Ive been away a few days on leave (Aion beta Rocks), but i see my virtuous efforts to thwart, the vigorous, and vicious ventures of vermin vesting in our eternal struggle of good versus evil, is needed more than ever. I will assume my patrol today, and any unlawful fite klub will have to be stopped, per Jupiterian order 2433-573-00 of the alpha omega code of justice.
I spoke with a few of our engineers, and the intake manifold, is finally repaired on our Thermal Injunction Plasma Sequence Y-axis (Tipsy), this is great news, since our power levels are back to full operational levels, we can now use our site to site transporters, to teleport directly to crime scenes. The back up generators located by the Hydroponic Unilateral Metaphysics Processors or (Hump) are also fully operational, so the weapons array on C deck can now be used, this is good news indeed. -

Why? Why? Because it's the law and if you are caught breaking the law be me or other officers you will be punished on the spot. It has to be this way to maintain order. -

Now when i say i dropped a ton of cash trust me lol, my visa card almost melted when i was paying for it, i might even have to rent the kids out for cheap labor to eat lol. And i got on freedom and lagged just like anyone eles i even mapserved once and got killed lol. If i had got this rig for cox id be furious but i wanted to play AION in style the open beta starts tomorrow lol.
Edit this all seemed to happen after i15 for most ppl so... and also it's just poor server stability because when you mapserve like 10 or more ppl do it with you, so yea it's them, it's no way it can be all of us. I probably can launch the shuttle with my new rig, but can't play a decent game of cox haha. -

I know for certain that the, on my home server of triumph, 6 very active very good pvpers quit. Now while it may not be alot at first glance, this is triumph, the total RV population is lucky to exceed 10.
I transfered to freedom, and I actually plan on quitting soon. Aion doesn't intrest me, nor does CO, i play H3 and H:CE more then this game sometimes, KotR online thing looks interesting tho. -

Champion for example is pretty fucken dead.
Then i13 dropped, and alot the skilled ppl from the tiny server left, than later even the non skilled folk left. So those who were left was forced to go to a pvp populated server, unfortunately all the other server basically were facing the same thing, so we all wound up on freedom for good. I know this could not have been castles master plan, because it would have been alot simpler to make a pvp server and herd us all there for the slaughter. Instead of making us flee to freedom, but then again they couldn't tax us those awesome transfer fees then hmmm. -

And yeah, that's dumb. People need to get back into the GL/HF spirit of things. When we started saying that, we actually meant it. GG used to actually mean good game, too. Good game as in "Thanks for the match, that was fun!". Now people use GG as an insult. As far as trash talk... good trash talk was never serious, and was best when not used after a win or loss, but rather to kill time between matches.

So I'm in the house and my GF shows up, i made a previous bargain, where i let her make a toon and play on my account from time to time, to keep the aggro down. She usually gets on a team and does the whole pve thing np. But today, i was in freedoms PD and she said she wanted to try and arena someone, i figured it would be funny to watch her get wrecked so i said go for it. Now, it just so happens the one toon she made is a ss/elec brute, she has a few io's i gave her but nothing really else, but it was fotm therm day in the arena. Like every other person was thermal something, so she ended up dueling a mind/therm troller.
So the fight begins, and with aidself and using the 2 range attacks she had she lasted the whole 10min. During the fight the troller is like don't think your good or anything, I'm sorry for not killing you sooner blah blah. But this death never happened in fact, 2 seconds to SD she taunted and stole the win with a mace attack. OMG the cursing began it was funny, how mad ppl get over a game. Your toons trash, your not on my level, don't think your good, so on and so forth. I can imagine a new pvpr probably would be discouraged from stuff like that, your damned if you win your damned if you lose. So they verbal pvped for like 10min and the troller wanted a rematch so she agreed.
When SD hit she poped greens and had another tie, what ever happened to the good ole days when you only talked smack after a win? She even said GF and the troller was like screw your GF your no good, your toons trash. lol Times sure have changed, i guess the troller is supposed to be good or something, or atleast thinks they are idk i never seen her. But if you read this you should stop considering your self so good, you lost to someone who on their very first pvp fight they beat you, and the worst part you lost to a girl who can't really even play games.
That's also a hidden message to castle, because on the other hand our pvp allows someone as non skilled as her get wins by default. The trollers insults really didnt make sense though, like lol a brute who builds for max hp and uses aidself. I read that and i didn't get it, or lol you speak like you can beat me. But the troller just lost and tied against a total non player, she might play once a month if that.
But anyway i just wanted to share that with yall, i felt it was a interesting tidbit, and kinda shows a sample of how far pvp has sunk. Aion is looking kinda good indeed lol. -

