  1. What I would really love to see is a handblaster glove option (something like Black Scorpion has). It the last missing part for a perfect power armor.
  2. Did anyone hear anything about when the other 5 incarnate slots will be unlocked? We have not had any new slots in almost a year.

    For me, it's Black Scorpion. He is truly unique and I love the hand blaster (which would be really cool to have in the costume creator).
  4. Why do people have such issue with the game difficulty? I find it fine as it is. When I get to the point where I can plow through waves of enemies solo, that's when I am actually having fun and feel powerful. I already find it strange that enemies have more health than we do (for the most part) and do more damage with a brawl than I can ever dish out with a fireball. Raising the health cap would not be something I would enjoy personally.
  5. I do like the cross-over idea. I'm sure we will never be able to change our primary and secondary, but hybrid could be a slot that allows you to channel powers from a completely different Archetype for a given period of time.

    Agreed! Even though the existing incarnate powers are great, I still don't feel all that godly. Fact remains that my dominator still can get 1 or 2 shot by Statesman... Somehow, I don't feel like I have his level of power. This is why I think we need a godmode. :P
  7. Since we have 5 slots left (as far as we can tell), here is what I would love to see:

    - A strong and flashy melee power.
    - A mass crowd control power (hold, sleep, stun, fear, immobilize, confusion, etc.).
    - A strong single target range attack or small PBAoE attack (Marauder's nova fist).
    - A slot that greatly improves health and endurance.
    - Finally (probably will never happen): A toggle godmode power (Fortitude + Unstoppable + range, but immobilizes you) with a very long recharge.

    E.g. A branch of this slot could make vines grow all around your body (hence the immobilization) and create carrion creepers to attack nearby targets. You could still attack if the targets were in melee range (creepers attacking with "fling thorns" would have a taunting aura) and all of your ranged damage would have a bonus to their range.

    Even though I know it is just a fantasy, I am certain it could easily be implemented in the game. The immobilization and long recharge would force the player to use it wisely and only under certain circumstances.

    Yes, I am already softcapped. A bit more resistance would have been nice, but definitely not necessary. I decided to get rid of the power completely. As you guys said, the usefulness of this power is lacking.
  9. Perhaps it is just a bug in the description. You are right, global recharge does not seem to affect the power.
  10. It's like mindlink. You may not put recharge IOs in it, but sets that have recharge components will apply (e.g. Res/Rech). I tested it, and with only 1 Res/Rech, I'm down to 4.5 minutes.
  11. I do not know if there is already a thread about this (if there is I could not find it), but I was wondering if someone tested a perma One With the Shield build on either a brute, tanker, or scrapper. If yes, is it worth it? Do you still get that annoying crash after 2 minutes?

  12. As far as I know, no information has been released regarding the remaining slots. We don't know what they will do or when they will be available. Not even a leak or anything.
  13. I agree with the fact that the animation is WAAAAY too slow. If you push to 50 however, a rare reactive makes your AoEs very powerful since they are all multiple tick powers.

    I respectfully dissagree with this statement. I brought my MA/Energy/fire to the incarnate trials, and had a hard time slotting since I was getting nothing but rares and very rares. My fireball hits a lot harder than any regular blaster's when I am hidden, and I never felt like I was contributing less than other players to the trials.

    I know all of this is left to personal opinions, but the fact that I can control my criticals makes me feel more versatile than a scrapper. The lower hit points do not bother me since most enemies are not even able to touch me. The fact that I get very little aggro also seems to please the tanks.
  15. So, just for fun, what do you think the next incarnate slots will bring to the table? If I recall correctly, I think they were suppose to touch the various archetypes in the game. If that is correct, it means Matermind is out (Lore), as well as Corrupter/Defender (Destiny), and Blaster (Judgement). What are your thoughts? Here is mine:

    Hybrid: A self boost, invulnerability+fortitute type power.
    Genesis: A powerful single target attack (melee?)
    Mind: A strong AoE hold.
    Vitae: An increase in health/endurance.
    Omega: Able to equip any power from the first 9 slots.

    One thing that works really well for BAF is Mass Hypnosis. Even though most people love undoing my sleeps with their 38 damage fire balls, the "busy part of that section" (when people leave doors chasing things around) proved to be most rewarding! When you have enough foes asleep they simply stop spawning at that specific location.
  17. So does this mean that we will have to wait for another issue so see actual new powers? The alpha slot seems to be about advanced enhancements only.
