Okay, I have done my priliminary run of the Shadow Shard sections, to refresh my memory.. and I've refitted my Controller and Imps ready.

I'm all set for this venture.

I'll be at 'Dr. Quarterfield' by about 3:40pm or so, so people have plenty of time to meet up with me (those that are helping).

Okay.. as posted I will be attempting this Shadow Shard TF, Solo, using 8 people to help me start it, and 4 at least, of those willing will remain on that TF until needed, so those willing to remain, must let me know for sure ASAP, so I can get the final details down.

Detail Summary as follows:

1) Shadow Shard Task Force: Dr. Quarterfield "Explorers and Exploiters" (Portal Smasher TF badge) Task Force Details

2) Estimated Time to start is: Sunday afternoon (4pm). Unless anyone has a problem with that one I will accomodate people on this factor and arrange a suitable time to start.. so input is needed there, so we can all meet up, at a acceptable time.

(Those helping please send me a PM in game to @Raziel or on the forum (PM wise), so i can get the names down ready.)

3) Those that remain on that TF to help with Glowie missions are being given the choice to come back on the last mission as well, and gain said "Portal Smasher" SS-TF badge free, for they're help in this endeavour.

4) Those that remain on the TF, are asked NOT to interfere in that TF in anyway shape or form. Do not even re-enter the Shadow Shard if needs be, do not attempt ANY mission remaining on the TF, unless otherwise told/asked to do so. I will be keeping track of my progress on this Forum, so people who are interested will know how things are going.

5) Estimated time to complete the TF "solo" 1 week or less depending on game play, I estimate tho at my gaming times.. about so, or less.

So, to start I'll need 8 people, and for the glowies, i'd need at least 4 people to remain in the TF as i do it, and if they're "nice" enough, they'll stay in the TF long enough till I get to those parts. Easy enough,

Well the TF will sort it self for a 1 man team as it wud jsut be me there.. I'd be on heroic (hey i'm mad, but not crazy! :P), and I'd have 3 imps and fire cages / bonfire / powerboost / char / cinders ... soo, if I can handle level 53 Malta solo on my Kronos arc, I think I'll be ok. But I'm going through TF notes on the websites I can find, to make sure I'm prepared, and I'll have an Alt on my other account, standing by or Insps/Awaken-duty :P lol as well as the Coffee machine on "RED-ALERT".

::: I'm maybe looking at starting this on the roll Sat/Sun - depending on who I can find to help me start it.. Sooner I start, the Sooner I move through it. Got sum alterations to make on my Controller, but otherwise Weekend start looks good.

At my playing, possible estimated-time to get that said TF completed: End of next-week, maybe even sooner.

OOoo.. did I mention that for helping me, those that stay and help with those "4 glowie" missions are invited to remain on the TF (not with me till then of course) and come back for the LAST mission, as a sign of appreciation.. ie : Portal Smasher awarded for ending the TF? no? well.. I've just mentioned it.

Hey all, I'm not totally sure where to put this Post, so I'll put it here as its to do with "Union" as a main.


Now, I'm not sure if this has been done before, but I'm feeling confident with my Controller, that I MIGHT be able to do it - and I want to try it

I've read that that "Portal Smasher" Task Force is one of the Longest running TFs going, as well as most people avoid it like the plague.. and it's the only one I have never done, and I want to do it.

So my proposal is this:

::: For first time as I'm aware of, I want to attempt to do the WHOLE 'Shard TF "SOLO".

Thats right... "SOLO".

Just me, and the 3 Imps vs whatever the TF will throw at me.

Obviously not in one day, but over time, as I can fit in.

And I need a little help to do it.

So, I would like, any advice/info people can give me, from those that have done this SS-TF: what to expect, tactics, etcetc - so I have first-hand experienced knowledge of that TF.

Then I need 7 people, to just come into Firebase Zulu with me when I'm ready and help me start this TF, once started, they can go on there merry way.

I know it's probably a long-shotted venture - but I'm bored.. and I feel like a challenge.

Yes the level 20 one.. same as when u team on normal PvE missions, Say you need a badge on a 50 and an alt gets that mission. Simple, log in with lower level, get a friend to join you, "captain" then to keep the mission 'open', log in ur 50, and wipe thru mission.

It's how I got sum "missed" badges on my troller "Badge-[censored]".

All of them.

They all serve a different Purpose to Defense, whether is be AoE, Ranged, Melee, Knockback, Holds, etcetc.

Get them all.

Last time I checked the usual Fire/Ice (PvE) one worked.

Tried mine in PvP (Warburg) Went 1 vs 5 vs a (level 50 original) Invul Tanker, a dark scrapper, blaster, and a Ice controller.. was fine..

then an ice blaster from my old SG Agency, came along and dropped my toggles :P that was 8+mins after the initial attack..

Don't underestimate the Fire/Ice build from before, jsut alter ur RES/DEFs to cope with ED and generally you should be ok

Same same, I've personally found I don't need it any other way they're more than capable as they are.

Besides, even if one gets splatted.. I have 2 others left -- and most things are dead, before I need to worry about them anyway
