kidnap super group X's tailor
[/ QUOTE ]
I like the idea of a tailer for a base... and a loyalty card would be great... but I would be so scared of someone kidnapping my tailor I'm not sure i'd want one, I'd have to stay logged in all the time...
Anyway, what would happen once you'd kidnapped a tailor... would he then make substandard clothes for the SG he's been kidnapped by, you know with bad clipping and shirts showing through jackets... oh hold on... -
mebbe you haven't been looking hard enough? Mebbe he's hiding behind you...

how many speed boosts can be stacked on one player before there is no effect from further stacking?
-

Kinetics are now just as important as AM's in the holding phase. Ideally I would like to rearrange the teams for the holding phase so that you get 2-3 Speed boosts per team. Have to see how it works out though.
[/ QUOTE ]
cool... never really saw kinetics as useful for Hamidon raids before ED...
any ideas on how best to slot speed boost, mine is still slotted for pre-ED? Maybe I should ask that on the defenders thread... -
I always thought when playing my empath on a large team with another empath that some of my buffs were best suited to the other empath... but maybe that's me...
adrenalin boost - was a godsend to other empaths in tough missions (and before vigilance) (or to any healing related controller)
clearmind - a must give buff to other empaths
RA and Fortitude were for the fighters -
I have to admit I've never noticed it missing before... the slow is pretty pointless though
I think I currently have mine slotted for end redux and taunt - I used to have it slotted for damamge as well but never really noticed any difference to the tick (maybe 1 or 2 extra which was hardly worth it especially when the taunt enhances in there seem to keep bad guys on me a lot more...)
Since I've never really played a character with an aura that requires accuracy in it I'm just really wondering how I'll need to slot it to keep it effective. Will 1 ACC really be enough... ? -
I have to ask...
What do other Stone tanks think of this upcoming change that is on test at the moment:
[ QUOTE ]
Mud Pots and Hot Feet Damage is no longer Auto-Hit. The damage portion of these powers now require To-Hit checks, while the Debuff portion remains Auto-Hit. These powers both allow Accuracy Enhancements to be slotted now. However, the text on these powers still indicates that they auto-hit. This is incorrect and will be corrected in a future update.
[/ QUOTE ]
Was it to be expected? Are you annoyed? Unphased?
Just wondering...
Personally I liked the fact it was autohit. There are times I stand about with precious little to do (as I'm waiting on powers to recharge) and mudpots are pretty much the only thing that keeps the taunt on me...
How many slots will I need to put accuracy's in to get the same effect I get now? Will 2 Taunt, 2 Accuracy and 2 End Redux do the job?
Thoughts? -

Finally a chance to speed boost lots of people and not get any complaints \o/
[/ QUOTE ]
People complain when you speed boost them!?
[/ QUOTE ]
I have a really good feel for how the in game physics affect my character, for instance i can cut fly at about 50feet or so and land exactly where i want, what happens when i get a speed boost is my feel for my toon goes out the window. That's why i tend to politely point out to the booster that i'd prefer not to be boosted and tbh i dont see what the benefit is of it at all.
[/ QUOTE ]
+recharge, +end recharge, +runspeed
lovely benefit if you can get over the extra runspeed issue...
most of the complaints have to do with slow computers and blue caves -
I'll be there... with my Empath for the clearing phase (if only my stone tank could fly while in granite...) and then can bring my kinetics to speed boost all the controllers
Finally a chance to speed boost lots of people and not get any complaints \o/

yay! thanks all
Couldn't have done it without you
Especially EG who convinced me not to delete Psydeways -
hold on... it sounds exactly like something Pyra would do... chuffed then disheartened all in the space of one thread!
-
damn, no one is commenting on the uber cute badger I made?

Even after ED/I6 I don't think you *need* TP... though I do have it, I just don't use it all the time and surround myself with kinetic defenders and/or controllers
Even if I wasn't playing with lots of kinetics I don't think I would use it all the time as I don't run around with Granite and Rooted on very often, just Granite, and with my three slot swift I can get around quick enough.... -

I find my 2ndary powers very useless for me, so I guess its same for every empath out there.
[/ QUOTE ]
I've never found my secondaries useless ... before or after ED... infact I love my secondaries almost as much as I love my primaries.
I find them useful and effective in lots of situations (though mostly the ones that require me to throw stuff at bad guys...) -

CoV has new content so it's much more fun.
[/ QUOTE ]
but fun is so subjective
I still find COH lots of fun -
Yup, I've noticed an influx of new players at the low levels as well...
It's all good... can only get better -
that the heroes are returning?
After a few weeks of Defiant seeming really really quiet had big fun teams all weekend.
Hopefully things will start picking up from here on in -
interesting idea... but I have to ask why no scrapper?
I'm sure the supposed ideal team is a pentad with 1 of each AT? -

maybe its just the shadow shards then... really felt i wasnt contributing to the team at all.
[/ QUOTE ]
FWIW, I've always found having an Empath invaluable when engaged in Shadow Shard missions, TFs or standalones. Far be it for a non-Empath to remind you, but you're not just healing-bots.
[/ QUOTE ]
my prob with the shadow shards tho is that as an empath (or actually any player without status protection) you really need another player with clearmind/increase density etc otherwise you just feel like a waste of space in there. Sure you can carry breakfrees but they run out! -
to be honest, I took my empath to the shadowshards a few times but just died so much before ED that I just never went back. With no protection from Mez/sleep etc effects she just can't handle it (neither can my kinetics defender.. why I thought she would fare any better...)
-
hmm, well apologies... but... I've taken Psygon out several times since ED, still used Absorb as often as I did before (which is a lot) and not died through using it - but then I haven't taken Psygon to Firebase on one of those TFs...

On a large team (not all corruptors) you tend to spend most of your time cycling through looking for the mobs on low health. One blast = scourge = defeated.
[/ QUOTE ]
I think that's what makes Fire seem so impressive - the AOE attacks are great for scourge towards the end of a fight.
I tend to spend the first half of a battle buffing and minimal healing and then swap over to aggro grabbing AOEs for Scourge at the end. It really makes me feel quite godly when I see all the bad guys falling over and dying
