    In summery TP has always been a combat travel power, I wouldn’t be opposed to lowering the end costs. But any changes other than end costs would involve a misbalance in the stone sets.
    I cant have much pity for the stoners, sorry. The price of a tier nine that doesn't crash in two minutes and take three minutes to recharge should be high. The ability to only take three or four powers from your defense set and be indestructible should have a high cost involved. I say let the stoners move about freely, speed them up to normal speed but make Granite like the other tier nines, two minutes of uber and done.
  2. Would be nice if the stores outside of AE worked in much the same way. Lets not scroll through a list of unusable enhancements either not for our AT or out of level range. Lets just list what we can use and give us a nice second pane like in the AE ticket vendor window to go directly to a specific type. Have any of you ever been able to make much sense of the names for science or magical enhancements?
  3. I have recently been planning out some tanking builds for tankers and brutes and was having a tough time getting any appreciable resistance bonuses. Many of the bonuses are matched to odd sets or in the 6th tier making it difficult to obtain. I would like to see more of these bonuses in the defense / resistance type IO sets. Two reasons really. First, for an armored type you would have a better chance to build in some extra protection if they were in sets that are more in line with the power you will have. Second, to avoid giving the squishies too much more free armor for PVP builds. They got enough free armor I13 thank you.
  4. Me and a friend were discussing how much we enjoy the hotspot battles in Sirens Call. It can be very exciting to assist your favorite side in an all out war between factions. Would it be possible to design such a mission in AE? Most times when hotspotting it up you get attacked by other pl. It would be nice to have a chance to setup your own armies of different factions to face off against each other. Maybe even be able to plan in reinforcements after a time limit or once a defeat threshold was met. Maybe let you pick a side at the start or go in as a wildcard able to attack both sides even.


    Just a thought.

  6. I am wondering if the devs ever plan to spruce up the hero base any in Sirens Call.

    The defenses hero side are laughable at best when compared to the villain base. It doesnt even go along with the story for the zone. The villains are a raiding force attacking a breach in the shield wall and they somehow have a better fortified base than the heroes have who have had the time to install some defense to stop the invasion? Please...

    Lets get some of the turrets and anti-personel guns around the blue side base like the red side has. Maybe a different layout as well instead of a walled trough of TP foe doom from all sides. Even the number of patrol spawns are grossly out of whack between the two.

    Major LOL! The same attack on the blaster with no armor had a hold of only a few seconds. That is precious that the tanker got held longer. Did you actually time it or is that an estimate? I timed my experiences with a stop watch.

    Been getting held quite a bit from the Blue side heavies on my stalker of late. The hold is lasting about 15 seconds on my Spines / WP stalker. This is a bit rediculous given that we are all nerfed now versus holds. This certainly gives the Blue side one heck of an advantage. The Red side heavies have no such advantage.

    Me and a friend did some experimenting, the Red side heavy has no hold of this magnitude. Out test was against a blaster with an all SO build and no armor or acrobatics.

    We did a quick test of the heavies as well. We dueled each type a few times to see which side had a more powerful heavy versus the other. The Blue side heavy won every match out of 5. We started the heavies roughly thirty feet apart. We are going to retry this test with each heavy starting at point blnk range but suspect the same result do to the Blue side heavies KB.

    Heavies are part of the zone and I enjoy using them as much as any other player. I would certainly like to see them equal for each side. The long hold is too great an advantage Blue side. Can we get a similar hold on the Red side heavies? Can we equalize the two a bit more maybe?
  10. I was truly surprised with the results of this poll so far. I have been a long time player of the game and a consumate PVPer. I have found it difficult to afford the creation of the new Invention enhancements and have decided to simply sell everything instead of fumbling about any further. I have no way of knowing what the result of my invention will be until I have created it and can hover it over my enhancement slots to see the results. Uh, too late then fellas. I already had to shoot the wad as it were and cant get it back if the benefit is not great enough to warrant simply slotting a DO or SO. I am going to try again now that I have leveled my current toons far enough along now to have enough money for some experimentation. Thank godness for free respecs so I can recoup some of the cost of my failures. But since the interface does not allow me to make any comparisons so I can make intelligent choices, I expect more failure. I have noticed that there have been a few super players I have encountered in the PVP zones. I have had indvidual discussions with many of them and have found that they are heavily slotted with Inventions. There were of course able to do this by transfering funds from other characters or purchasing influence/infamy from outside sources. So now the game balance is broken for those who do not have large amounts of resources to slot all Invention types enhancements. Huh? Didn't my toon get nerfed a few times already to solve for balance issues? It will just be a matter of time before we see more super players in the game and the power player issue will once again rear its ugly head. This forces me to somehow get more cash to my favorite PVP characters so that I can stay competitive with those that are wealthy. Great!
