Agree with Stone Daemon on giving the attack minor damage. Look at the Sonic Attack set, Sirens Song, fairy low damage and it is an AoE. I know it has no knockback, just that it is an AoE with little damage. They could easily give it less.

When I try to slot the new Overwhelming Force set, save it and reload the character, the power shows nothing slotted.

Problem has existed since the Valkyrie Pack. It will always go to a mission door. Appears as a random selection of available missions. It has even failed while in a TF, not going to the mission. A specific failure, doing a LRSF, going back to grandville from nerva, the lead got next the mission, it showed in the nav bar, hit the transporter and went to the door I was standing at. It does not fail every time, just often enough to be really annoying. If it works, with the long animation it not that much faster than running it. The whole problem is just sloppy programming and I have no hope they'll actually work this or the multitude of similar problems, I was just pissed at the time. Rant complete.

It fails to go to the selected mission so often I've all but quit using it. I've filed trouble tickets, sent PMs, nothing. Been broke for years. I want them to fix it or give me my money back.

one thing to remember about Mask Presence has 2 def values, one in combat, one out, you'll loose about %7 as soon as you attack. Another point, Mask Presence is only a stealth not an invis if that matters. I took super speed instead of confront for mine, another idea would be to put a stealth I/O in sprint.

I ran my staff/elec brute to 40 with SOs, a few basic IOs, usually end reducers. At 40 no real reason not to slot the Kinetic Combat and Reactive Armour sets, still some SOs and basic IOs thru the mid 40s. By 50 fully slotted with all the sets I was going to use and replaced any SO with a basic IO, like power sink having basic IO recharge.

I agree we need some kind of challenge. The problem really came to light doing the new night ward arc. I ran into one group started on them, got taunted, crap. Start looking for the taunter, then another group, guess it was close enough to aggro on me, get taunted from another group. Staff set does not have a long range attack, so screwed. It got worse, as Smiling_Joe mentioned, about citizens pushing hero, that also applies to enemy npc, got pushed to a cave wall, surrounded by mobs from 2 groups, can't push past them, getting yoyoed by 2 taunters that both are out of range. If it was not for lightning field and eye of the storm, don't know what I would have done, those being the only 2 attacks I could use, both taunters are out of range, finally able defeat enough of the mobs to chase after first one then the other taunter. Rest of the missions I would taunt a group, got to get out of line of sight since the group taunter would not move until, so much for my minus range, rant, another power that does not work as stated. The devs have got their back up when people have questioned the 'real numbers', well here is a case that clearly is broken, and seems like they have blown it off. I want them to fix it, there are a lot things I want them to fix, but, they have no intention to, so oh well.

It was corrected within a few work days, but unfortunately with it being released right before the weekend it was Monday before the patch notes were fixed. -

No fixes the to the combat attributes window. In particular, the status protection contains no listing for taunt and placate. Some character have protection/resistance for these, ie, Night Widow or so says the powers description. This matters with issue 23, since GMs have taunt, and they forgot to mention every thing else including minions do to.

I know a Grav troller can just wormhole a void next to Penny. If you happen to be on a league without a Grav troller and the fight extends, you're probably going to fail. What happened was I had my WS, no grav troller, if anybody had clarion they would not use, so a lot of the league died. It is hard to rez people. If we'd had a dark they're mass rez would have helped. I don't have starless step anymore since I was never using it, I've replace with other powers. I have nebulous form, never use it and was considering replacing it with shadow slip, not sure much I would use it, with the recent events maybe go back to starless step. A single Acc IO is all it needs. That's why I was wondering if anybody had tried using starless step or tp foe on a void.

During the Penny Yin mission, if for whatever reason the fight drags on, Taunt looses its effectiveness on the Voids. Grav control can wormhole them to her. I was wondering if anybody knows if starless step can tp them. I ask because my current build does not have starless step and I hate the idea of doing a respec for such a limited use.

I should point out this is the single largest collective mass observer error in the history of the game. It has been proven to be an illusion in almost every case. People's perceptions are simply not trustworthy in this area, and I say that as one of only two or three players to ever discover any issue with accuracy in general.
Both accuracy and endurance mechanics are sufficiently stable and well understood at this point that it would require either game logs or video evidence to support a claim that either was not working exactly as described. If you have such evidence, I would be happy to review it and bring any problems discovered to the devs attention.
On accuracy and how subjective it is or can seem. When every same level minion in every mission for 40 level takes 10 or more attacks to defeat it, I think that subjectively sucks. At level 40, respeced the character, got tactics and slotted a Kismet. Instant change in how the character played. Instead of running mission 0/1 just for the mission bonus, did everything +4/8. The character is very survivable, just could not kill anything. -

It should have burned about 6.864, and for some odd reason it burned 7.0044. But that shouldn't have been enough to make the set seem to be end-hungry, and ever since they buffed Storm Kick to have an additional 5% critical rate that's also no longer a real issue.

Having the same issue with my tri-form WS. I have enough salvage to build a T4, but only one. A lot of the trials don't have a lot of eclipse food, so Melee looks nice and a regen bonus. But, how is more damage ever not wanted. So I dither.
