bullet Bombs- Allows you to fire up to six rounds from your gun(s) that explode on impact. +Damage (Extreme/Lethal/DoT) TAoE. Recharge- Long
I was thinking of a self or group heal or +end type of power such as
Healing Rounds- You fire a bullet at an enemy and you gain the same amount of HP or End as you dealt them in damage.
Instead of Bullet Bombs as the last power it could be
Bullet Fire Storm- You fire your gun(s) into the air above a group of enemies and they lock on to each and rain down in a fire storm of hot lead. + Fire DoT, Knockback, Lethal.
What do you think? -
Do either happen to work better with DP than the other. It seems like Scourge could make the guns do more damage

Pros for corr: you get to buff up your team in addition to blasting. scourge
Cons for corr: you get to buff up your team in addition to blasting. Redraw.
Pros for blaster: nobody expects you to buff up your team in addition to blasting. Buildup, boost range, hard hitting melee attacks if needed.
Cons for blaster: you don't get to buff up your team in addition to blasting.
For a serious answer: make both, run them to 20 or so and see which you like the best. The blaster will mature fastest, the corrupter gets better and better after 20 when the real buffs start opening up. To get to 20 quick, run DFB 4 times and Positron TF - this will give you a clear idea of which you have the most fun with. -
Dual Pistols/Kinetics Corruptor or a Dual Pistols/Energy Blaster???
What's ate the pros and cons of both?

This is the first time I am having a hard time coming up with a theme and costume that I really like.
For me the AT and the Pri and Sec usually give me the inspiration for a toons whole theme and look but for some reason I don't like any iteration I have come up with for the dual pistols.
Any ideas on what type of look/theme goes good with DP? I know this is just opinion but maybe one of you will inspire me.

The powers that you must pay for from the market are, in my opinion, much better with cooler animations thn the standard offered sets, which makes sense since you did pay real money for them and thus should get something a bit better for that cost.
My question is- do you think that in the future they devs will polish up the good ol sets that we all love to give them new animations, updates, etc, make them on the same level as the paid ones (StJ, TW, KM, SF etc...) -
Spent most of my CoH career using Blasters and love them to death. Recently starting seriously playing a Street Justice/Energy Aura/Leadership Brute and it is amazing. My question is what are the best/most realistic ways to pull the absolute most HP out of my Brute?
I know I can't expect Tank levels but as much as possible is my goal.

Could a Nightcrawler type of power/ability work? For both combat and short travel purposes?
Would it be better as a travel power or a pri/sex? -
I think it works with Beast Run also, but doesn't look as funny or cool

I am prob not the first to figure third out but-
If you have Titan Weapons and turn on Ninja Run it lets you hold the gigantic weapon with only one hand. When you ninja run in that anime style it looks freaking hilarious but awesome at the same time with a giant weapon trailing behind/to the side of you.
LOL also you can do reverse flips with ninja run if you run forward, jump but then hit backwards at the arc.

My favorite thing is coopertiative play, teams, TF, dfbs, door missions etc.. I solo a little bit but not that much. Everytime I get a new power or ability I test it and learn it with some quick streetsweeping. I just feel like there is so much to each character that I have to pay more attention to it all than actually playing.

Do not take this the wrong way, I love this game, an official addict. I have spent real world money and lots of time but I have a serious gripe that I think can be fixed with help, so here it is-
As my toons get higher in level and they gain more and more powers and attributes etc.. I feel like I have to pay more attention to a crazy amount of menus and trays and pages and info and numbers etc. I feel like having to keep track of all this stuff is taking a front seat to actually playing the game and enjoying it. The lower levels when there was not so much to keep track of for each character seemed to give me more ability to pay attention to the game itself and not all the aspects of my toons.
Is there a way to streamline my toons/playing experience so I can focus on simply enjoying the game and not having the screen full of so much info?
I could easily just make new toons but that would defeat all the time spent in my current ones. -

-- coud you potentially build a character that is fully enhanced in everything, fully slotted in everything with the most powerful stacked enhancements, all possible AT powers from pri and sec, every ancillary possible, incarnate abilties etc...
Basically is it possible to fully max out in every aspect of this game????
Would be pretty rediculous if you could. -
Did not know that it was not that big of a deal. I thought that you could die or go to the hospital from falling too far. Thanks for the info lol. It could come in handy to know at some point, I don't know when butit could!!!

Just purchased Beast Run and Ninja Run from the market and got all the sprint powers and the choice of the ghost slaying axe or sands of mu. Obviously both these travel powers have increased my speed, agility and leaping height/distance quite a bit. I notice that falling or jumping from a certain height will cause me to loose HP if too high, but that is obviously increased with these run powers.
My Question is- Does anyone know what the height limit is with both Beast and Ninja run before you would land and loose HP? -
Would a Scorpion/Balde Trinity Harpoon Dagger type of weapon work?
If you remember the opening scene of Blade Trinity he uses a knife where the blade shoots out from the handle and is tethered to a metal cord. Or maybe something like Scorpion from Mortal Combat. -
Whee can I go to get some single origin enhancements?

Just made a StJ/EA/Leadership Scrapper and leveled it to 15. What should I do power wise, mission wise etc.. What's fun stuff for a scrapper?
Just looking for some non specific general ideas and info from more experienced folk.
