Ok, I don't know if anyone remembers the old mandible options for half helmets that we had. Not the last skull version that seems to have vanished off of the face of CoX. I'm talking about the old mandible option we had a few years ago when I first started playing the game before the skull jaw version.
I would totally pay to have them both back. They were unique costume parts and I was sad to see them go. Here are a few pics of the old mandible that I used on my controller to make his half helm look like a full one:
My suggestion is to bring these options back on the market for a price. I know they were part of the original game for free, but they've since been removed for whatever reason and if it takes some cash to get them back I'm 100% willing to fork it over for both of my accounts.
So what do you think, signed or unsigned people? And if it did come back would you buy it? it would most likely be pretty cheap seeing the other prices of single costume parts and I could see a lot of tech costume lover making great use out of these. And the skull version is great for darker toons (if anyone has pictures of the skull mandible option please feel free to post a pic up). -
So that is why when I teleported to Galaxy City to see what happens I was teleported Galaxy then to Atlas Park...
-
Umm, what happened to the servers? Did they start early?
-
That is some damn good timing. I get off of work at 4:30.
Now lets see if its only 12 hours. I wont be surprised if it goes over the scheduled time. -
But you get a parrot...

Quote:With the new 4th tier for the travel powers they may think twice before skipping them now.It will sell like hotcakes, I'm sure. Who wouldn't want a travel power that is better than flight at 4th level, that won't suck up one or two power slots?
Not to mention the huge detoggling factor. Beast and ninja run are superior to the hover board as travel powers in every way if you ask me. -
I didnt buy it. Not worth it IMO.
I'm waiting for the hover bike. Something like this:
Or maybe a chopper version. Think Lobo. Those would be worth the $$ and then some. -
I spent 50 bucks and got just about everything I wanted.
I did not buy the hover board... -
Quote:Usually good business moves are jerky ideas. From a business stand point its a great idea. People see the new shiny and actually have a chance to get it right now, unlike the old system.Except there is no other way to get these pieces.
I find that unacceptable. Especially when those are the ONLY energy wings in the entire damn game.
Some people may not give two hoots about costumes and the like. There are those of us that do. And to have such parts locked behind the very last, top tier of the rewards program is objectionable and a jerk move. It was when they first announced it, and it still is now.
Think about how many people, just yesterday, bought 10's of thousands of points just to get tier 9. In the long run this was a good idea for the games longevity. The more cool stuff they keep throwing in those slots the more people are going to throw money at them trying to get to that VIP status. Even if its just 15 per month for 1 extra token to help them get to VIP that much faster. If they put it up for sale people wont dish out the cash to get to VIP as fast.
Its a good move for the game any way you look at it. You can moan and complain about it until your teeth fall out and it probably wont matter. This whole award system was to improve the game and make it thrive, not to complete peoples wardrobes. -

For some reason Exalted popped up right above the line where I can see it now. Now justice is at the bottom.

Quote:^ Read aboveHrm...my roommate found a potential bug. On the server list, if Exalted is at the bottom of the list, the scroll bar will not stay in place to allow you to select it. If Exalted is not at the top of your list, do not select another server, you may not be able to get it back to a place where it is selectable.

Ok, so I have everything downloaded and ready to go and I know the servers are still offline to us but I can't even click on the VIP server. Its all the way at the bottom and every time I try to scroll down to click on it the list springs back to the top and I can't access it.
Anyone else having this problem? -
Mine is currently at 98% and I started about a hour or so ago. You can actually download the patch now before the servers open.
-
Can you at least do radio missions in it, or is it just like... there?
I was also wondering if it was a instance or a actual zone? -
You know, speaking of remakes, I'd really like to see a tram station added in Fault. Due to its secluided location a lot of new players will miss out on a fun zone. I know people have mixed feeling about the place, but I personally love it. A tram will give the zone some much needed attention.
-
Not really. It's like a run down version of the current Atlas Park. Pretty much the opposite of what they just did.
-
Quote:Its been preserved:Galaxy City will still be available via Ouroboros, but it won't have any mission content there - so it won't be gone completely, unlike the current Atlas Park

And to answer the question, yes I will miss Galaxy. It's where I currently run my tip missions. Its small so I don't have to run around much and has none of the atlas farm chatter. -
This is the cheapest effective build I could throw together with IO's. I don't think it's under 100 mil but its pretty cheap. It has a layer of defense and all of the basics covered. You can skip slotting TP since those 2 IO's alone run about 30 mil or so.
I don't know if you plan on farming or just running regular content, but this build will get the job done in both areas at a low low price.

Ok, so I have 2 9800gtx+ cards in sli on my computer at the moment. When I was messing around in the nvidia panel I saw it had something like "dedicate this card as physx blah blah".
Now my first question is this: Can I use my old 8800 card as the PhysX card or does it have to be the same card like sli requires?
The second question is if it PhysX makes any difference at all? Is it worth the time digging out the old card if it does work?
