I thought that with the release of the newest trial in the new issue and with all the power gamers and min/maxers (I'll admit I've become one) we have on this server I fully expected to see to see some sort of DD until the cows come home kind of event. Sort of a get twenty Emps in a day kinda thing.
I have a second account (so my brother could try the game and I wanted to try dual boxing myself) and I subscribed it so I can start incarnating my one toon on it. Problem is even with the new DA its still difficult. I try and get on whatever trials i can but not many are run at 6 to 8 west coast time. (friday night and only found the 1 keyes) Yes I can hear it already, "Start a trial yourself". Two responses for that, I've asked numerous times if there was any interest in a BAF or LAM and the globals remain quiet. Also, I dont like leading. Having to explain everything and spam all the different channels and keep track of PM's, whats going on in each channel, and in league speak. It's a bit overwhelming and I applaud our regular's who are putting trials together for being able to do it.
But anyways, does a multi run of DD sound interesting to anyone? I only ran it once but it didnt seem like it took too long. Plus I'm sure if our big name veterans were involved it would be a cake walk. (You know who you are)
But yeah, not explicitly trying to form this up but rather hear what people think about such a thing. I think if the end of the sub starts creeping up and I'm still not T4 across the board I'd push more for this idea. Also excuse whatever typo's or whatnot. Havent gone to bed yet but will in a moment. Be back in about 6 or 7 hours Champions. -
Good thing red side contacts are unique interesting individuals and not civilians in normal attire. Red > Blue.

Mousedroid, This build is def perma dom. I guess true perma dom would require me to have perma hasten but thats off by 3 seconds so yeah. Also, why not build for any defense on your dom? Even if its S/L? This build could be reworked into a S/L soft capped def and it would be sick. I thought about doing it myself but than I stopped when I realized getting another 4 sets of purples isnt fun and which build would I end up favoring. I know on my other dom I built for pure recharge so every mob would be locked down but realized I could fit in enough to soft cap S/L and still have sick recharge. Will require purples but thats besides the point. -
You can now take patron powers earlier. First one starting at 35. No incinerate, fire breathe or combustion cause I am soft capped to Range Defense so I stay far away from enemies. Even using hover to fight from above if need be. Tho usually thats only during trials since anything while solo is locked down. Currently have incinerate in my build since I was going to use it to hole a Hecatomb set but since the Archetype sets came out I now need 1 less purple set.
No terrify cause I dont like cones and between the other mass controls I'm usually fine.
And telekinesis just cause its awesome.From a design point of view anyways. I always fought internally about removing it for rain of fire but i guess I wont have to now. Only other thing I'd want to take is melt armor but its not worth it on a Dom.
Only -11 resistance.

- button will only reduce if its already boosted.
Thinking about it, I'm not sure how to change the level of enhancements. I think it must be set to automatically set them to their highest level. I havent checked if theres a way to turn that off (I'm sure there is), but havent needed to do so myself. -
Weird build choice I'll agree but its not a power that is currently in my build and something I've wanted for concept reasons and just for fun. I was playing around with Mids and finally fit it in but took it very late. As I said, I have sick recharge so I really dont need any more. Hasten is 3 seconds from perma and thats without spiritual alpha to give you an idea. Anyways, I'll post the build, everything is pretty much staying the same, tho I did manage to find a extra slot for RoF. So now its up to 3. I took out the 2 Zephyrs in fly and just put a fly IO. This puts my ranged def at 44.2 but I remembered I run stealth (celerity in swift) to ghost past mobs and that should push me past the soft cap.
Have all the enhancements minus the ragnarok set and my Dom set isnt purpled out cause right now I only have 3 catalyst on my main. So with the 3 slots does 2 boosted Damage IO's plus Ragnarok proc sound good?

I thought about that. Figured If I did went with two damage IO's I would leave them be for a while cause I have a couple other enhancements that could use the boosts first.
Another thing is putting two Ragnaroks isnt an option cause I have the other 5 minus the proc in fireball. -
So I only have two slots for Rain of Fire, and I was wondering if it would be better with 2 Damage IO's or 1 damage and the purple knockdown proc. Is the proc worth it in this power?
I have enough recharge and accuracy from sets and cardiac so Recharge/Acc/End are not needed. -
its nice being able to join trials while in missions. especially when you dont see anything being broadcasted. Was able to join a couple BAF's I would have otherwise never known about.
Havent used it for task/strike forces. Feeling since I'm almost always red side I could Q myself for one and it would never start. -
So I traveled over to Virtue server, and I'll say I've never really seen RP.

