I got a Dark Stalker to Level 32 and frankly... with only four moves that actually do damage... the whole set sucks! He was dumped in the bin... pretty much like every alt I have had but that isn't the point. If you're going EA why not go EM too. I have heard EM is one of the best Stalker sets... that and it gets called "easy mode".

If you want to PvP... Black Scorpion.

If you want to PvE... Scirocco.

If you want the most awesomest hold ever... Ghost Widow.

If you like sharks and are animal friendly... Captain Mako.

Something you want to say Hammerfall?

When PvPing if you're Assassin's * misses... don't run for the hills. You only lose respect of other players and look like a chicken and then get abuse for being a rubbish PvPer. Stick it out until your health bar goes orange or lower. You're not the most resilient fighter but showing that you have some guts proves you can fight.

It saddens me to see that some people can't except defeat

The other day I was put on someones /ignore list (Me!? Of all people! ) because that someone was teasing me (how that works I don't know ). An argument then started (which I didn't start FYI) and we ended up rowing on broadcast all because that one person couldn't believe I was playing my Stalker in a "Sneak 'n' Stike" fashion. And like all Stalkers (who aren't EM) if an AS missess... I run! Eventually said person couldn't take anymore of my, and I quote, "BS" (Broadsword? Funny... I am a Claws Stalker ) and thus I was ingnored. But IMO I should've done the ignoring but I am not one to stoop down to said person's level.

Also, another pointer. What the hell happened to Relcuse's Victory night!? Or was that farming night, not PvP night?

I am sorry but it is a PvP zone . If someone broadcasts "I am farming!" I go and kill them. But only once... or twice.

I used to be like that. "Do not attack etc." but then I woke up and smelt the coffee. There are idiots out there and if they annoy you then become a better idiot and annoy them back! (Of course, you're the one who isn't the idiot as they shouldn't have annoyed you in the first place )But when you do defeat them everytime you approach them or they approach you... they leave you alone then thus allowing you to farm in peace.

But seriously, Recluse's Victory is a PvP zone and the turrets/anchors/pillboxes are there for the game to be played and see which side can win. They are not to be farmed allowing which ever side captures them the quickest to reset the zone. It defeats the entire purpose of the zone! I have never once entered RV and played the game where it is actually Heroes VS Villains to see who can capture the most pillboxes and/or take the most pillboxes from the opposing side! I enter and it is followed by "Oh. There are more Heroes. Let them take the pillboxes and reset the zone". So then I act and take the pillbox just to annoy them. But am I really annoying them? No I am playing the game RV was meant for. The whole concept of the zone isn't for farming. And when poeple do say they are farming it annoys me, but then again I make the odd exception depending on how nice they ask and if I know them.

Sorry. Thought I'd get that off my chest.

Now that is exactly what I DON'T want! I find it hard enough sacrificing three powers for the Fitness Pool!

It is a tough choice to make - limitless End or a heal/buff!

EDIT: And Graventite... the rambling does help. I asked around and apparently it is one of the flavours of the month (Energy Melee/Electric Armor). Nothing wrong with being a bit different.

Blasterminds? Pfft! I couldn't make a Mastermind and NOT take the pets. I just wouldn't feel... like I am the boss of someone.

And you're character/build size only affects Line Of Sight. +Perc, +Acc etc. applies on all build/char sizes.

I asked my friend what Archetype can solo, is an asset to any teams and can hold its own in PvP. He said make a Brute. I want a Brute that can do exactly that! Hope that's enough info for ya!

Hi there

I am thinking of rolling a Brute but I am torn between which melee set to have and which secondary. For melee I am thinking Energy Melee or Electric Melee. But (there's always one of them isn't there?) I have no idea which to go for. Pom poms or, according to some players, Electric which is slower than Stone Melee (recharge wise) and isn't really a good melee set. Lightning Rod looks so damn cool (PBAoE Superior Energy Damage, Knockback, Teleport, Foe -End) however for only Superior damage... it has a 90 second recharge and apparently - as I mentioned - the other moves aren't exactly hard hitting and take a bit to recharge. Energy Melee on the other hand has two Extreme Damage Single-target moves which recharge in 20 seconds each! Also, the other attacks seem to recharge nicely as well. I am also concidering Super Strength but someone will have to shed some light on that.

Now to discuss shields. People have told me Electric Armor is rubbish as it is based on dodging (isn't Super Reflexes?) and that it isn't a good set. I have seen first hand people die when using Power Surge. My friend activated it, charged into a mob of Longbow his own level with no Longbow Warden in that mob and he faceplanted five seconds later. Invulnerability is supposed to be good and is the second best recommended set for the RSF (so I have heard).

What are your thoughts?

The cone attack is Psychic Scream and the PBAoE Extreme is Psychic Shockwave (looks very similar to Psychic Wail - the nuke).

I have no idea about Psionic Assault either And the animations are SO slow. Mental Blast: recharge: 4 seconds, casting time: forever. No wonder people call it the "last hit move".

I chose Stealth because there was no other powers Or... I just didn't choose correctly.

I do find End an issue especially when I solo. I can burn all my End after fighting just four opoonents

Maybe a Dominator isn't for me...