So i'm thinking, if i just fought you and a friend solo and won, why would fighting you without your friend, change the fight? So i asked him, you did know you had help and lost right? You do realize this? Sadly he had no more words after that.
Next, just today i encountered a squishie ss/ea brute, and a single stalker helper, this should be a bad match up for one hero, but i'm game and i figured if it got over my head, i'd click my temp phase and reset. So the stalker tried to do me in with range attacks, he must have shot 50 sharks lol, i kill the brute, now i'm thinking guess he'll run now. He didn't, he tried to sit and fight me on his /nin, in the wrong style of fight for him, so he died and i was just thinking more AE vills to the slaughter.
Whoever said that the vets, were just made because i13 and beyond would make us weaker and lesser skilled opponents would over throw us, was very silly indeed. The disparity is just more apparent now, you can truly see who is weak now. -

If what you say is true and the fightclubbers are like that I can imagine that it would be very frustrating.
lol btw Tokyo, anything that stands in the way of farming should be banned. I have had many a warning because I get too "passionate" about defending farmers :P

that would otherwise have participated, so 20 mins vs career in pvp?

Fightclubbing only effects the ones that are involved, if they left the zone to PD the zone would be empty, why not allow the 2 or 3 mins duel for the sake of a busy zone.
The fite klub police would moreso resemble resistance fighters, a group of ppl great in numbers, that do not agree with the fite klub doctrine, so they choose to go against the minority in this case, the fite klubbers.----I'm funny with jokes i know :P
But on a serious note, you were wrong when you said, it don't effect us and why not allow a 2-3 min duel. First off 99% of all duels are melee and they never last under 5min, and if they are decently built toons, your looking at 10-20min. Now in that 10-20min span, all those who we let live and participate freely in this activity diminishes our chances to get pvp IO's even further, that 20min could have increased the % of drops. Also not killing the duelist diminishes our chances even further, why should we let someone eles get the drop possibility if we can ourselves? And haven't we all suffered enough from things that diminish us?
By that same logic if they leave, and go to the arena they are not present so you can't miss what is not their, it cuts down on the zone chatter/distractions. And everyone that would have sat and watched the duel, will not be so eagar to take the trip to the arena just to see the fight, thus showing they are not truely dedicated to the fite klub cause, just attracted by the shiny lights. -
Donna, we all seem to be missing your point it was like 4-5 of us in a row, so are we crazy or is it just you? Your interpretation of harrrasment is not only subjective, it is obviously not shared by the devs. Hell most times when i stop a fight it was dragging on for to long anyway, most times i don't even speak (actually i rarely say anything in zones, i prefer action) And that warning in front of the pvp zones do not include the warning you will be attacked exept if your dueling, they haven't put the new sign up. So until they do, whether i eventially understand your point or not, i will continue to smash orange colored toons in pvp zones at my discretion, and yes even if their dueling, and yes even if they announce that their dueling. Well that would probably bring me in the first place, and actually i tried to watch a few and even participate back in the day.
I was on a team, and a guy asked me to duel, so i did and after like 10min we both was still alive, i got bored stopped swinging and called my team over to kill him. I then purged that toon, stripped his evil IO's, rerolled him and studied jupiterian law, at the Cosmic law academy of Practice or CLAP. After this new toon had a complete and unwavering understanding or the purity of the jupiterian way. He was then sent out to deal with offenders and to save them like i was once saved, and keep the streets of RV safe from the fite klub evil. -

I was in RV over the weekend... just getting some badges, when all of a sudden I was attacked by two vil's.
I put up an ok fight, not that I can pvp to save my life.... but as best I could none the less.
And wouldn't you know it.... I got complaints for using a hvy, can ya believe that? Me, only a lvl 43 with a pve build, going up against spec'ed out 50's... the shame of it all. I should know better than have a hvy following me around when the FCP want to enforce justice.
Anyway.... I, or should I say my hvy, defeated two vils.... on top of that building.... just like a fight club.... and you wanna stop that kind of fighting? (?/fire is not noted for it's pvp ability)
Anyway... I had fun. They didn't... but I did.

And to be honest, i don't even hate fite club, but i swore an oath to protect and serve so if i'm forced to break up your fite klub rest assured i'm doing it for your own good. -
Also a side note, if the devs wanted ppl to fite klub they would take a page from CO and let you engadge a duel anywhere anytime uninteruptible.

Movement has always been the key element to this game. Keep moving. Stalker problem solved.
The only ATs that should be having problems with stalkers are Tanks and Scrappers and they can take an AS.
If you're getting ASed repeatedly as a defender, blaster, troller, you're doing something wrong.
P.s. team up. Most Stalkers will only AS and run, they won't perform any follow-up attack if they know your team is near by. -