But yeah, I went over there to make a toon for next weeks contest. Tho apparently green haired clown automatically makes you an infringement.Got a bunch of tells and half were about how i should go play...another hero game...with a clown. Tho the other half were compliments on the character name. So I guess thats good. But I guess I'll have to consider changing the look up a bit. I'll admit, the purple suite maybe wasnt the smartest choice, but it looked better than all the other colors i tried.
my tells were all in (tell) or ((tell)) too. I'm assuming in RP land that means out of character.
But yeah, I got to level 4, grabbed ninja run, parked myself in pocket D, and got out of there.
p.s It's just before 7 right now, which means they were forming up trials at about 6:30 in the morning.Does that happen on our server? I'm usually never on past 4 cause when I am on that late it always happens to be on a server maint day.

It doesnt add to recovery, it gives a chance to give you some endurance every ten seconds when in a passive.
I also believe it gives you less than the perform shift proc. So there you go. -
When you select what enhancement you want, hover over it and press the + button to enhance it. Press + 5 times to make a 5 times boosted enhancement.

Didnt see anything on the wiki, but is this power permanent? I didnt see any kind of time limit on its in game description but am unaware if anything was said when I received it since I'm not even sure when I received it. Assuming at the conclusion to DA's storyline.
Would be nice to have 9% increase to recovery forever. 9% damage boost is icing on the cake too. -
Yes please. 3 slots would make my toons so much better. Mainly as most of them would than get extra recovery without having to sacrifice something in their current builds.
or if they were broots they would get damage procs. Give us slots even if we have to pay for them. Tho any more than 800 per slot is unacceptable. Even than thats kinda pushing it. But like the extra enhancement trays just seems very nice to have.
but hey, free is always good. Tho with the tech limitations, i feel like overcoming them they would have to charge. -
it gives you extra hit points if you have a power that does that. Like....and paragon wiki is taking me to google.
Like dull pain or an auto with +hit points that some armors or one of them has.
Edit: Wiki's back. Auto's like high pain tolerance. -
True hopeling, I was actually wondering how far of a stretch would it be for them to just include the pet with the inevitable psionic melee. I mean melees can get pets with patron pool and that doesnt seem to cause the world to end. Plus it would make psionic melee unique and different.

As for single target confuse, its useful for AV's. It's on a much smaller recharge than mass confusion. Making an AV smack other AV's or their groupies is fun. -
I want to say its different but now that you bring it up im not 100% sure. I fought her earlier tonight and she was able to mezz me (forget which) so while I was standing there helpless I brought up info on one of her attacks on me and it said -whatever protection.
It did catch me off guard as that character has been perma dom for a long time now and mezzes arent something I usually have to deal with. -
I dont know, granted my Mind/Fire dom is the only control 50 I have, but I dont really like the idea of pets. I guess my Mind control kinda put in that mind frame that I'm plenty powerful without them. I mean, I do have a Grav thats sitting at 32 and I didnt really care for Singularity. Granted conceptually I like the idea behind it more than the other pets (MOAR Control and all) but I can never tell if he's actually doing anything. Where other pets I would prolly see them bashing heads. or drawing aggro i didnt want them to.
Heres a question, what power are you proposing to take away from Mind for this pet? Say the fear and I might back you. lol. Cause I have this weird fascination with Telekinesis.
Heres something, is it Yins pet or herself that causes the -protection to status effects? Cause thats what I want. Other AT's can buff their damage or defense or buffs/debuffs but we cant buff our mag. Not talking about inherents either cause mag 6 and sometimes mag 4 mezzes are just about worthless vs hard targets. I hated that before I used IO's that AV's scaled down to EB and had the purple triangles effectively negated half of my powers and all I had to go off of was assault powers when I'm squishy. I'm waiting for the day we get some form of -protection or preferrably, +Mag from an incarnate slot. Kinda like one slot would for example have trees for various status effects and the one for holds would have one side buffed the mag for your holds while the other side provided a hold for the melees. Such as mag something single target hold at tier 1, greater mag single target hold at tier 2, mag something AOE hold at tier 3, and greater mag AOE hold at tier 4. Dunno what the mag increase on the other side would be as thats something for the number crunchers at paragon to figure out. But back to my point, if its her pet that causes the -protection, and we get the same pet with that ability than yes I want it. -
On my Mind every other group of enemies I turn the whole spawn into my pets.
