Ive decided a few days ago to start a warmace/superflexes brute (both for concept....a viking brute ). Ive dinged lvl 25 yesterday...and so far everything is ok and working fine, i lonly got a few problems with some SS Longbow Warden who are very resistant to SMASH damage.

My question is...how good will warmace be in the next 25lvl and how good and handy is it in the endgame.
Another question: How good can you pvp with warmace/superflexes? I know smash/lethal is the most common resisted damagetype but with all this possibilities to stun somebody is there a chance to more or less well in pvp?

really like this toon, wanna take him to 50 in any case...

My Fire/Storm corruptor hits lvl 34 last night...but now i got some questions for his further career cause i never had a stormy before and no real clue what i should take.
First of all this char is an AOE GOD, with the downside that his blue bar is always empty...and here we are at point

1.) which patron....scirocco....for power sink? or scorpion for his mace skills (web envelope etc.)...or another idea?
2.) thunderclap worth taking? ( i had bad memories when i thought of my SS tank with handclap...*shudders*)
3.) tornado...good power? or only for fun? or only good in combination with thunderclap-->stacking disorients
4.)o2 boost...the end costs are heavy and this only for a little heal and + perception?...so should i better get rid of it?

Any suggestions? thx in advance

Understandably so but it seems like 99% of melee PvPers have it.
For a game with so many distinct powersets it is boring to see the same set dominating PvP.

qft...90% of the stalkers and brutes in zone PvP got the pink pom poms of doom...

the biggest threat for a EM/WP brute in melee is another EM/brute...
I got a WP/SS tank with more then 3000HP. I fought a EM/WP brute last night in arena. Got no chance to take him down and EM>SS for PvP. ET is the best ST attack in the game and maybe a bit too powerful.

Downside...for teamplay your EM/brute is a bit useless

i dont see the heal in wp...

but anyway elec/elec is really a worse (the worst) set for stalkers. The last thing i want as a stalker is lots of aoe /pbaoe attacks/stuns with low accuracy.

with tough and weave you would not need aidself...just take a green inspiration if y<ou really need health in the fight

a selfres as a lvl 49power might be a good choice, even if you dont wanna die often
hasten or a patron AoE immob might be a better choice, too

if you like the set, then go for it
the "problems" from db are that the damagetype is "lethal" cause its heavily resisted in the late game and the lack of burst damage (this is only interesting for pvp)

electric armor sounds good to me
they only have to replace lightning field with hide and everything is fine

i got nearly the same build as battler except two things
instead of weave and hasten, i took conserve power and focussed accuracy..

but thats only peanuts

P.S. handclap & hurl are wasted powers, nice to look at but very sucky

i really hope controllers get "poison" as secondary *fingers cross*

i got a lvl 27 WP/SS tank and i have to say that i really love this kind of tank...my first tank without endurance problems the only thing is..when you jump right in the middle of tons of enemies and your health bar drops to 50% or 30% you first get worried but then if you see your health increase very fast, it feals great

the mix of res/def/regen and good endurance regenation makes him in my opinion very survivable and good to play (alone and with a team)

the only thing i didnt tried atm is pvp...will be interesting to see how good this works against other toons

Iam no friend of using inspirations in PvP fights. I hate ppl popping 10 purples and 10 reds who need this to kill someone...maybe i die a bit more often cause of this fact, but i die with honour

Most of my enemies were stalkers + brutes yesterday, so everyone of them were very resistant to disorient...

In PvE screech might be a good thing..but i think for PvP:
BU + AIm --> scream + shout + bonesmasher + energy punch will be a more then deadly combination

OK after 3hours of PVP in sirens yesterday, i can say that the life of a blaster can be very short But everytime i die, i took 1 enemie with me...

Screech seems to be very useless, i might better take energy punch instead of if...

And all enemies who got EM are very deadly for me, cause of no disorient protection
And 1 single target hold from a dominator is enough to break my acrobatics, oh boy that was frustrating... (ive never played squishies before)

obvioulsly there were 2 or 3 sister psyche TFs yesterday at 7PM

cause i was invited into a team without one single scrapper :P
