This well respected site, gives a list of maps and locations for everything you'll ever need in CoH/CoV.

I don't think I'm going to bother with stamina tbh.. playing thru 32 levels with my MM, I don't seem to need it as much during the fights as the 'bots do the hard work for me.

I can think of better places where that "new power" can be used.

Aye.. my SG here is currently holding off on a base for now, so as to raise the amount we need to create/maintain and afford a base useful enough, rather than making one and finding we can't afford to maintain it.

If anything was to be built it wud be to help the lowbies move about better (ie TP room) or at most somewhere to meet up safely.

I think it comes down to the fact its like seeing a guy/girl having the best new toy around.. everyone wants it "yesterday", instead of waiting for costs to come down.

Indeed.. I tried Hot Chills vs level 52 Nemesis last night helping a friend out on her mission ... O.o all I saw was MY DEFENSE drop.. luckily I sorted out Heal and Consume to recharge faster.. but DAMN... talk about slapping at one point I cud sit there and taunt em (liberally) now they 'hit back' lol tactics rethink methinky.. but was still fun

In beta i had a lvl 26 Ninja MM, to say the least, while good, they got boring, very fast. My Merc MM is currently on his way to 22, My opinion on Mercs until i get Commando at 26 is that they have got very weak very fast. Having seen all MM henchmen in action I have to say the winner in my eyes is Bots, no doubt they shall be struck with the Nerf Bat sometime soon...

LOL it's damn fun i didn't think it wud be for me.. but I liked it.. I brought my level 50 (unrespecced-i5)Tanker in at one point, teamed with the GF and sum SG guys, ended up on my own, and near the end, had about 6 people (blasters/tankers/scrapper ) all on me trying to take me down they did eventually when the ice blaster dropped my toggles.. but was well cool.. and sumtimes a good test to see how your toon performs under varied conditions, rather than missions you can do blind folded, at least with PvP - you have to think about your plan of attack/defense.

This mainly is what I'm getting at.. how can u expect to go into a PvP area and not get jumped?

It's like going into a Quake 4 map and just sitting there for hours on end with ur rail gun, talkin bout the weather.

Okay.. granted there are badges, but like any map, ie Peregrine wud u expect to go thru there without something (ie sniper) trying to drop you? Or Hollows, wud u expect the Trolls to leave u alone, as ur level 12 Toon walks past..?

If you're solo and are just there for the badges.. maybe broadcast that THATs what you're there for.. and don't interfere with the PvP, infact.. don't go anywhere near it, that way most people will at least be aware of it.

PVP = PLAYER VS PLAYER..

You are TOLD that it could happen, yet today i had people whining at me that we was attacking them? Okay.. maybe they didnt want it.. but hell, you're warned about it.. u enter a PvP zone, then it MIGHT happen... its what they're there for...

Can someone pls tell me what people's problem is?

It helps to have got to 50 with any AT as by then you would have seen almost all the bad guys and many of the powers and how to use them of the other AT.
Im not saying that if given the option to play a pb /ws from start a new player to the game wouldnt cope with it but you find that getting xp would be hard and if you are finding it hard to lvl now it would be worse with a pb/ws, its a kind of gift( the only one) that people who reach lvl 50 can get to reward there hard work and effort to understand the game.

Keep at those lvls and you will get to 50 faster than you think then that pb/ws will be all yours

Indeed.. I was well happy after 500+ hours levelling my Scrapper to 50...

Then I made a PB took me 4 attempts at build styles.. my 4th one was the successful one.. and 680 hours levelling in total.. but I got that to 50.. and it was a long and tedious path :| I'm glad my girlfriend plays this game, and she' kept me sane, when I was ready to give up.

They're powerful.. but they DAMN aint easy.. what can I say...? Quantums/Voids hurt.. a lot!

Not sure which you mean on this.. but I'll say both..

Incandescence: Usually I find 2-3 slot anyway to be perfectly fine with it, 6 slot seemed overkill since i5, as well as on the other defenses, since i6, not much choice, but so far testing I've not found much problem .. voids yea.. they wont change much, but otherwise, you should be ok

Incandescent Strike: On my PB , I kept it as 1acc/1end/1attc/3dmg = 109/250 (smash/nrg dmg) on +3 mobs (tried it on Test Server last night), Build generally seems to add about another 50 to either side.

So work keeping it 6 slotted I think. (all 50++ as well, as i cba to get equal level ones)
