Ah, I misread, it was late, or early, and I did fall asleep just after that post.

Get in touch with badgers, roleplayers, pvpers etc and I'm sure the servers won't look so empty.
[/ QUOTE ]
This.
For everyone who complains the servers are empty, there's another saying they aren't. If you pop down to Galaxy Girl's statue on Union most week nights it can be hard to find a place to sit down for all the roleplayers. Atlas Park is often littered with new characters and people dancing for no obvious reason under the statue. (And, yes, I know Union is supposed to have the higher population.)
Butik probably isn't reading any more, but if so, which server are you on? -
I think the issue with the hats is more general, in that many hats have no associated hair, when it would be nice to have it. Equally, if you want a baseball cap, you get hair.
I think the main obstacle to this is actually the colour system. With only two colours, it would be a problem having (as an example) hair showing under the Vanguard hat, because the hat itself has two colours, and you would need at least one more for the hair.
i.e. This is a bigger overhaul than it sounds. Not impossible, but with more ramifications than it first appears. -
Some form of 'help, help' would be good, though I've noticed you often get speech bubble's popping up from mobs when you're near them litterally, but still have a mile of corridor to go through to get to them, so it may still be difficult to find them.

Possibly the latter. It's my major failing, but I'm trying to rectify that.

I know, that was my clever psychological trick to get you to spread the load a bit.
I'll stick with Nitoichi as long as we're doing it then. She's the only UV character I have so she should be a stable invite source as long as my router doesn't decide to dump me out. -
(I forgot the weather yesterday, shame, I checked it today, however, and this one has to go down.)
Winter is officially here, Paragon City! Snow! Light snow this morning will give way to snow showers this afternoon, with the temperature rising to a massive 2C at its height. Expect up to one inch of wet snow through the day and rising winds toward nightfall combined with a drop down to -9C means wrap up warm, or risk frostbite. AT least the snow should have stopped by tonight.
Tomorrow, sunny, but very cold. -
I'm thinking maybe a briefing of your current members tomorrow might be an idea, so we all know where everything is. And maybe some plan for how you want to handle this OOC. Or were you just going for being all control freaky and trying to do everything yourself.
-
Seems reasonable, though from what I remember, the PvP Zones do that. Isn't Warburg auto-SK/exemp to 38?
-
Um, yeah. Very poor search-fu.
Not going to happen. Stated policy. Yadda. -
Floor arrows would be good, but you still don't really know what they mean. Colour coding, again, identifies an area, but doesn't tell you where to go for other areas. Zortel is using colour coiding quite effectively in the Unity Vigil base. It does, at least, let you follow the pretty colours, if you know what the pretty colours mean.
-
Doesn't help you find the entrance portal on the other side of the base. If I'm in a room, I can probably figure out what it's for.
-
Probably already suggested. Certainly should have been.
The ability to name rooms. The labels to show up on the map when you hover over the room. With bigger plots more available now, the issue of getting lost in your own base (never mind someone else's base) is likely to become more accute. -

But that's been fixed now. I just stuck a PD teleporter beacon behind one.

And it looks great, I might add, but I agree with LN. I think it's a low cost option that was added with specific limitations, i.e. one pad, linked to one portal. -
Well, okay, but you realise that Auto powers, having no endurance cost, have massively lower defensive stats, right?
-
Traditional Valkyri don't have wings, so I think we can just ignore the 'Valkyrie Theme' idea. It's not actually anything to do with Norse ghost collecters, operatic or otherwise.

I've already outlevelled a couple of 10-15 story arcs because of it when before I wouldn't have.
[/ QUOTE ]
I spent pretty much all my time levelling Ni from about level 38 to 50 in the RWZ doing Borea's instanced missions. I did go through and do a few arcs, but not that many. And I really don't care.
Why is this? Well, because I haven't 'out-levelled' them. I can press a button, step through a portal, and do them any time I like. I even checked and the (apparently very interesting) Midnighter arcs, which I out-levelled by virtue of the fact they were added long after I had passed those levels, are available through Ouroboros too, so I can still go and do those.
There really isn't any such thing as 'out-levelling an arc' any more. And this way, I can totally ignore the ones I remember boring me to tears when I did them on Crow and every arc was vital to stop you having to finish a level band on hunts. -
Well, if you have Patrol XP and turn XP gain off, it still eats through your Patrol XP. So you can turn XP gain off, chew through your Patrol XP, and then level normally.
Unless that's a bug and will be fixed sometime. -
I think red-side might complain, though a Roleplayer Day Job would be cute.
-
Not all rewards, just XP. If you exemp, or hit 50, and so cannot gain XP, you gain extra Inf/Prs to 'compensate'. If you choose to not gain XP (probably to stop yourself levelling while a friend catches up or something) then you don't gain the extra Inf.
I just used the feature myself, btw, since I needed to get close to level without hitting it. Got a level 50 party mission planned for tonight and if I had let myself get the boss and mission bonus XP, I'd have gone over. -
Please note, it's not like exemping or being level 50, you stop gaining XP, you don't gain extra Inf/Prs instead.
-
Everyone knows that all typos are caused by the Typing Debuff field around the Galaxy Girl statue, which is the only thing to be consitently buffed by the Devs since the game was launched.

PS. It would appear that the sooner you get that new forum software up and running, the better...

When I was pushing War Crow up to 50, we did not have the nice red and yellow books to indicate story arcs. I did do quite a few of the Praetorian Arc missions, but always from someone else's list. I also did my own missions with AVs in, which were not on the arc. (Frankly, I got sick of the sight of the stupid things.)
When I came back, I loaded up Crow and there were some open yellow mission arcs, from down in the late 30s, I think. So I cleared those out and suddenly I got this huge rash of 45-50 story arcs appear, including the Praetorian Arc.
Point is, prior to that, I had given up because there just were no more instanced missions available to me. I had used up all the one-off missions and the arcs were locked because I still had two old ones open.
Clear the old arcs, OP. -
Re-built your base yet? Does getting a slightly bigger plot, ripping out a workshop to make it bigger, and then discovering I didn't have the prestige anyway count?
Made a Captain America Clone yet? I created one shield scrapper on Test, just to look at the customisation. I have no desire to make one on Live.
Converted your salvage to brainstorms yet? Yes. At least all the stuff I had in base storage.
Lost a crafted item behind a base wall yet? No.
Petitioned a Captain America Clone yet? No, or seen one.
Converted your brainstorms to salvage yet? No.
Earnt a merit yet? Yes, 8 of them across two characters. I am sooo rich man. Pfft!
Done a boring TF just for the merits yet? No, and I won't.
Done a dual build yet? No.
Done a respec yet? No.
Realised you should have done the dual build after the respec yet? N/A
Decide to not play a character just for the day job yet? No, and I won't. -
