Stalkers seem to work best on the strike, run and hide, strike tactics. It might seem strange on a team, but this really does work well. Assassin strike, take a couple of strikes, then run around the corner to get hide back, and return - repeat. Their Crit Inherent only works when they are hidden, and the Assassin Strike does best when hidden, so really - this tactic makes a lot sense.
[/ QUOTE ]Er, no, it doesn't, and in fact, never was only while hidden.
Pre-buffs, Stalkers had a 20% chance to crit out of hide against a held, slept, or stunned target. Post-buffs they now have a 15% chance to crit outside of hide, that increases with the number of teammates near you (I think 15 feet?)
[/ QUOTE ]
In PvE, stalkers had guaranteed crits, as I recall ,vs. the mezzed (slept/held/stunned, I think it was) npcs.
The 20% vs. the appropriate mezzes is only in PvP and still remains.
The PvE out-of-hide crit chance is 10+3/nearby teammate %. So base 10%, max of 31% -

Yep, with i14 came the note that exploiting and farming is not what the MA is about, and actions would be taken against those caught. -

Raise Imps level back up to even with the caster.
Give imps inherent acc, def, res, and dmg debuffs to make them the same power that they were at - to the caster, only with the code seeing them as lvl 50.
Sure, there may be practical reasons why it's not that easy, but conceptually it should be that easy, no?
Just to add: I have to agree (*shudder*) with EvilRyu on this one. It's really not fair for one pet powerset among all the others to lose out on the purple pet set. Parents: sometimes your kids are being immature and just complaining. Other times, things are Actually not fair. Calling it what it is does not automatically reveal immaturity.
[/ QUOTE ]
That still doesn't solve the problem where exemping to any other level makes it so the imps don't benefit.
[/ QUOTE ]
A reason why hack solutions are generally the worst solutions.
EDIT : And that would only fix it for fire imps.
They would have to go through and do it for EVERY henchman that never spawns at level 50, as well. -

The explanation is pretty clear, those badges were encouraging behaviour they did not want
[/ QUOTE ]
Except that most of them did NOT. The handful that DID could have been fixed by lowering the requirements. The "explanation" only makes a tiny bit more sense than their "explanation" for removing base salvage (i.e., fixing a "problem" that didn't exist).
[/ QUOTE ]
But at what point does lowering them make them worthless, and is that point lower than the "discourages unwanted behavior" point? -

Is test 2 still Freedom? It used to be Virtue, but somewhere just before this apparenty it got changed. I miss my old "I won't really play you but since you were the first character I made on Test to show off the new body sliders, I'll just move you to test 02 and you'll be safe and... oops" characters there.
[/ QUOTE ]
Last week, I think it was, it got remade into a more recent copy of Freedom. -

The other thing I have not seen mentioned, is that you cannot drop timed missions. If you let the timer run out the mission fails, but generally the arc/contact continues.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yep, you cannot drop timed or badge-awarding missions. -

Pretty much all villain ATs are a hero AT mixed with a Blaster, except Brutes.
Brute = Scrapper + Tank. Average the two out and you get something with more survival than a Scrapper, but less damage (until their +DMG hits really high values).
Stalker = Scrapper + Blaster. They do high sustained damage and great burst, and AS is like opening with a snipe. Since they're averaged, Stalkers are squishier than Scrappers. But more durable than Blasters, of course.
Corruptor = Defender + Blaster. Less support ability (on par with Controller) but more damage than a Defender. But less than a Blaster.
Dominator = Controller + Blaster. Controls in tact, but you trade support skills for melee + range powers. Damage is actually pretty low right now, but it's going to go up with the dom buff soon.

Doing Penelope Yin's arc today reminded me of this old problem I've had with the Lost. How the hell is it that they go from huge musclebound gorilla looking things, complete with tusks, to the spindly, mouthless Rikti? Sure, the Rikti are quite tall, but none of them have any real muscle mass, except maybe Hro'Dtohz and U'Kon Grai.
[/ QUOTE ]Could very well be that they increase in mass until they get to the point of undergoing the main metamorphosis - which then consumes that mass. -

Alternitively, if I remember the commands right /windowshow health.
Whenever I need some help with the windows being messed up, I just search "window names" at paragonwiki.com. -
[ QUOTE ]
There should also be a 'Windows Scaler' under Options somewhere that will allow you change the size of your in-game windows.
[/ QUOTE ]But that does not affect font sizing.
EDIT: nevermind -

Damn, that's too bad. I'd encourage you to follow up with your interviewers - hopefully they'll be able to give you some more info on what to work on to improve your chances!

I dunno, the Mission Teleporter is really damn good, even after you have all your other ways of getting around.
[/ QUOTE ]Not saying it is not. But if I had to give up the GvE jump jets vs the Mission port... Bye misson port! The utility of the GvE stuff is that good. -
[ QUOTE ]
Once you have it fixed, type /ChatSave. If it messes up again, you can type /ChatLoad to fix it.
[/ QUOTE ]Alternitively, if you have an alt set up the same way as your character with the messed up chat , use the /chatsave and window save commands (alternatively these commands can be found at the bottom of the options in the menu as buttons) to make sure it is how you want it. If you do 't set those files yourself it, they still exist but with the games own defialts. Note that starting a character on a computer with customize chat/window/options saved load those automattically. -

Anyone care to summarize what the zombie was saying about his own post for me? -
For prestige? Team. Prestige is (basically) a form of influence, which is split equally among all, so the faster kill rate really pays off.
Now, if you want to maximize salvage, or recipes, etc. then you want to solo (as when they do drop, it is randomly given to one member of the team). -
Two quick things about teleports for you :
Any zone-crossing teleport power (Pocket D Teleport, Mission Teleporter, Base Teleport, etc) will require you are trained to level 3 (have selected where to place your first two extra slots) before you can use this to prevent issues with the tutorials.
Also, while in the main area of the club (any area where villains and heroes can mingle) all teleport powers are disabled. Note powers like the Mission teleport will still go off (and take the full time to recharge) but they won't work.
Go down the elevators, however, and they will work fine. -
Also - I think I like that Vampire Name generator.
-
[ QUOTE ]
Let's see, your zombie dark MM isn't so far of a stretch as you think, depending on your mindset. Think a vampire lord as opposed to a solo vampire.
[/ QUOTE ]
Don't think of them as zombies so much as Ghouls, spawn, and thralls.
My Necro/Dark is a vampire - took the life drain attack, and gloom (I think) and slotted the latter with entropic chaos - so one WILL heal me while hurting "you", the other has a chance to heal me while it WILL hurt "you". -
Personally most of us here on the forums seem to find the GvE goodies more useful to have - the Jump jets and Pocket D teleport both help you get around, in different ways.
Lot more than anything the booster packs or mac edition have, anyway.
