My personal favorite is Ion Maiden, a FF/Rad Defender.
Also happens to be the best Golden age costume I've done to date. I regularly get compliments on the name and costume.... (Which is probably the only toon that gets either...) -
-
i wish we could get the current ice armor graphics as an aura. (For ice blasters, etc. on their costume)
-
Will I still be able to build fury fast enough by dropping one of the first 2 attacks?
-
I'm not really great with IO sets at all, and I don't have a bunch of cash... Nor do I know what I'm doing as a Brute.
I'm only slotting up to 32 so far, cause that's what I'm about to hit.
For the msot part, I'm using vanilla IOs, with a few cheap things thrown in for the defense IO bonuses.
Any assistance or suggestions would be appreciated. Or suggestions on what to aim for down the road.

Now to work on the alternate build. -
Which type of recipe roll tends to yield the most influence per ticket? I know, the markets can vary a lot, but I'm just looking for a general rule of thumb. (Oh, and if it varies by level, a level based answer would be good)
-
I'm essentially looking to build a Melee Night Widow... A Scrapper with Leadership, so to speak.
Here's what I've got so far, and this is my first VEAT, so any feedback would be appreciated.
If I'm missing a power, or pushing a power way too late in the build, let me know.

well, it was a success. He had a blast, and has played it 2 more times this morning, and had to tell his mom (who doesn't play COH)all the details about it.
If nothing else, it's a good silly mission for other parents to direct their kids to. -
Devs, thanks a ton for MA.
My son turned 7 today, and absolutely loves COH. Evey friday night he looks forward to running a mission or two with me and my friends.
Well, I made a birthday themed mission for him. (Arc ID 22273)
The mission is nothing Fancy, just the ability to make custom characters for the whole "Super Family" to represent the whole family (as allies to be rescued) is great. He gets to run the mission tonight, and I think it will be the most memorable birthday gift he gets this year. -
My 6yo son and i have been playing COH for about 6 months now, and he really loves it. A lot of the stuff from sister flame, i can see a lot of similarities.
He loves playing w/ my friends, but I know he can be a bt annoying. (Stop to do emotes mid-battle, etc. etc.)
Maybe we need a parent/child only SG, so we would all understand what's going on, and what to expect from the kids. -
I'm very new in the Tanker world, but I looked at some guides to get ideas, and put this together.
A couple of notes: I know that Hover/fly is a sub-optimal combo for moving around on the battlefield, but is essential to the Hero concept. Hover will likely be on at all times while fighting.
I'll figure out slots later.
Any feedback is appreciated.

Hey Adar! I know the people at the Safehouse are still thinking about him.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yes, we are.
In fact, his character is still an officer in our COH SG.
He was a good guy, and will be missed.
I'm glad COH could come up with a small tribute like this for him. -

To those who haven't gotten the idea, already... a crumpet is what we, in the US, call an "english muffin."
[/ QUOTE ]
Actually, they're a bit different. You can find crumpets in the US, if you look hard enough.
[/ QUOTE ]
Thats a good thing, because an Egg Mc Crumpet really sounds weird. Glad there is no overlap there. -
Nightprowl.
One of the best scrappers I've had the pleasure of working with.
The Screenshots of the two of us taking on Infernal + the summonning portal are hilarious. This giant circle of summoned creatures around the portal, all firing at Nightprowl.
We did get the portal and all the minions cleared out, but then had to bring in a couple more people for Infernal himself. -
Thanks a ton for compiling all this information.

Little known Easter eggs:
Putting "Worf" into this registry setting will change the default language to Klingon.
Also, "L33T" will change everything into L33t-5P34k!
(Do not try this at home, boys and girls) -

I became interested in this power set when my Tanker got Unstoppable and started fighting Unstoppable and MoG'd Paragon Protectors. Most player toons are vulnerable to Psionic Damage. What about the baddies? Can a Psychic blaster be a major source of damage in the end game, or do they always fall short of what Blasters can do?
[/ QUOTE ]
We can definately provide some niche damage in those sorts of situations. I've teamed up with a scrapper fighting paragon prtectors several times. MOG fires, and they can't hit it at all. My hit rate was unaffected by MOG, and neither was my damage. In short, once the mob got to 10% health, I finished it off, while the scrapper went on to another target. (Of course, I did some of the first 90% as well...) -

[ QUOTE ]
So in terms of strategy/tactics a bad group says "No, we already have a Kinetics Defender" and a good group adds a 2nd or a thrid. Same with Bubbly Defenders. A group of 3 Kintetic Defends, 1 tank, 3 Blasters/Scrappers and a Controller is probably one of the better groups.
[/ QUOTE ]
Not really. . . the best defense in the game is still just killing everything uber fast and defenders and tanks work against that. Plus, one controller does all the support jobs better than a tank or a defender combined and with pets they do better damage output. So your "best" groups are still one good controller and as many blasters as you can find.
But that is from a min/max stand point for maximum xp/time. You can do quite well with any group mix as long as the players behind the heroes are intelligent and work well together and exactly for the reasons you just gave.
[/ QUOTE ]
If you have ever grouped with one good Kinetics defender, You'd know how much they can increase the whole group's offensive abilities. With 3? That's insane. Really, really insane. You'd be oneshotting minions with brawl. -
It would have been really nice if this guide had been handed to me at level 1. i.e Before Picking up subdue, and wasting 4 slots on Subdue and Mental Blast.
Finaly have enough of my primary needs covered that I can pick up and slot more attacks. Will Domination is great, I can't wait until I get TK blast and P Scream. In 2 man teams with tanks, I'm regularly outdamaging them, especially when we take on COT, with the ghost type creatures. -
Is there any way to modify the logic here:
[ QUOTE ]
w "+forward$$powexec_name hover$$powexec_name fly"
a "+left$$powexec_name hover$$powexec_name fly"
d "+right$$powexec_name hover$$powexec_name fly"
s "+backward$$powexec_name hover$$powexec_name fly"
[/ QUOTE ]
So that it would toggle sprint on/off with the press of a button when you are on the ground? That is, Sprint is active only when you are pressing WAS or D, but deactivates when you let off of them?
