I'd already been considering the character "Thyme in a Bottle" before due to plant/time - as such this made me log into game right before work.

The only VIP feature that started to accrue prior to freedom's launch is the 400PP a month.

Quote:Bull. The Trials don't go that fast. This or content that can be soloed or performed by a regular team to earn incarnate experience/salvage. I loath the trials because you spend as much time getting organized as actually playing.
No. -

One exception : The basic achievement badges (Debt/Damage/Level/etc) are unique to praetorian started characters, and those characters will not qualify to unlock HEATs or VEATs.

- A player will receive one additional token for every cumulative 12 months of total paid subscription time
- A player will reveive two additional tokens if they were subscribed during the release of Issue 12
- A player will receive two additional tokens if they purchased Going Rogue before City of Heroes Freedom's release
- A player will receive one additional token per character slot purchased, before or after Freedom's release
Is what we were told. If this doesn't match, bug/submit a support ticket. -
If this is the same as the old Game Card (which gave 30 days, started an account if you didn't have one, gave the Korean jetpack for 30 days) it overwrites for the Jetpack.

Quote:WHat do you mean? There are melee powers with durations, why, I know of at least one with a 17s duration!DF is a click power. All click powers check once on activation and, if applicable, every ten seconds after that. Note the "if applicable" part. Any click powers with a duration less than 10 seconds don't get a second proc (technically, if a melee attack had a duration longer than 10 seconds, it would get a second check...these don't exist, however
and would be a terrible idea!)

Yeah, there is no specialization to longbow, "supers" among them are things like Spines scrappers and grav doms/controllers.

Quote:Just what you need, I'm sure. A mechanical life form capable of both talking back AND obliterating at least a continent on a single load of ammo that it can self-create out of most anything. Where would you park it without annoying the neighbors?I just wish I had a bolo. A tank 5 stories tall would be awesome.
/nottooobscureIhope
Or are we not talking Mark XXXIII here?
And as for obscurity... I'd place it at a 7 or 8 out of 10, but this is a forum for a geeky genre so that lowers it to about a 5 due to conditional modifiers. -
Just to ask, have your kids ever seen you without a beard? If not, you might want to make sure they are there when you shave
(I remember a friend who's dad did that... the dad said his kid was all 'put it back! Put it back!') -

Okay.
Take a look at Father Xmas's signature - he puts together a list of parts that make decent rigs - I am using a modified version of one of his for my current computer and it runs great. -
Quote:I simply read it as "Lois Lane is Missing... again" or "Robin is exploring his fondness for bondage... again" or "The Joker is out of Arkham... again".So, I just found another bit that probably fits into this thread. A line by Montague Costanella.
"Percy Winkley is missing... again."
Now this is something that folks may already know, but when I first saw it, I thought it was another of those fourth wall referential moments, about how every new Hero would be running the arc (at least if they want in Cimerorra).
Well, I just started a contact that I hadn't run it apparently years, Harvey Maylor. One of the first elements of his arc? Rescuing Percy Winkly from Carnies.
The kid is just unlucky.
As for Monty's arc hero-side being 10+, it's because it involves the lost, which only exist sub-20. -
Quote:You know we are talking the AE NPC creator, right? So far I've only had the usual mishap with faces on some of my characters, standard head model. It seems every time they revamp the character creator it messes up some of the faces. Good thing I have like 50+ free costume tokens on those characters or I'll have to solo an hour to make up that Inf.
Quote:Again, I'm not asking them to build anything. All they need to do is disable the options that break AE. As for #1, no problem. I was happy to elucidate my exact meaning. How my post read is subjective, though. It sucked to have words put into my mouth...both by you and by Chris_Zuecher. All I'm saying is - well - what I'm saying. This is all broke, and they're billing it in promotional media as premium content.
That may not be wise.
Quote:Hear that debugger? Debug.
As for "putting words in your mouth" - try not to complain about bugs being fixed while mentioning new shiney stuff. We've had people in the past complain that "They are giving us new [costume parts/story/powerset] while X is still broken! They should of fixed X first!" because they seem to think that a graphics artist, animator, or writer can debug code just because they work on a program (in this case, a video game). -
So turn the power that makes things untargetable into a foe-targeted toggle?
-
Debugging is being given a mass of parts, more than you need, and being told to build something you've more than likely never seen. It's not simply "Spend X minutes" on an issue and it's fixed.
As for my #1 above, it was in response to how your post read to me. -
1 - You assume the "Shiny fluff" producing people also have the ability to debug code. Hear that Tunnel rat? FX those fixes in for AE!
2 - We just had a major update (Issue 21) to the game. That can break things, it happens. For all we know, It's the coding for the contact coins somehow bizarrely interacting with the costume creator causing this (aka "the ghost in the machine" - complex code is complex, and possibly circular)
3 - I love paragon studios, but one could argue their Known Issues documentation has not always been the best. -
Quote:Could the FX team make the targeting a coloumn, one that is both above and below the crosshairs (to cover flyers) during the warning phase and not kill the systems displaying it/All of the "move or die" FX powers should be tagged with a priority on them to make them draw first before any other FX, so those people with lower graphic settings will still see them even if a million other things are going on.
If you find this isn't the case, please report the bugs so we can remedy that. -
Quote:To actually get the badge, you must slot the rewards tokens. To get the "tier bonus" for "filling" a tier you must merely possess enough tokens to fill it (and all below, of course). Communications, both parts, are "Tier Bonuses".And as I said, he had one vet badge, Rookie. No Trustworthy badge so not a premmie!
So it could of been a premium player, even one who never got the first vet badge under the old system, as you also get a bonus token for the first box code. -
Not unless you buy the license in the Paragon Market.
Epics require both you have a License to play and a native hero or villain (depending on the EAT) to create/play.
All VIPs have the license and Premium players can buy a permanent one for 1000 Paragon Points. -
Looks great. Thanks
-
Note, for Epic Archetypes, you must pay to play (or unlock) - only Masterminds and Controllers can be unlocked via the Paragon Rewards system.
