Wrong. If you say that, then i can say 90% o the playerbase has already left because there is CURRENTLY a maximum setting that some of you people out there wo't be able to run.

The update i am suggesting won't raise the minimum requirements for gfx, just the maximum.

That way everyone can still enjoy the game. The people with £1.99 computers can still play with the bare minimum, and I can still play at the absolute max. Except that 'max' will be extended for my enjoyment.

Every now and then, I'd like to see some bigwig game designer for CoX come on the forums and say

"Hey guys we're thinking of nerfing X or doing Y or changing Z what do you think"?

I think being direct with players is a great way to improve a game in the ways everyone will love.

Colour customisation doesn't impress me. I want new sets and zones! New character models (I.e why do we all have to have 2 arms and 2 legs, why not a body like the snakes have?)

And new cossie parts.

BUUT, I really don't care how bad your pc is. I don't care if 90% of the players are using dinosaurs that can barely render 3D graphics.

The graphics sliders exist for a reason. So people with £2000 computers like me can slide it WAAAAY to the right, and people with £1.99 computers like most of the CoX playerbase can slide it WAAAAY to the left.

I don't care if anyone thinks i'm being selfish, I think it is a reasonable request that the game designers command the art department to work like dogs until there is NEW higher res, and MOAR detailed textures, for every surface and mesh in the game.

That way, people like me can turn the GFX slider even MOAR to the right, and people with £1.99 computers can leave it at the far left.

And no one's game enjoyment is affected negatively =)

And no increased graphics would not cause server lag for anyone, because it's YOUR personal computer that renders the graphics, and therefore your GPU that has to do the work (just incase there was the slim chance someone doesn't know how graphics work)

Does that clear the issue up for you? That way i can enjoy the game more, and you can still manage to run it. (albeit barely)

I16 is about 0/100 atm, absolutely nothing in is impresses me so far besides the new sound effects, which makes it 1/100

Brilliant idea, just like the warehouse system in Lineage 2. It will add a new level of depth, and character development to everyone's toons, AND allow people to avoid having their stuff stolen by having to rely on strangers.

I don't know. But i think the devs are hiding the full capabilities of the game engine so that we don't start requesting crazy game features xD

Maybe the hero just prefers to deal people in a moe permanent way than arresting them? Take jedi from star wars for example, they kill every bad guy/sith they ever encounter.

Seen the watchmen? See how Rorschach kicks butt?

It all comes down to the end result, not the method.

A hero's job is to save paragon city in this case, or kidnap victims and blah blah. If he has to slaughter over 9000 arachnos soldiers to get the job done, so what?

Results are what count, not ethics or the method.

Seen Ironman? he's another example. Just because you're helping society instead of trying to conquer it, doesn't mean you have to treat people nicely and be a good guy.

Seen The Punisher? He's another example. Good guys do the exact same stuff bad guys do, same means, different ends.

Solid builds in both cases, but i'm sure you could squeeze a lot more damage out of either of them. As stalkers i'm sure they moare than fit the bill by looking at them x)

Well if you ever happen to publish your warshade build i would love to see it. I have a broken lvl 50 warshade and it could really do with some help. It's squishy as anything and can hardly solo. I really messed it up trying to achieve a good triform performance.

What i'm after is an awesome tank when in lobster form, and beasty damage when i'm in worm form x)

And if you happen to tweak and improve your widow build, i'd also like to thieve it if at all possible, xD

While true, there's no reaosn games HAVE to have completely fictional elements. The benefit to using gammma rays in powers, is people who DO understand the physics could easily relate to how awesome the set would be.

Hell, we could have gamma penetration as a corruptor set, and alpha as a melee set xD

ANYWAYS, regarding power customisation, someone tell me that we can change the animations on powers. I know people have been talking about integration, but i'd like to see that god damn horrific *up up and away* animation on WP's strength of will GO AWAY!!!

Don't conflate being a champion with being a heroic good guy. There is such thing as an evil champion. Champions by definition are victors, people who win or succeed. Nothing says they have to be good to do that.

Yes, iron man, spawn, those kind of heroes. But i want villainous champions. Champions don't have to be heroes by definition.

PRAF is right. Gamma is the most penetrating, but alpha and beta are more ionising.

If you happen to ingest alpha though...say through an open wound, the brute with these kind of powers could do some damage.
