Hello.
My name is Prof. Entropy. I am mostly a wild scrapper with a few feral tendencies.
Thank you.
Scrapperlock!!! I love it! I got it!! Sometimes I get it with my squishy alts...not a pretty sight.

Prof. Entropy---Lvl 33 DM/DA Scrapper on Justice
So many alts..........So many enemies........ -
Well, let's see....
Prof. Entropy (DM/DA Scrapper) is a professor of Archeology and Ancient History at Paragon City University. His powers come from the large red jewel in his belt, which is one of the mythical Jewels of the Watchers.
Doctor Sol (Fire/Fire Blaster) is a mission specialist from NASA. His powers were the result of an accident on the shuttle Endeavor involving a solar flare.
Lyghtspeed (Ele/Ele Blaster) is independently wealthy and therefore does not work. He is actually the second person in his family to hold the name Lyghtspeed, the first being his grandfather. Both of them received their powers from another of the Jewels of the Watchers.
Ven-Detta (Emp/Dark Defender) was an early part of Crey Industries' Revenant Project. Deemed a failure due to non-compliance with regulations, he was transferred to a different building and scheduled for disposal, but escaped during the transfer. He currently has no job, only the income supplied by the hero stipend.
CrimsonHawk (NRG/NRG Blaster) is a legal assistant working for some shuyster lawyer (you all know who I'm talking about).
Cayyne (Kin/Rad Defender) is a college student studying Archeology under Prof. Entropy. She is also CrimsonHawk's sister.
I have so many others to work on......
The E-Ternal
Cobalt Moon
Pineal Eye
Ebony Spider
Brother Torch
The Plains-Man
Mr. Psych
Blyzzyrd
Thool
The Postal Clerk
Dragonpit
The Sculpture
Kid Thunder
Cosmosys
Tri-Sulfate
Hellhole
Silent Dancer
Captain Titan
Victor Vector
Composite Y
and on and on and on........ -
Prof. Entropy returned to his normal form next to the other heroes.
"You people continue on. I'll work on things from another end."
With that, Prof. Entropy launched into the air, and flew off to the north.
--------------
((You may see him later.)) -
Prof. Entropy saw the grenade land at the creature's feet and explode. As the smoke drifted, he took advantage of it, running into the smoke and blending his black fog with it. He noted the penguin looking hero entering the cloud at the same time, and worked his way toward the monstrosity. It was trying to find its' way out of the smoke, but Prof. Entropy caught up to it. He threw a flurry of punches at the creature, the dark energy from his fists blending in quickly with the surrounding smoke. The creature turned and blindly swiped at the apparent source of the attack, and connected. The blow knocked Entropy out of the smoke cloud, and sprawled him on the ground several feet away.
Still in his fog form, Prof. Entropy stood himself up, and concentrated. Suddenly the thin black fog which made up his form thickened to the point where his glowing eyes were barely visible, and he ran into the cloud of smoke again.
((OOC=Out of Character, btw.)) -
"Anyone see what caused that?"
"No."
Fox turned to see a thin, black fog with two glowing red eyes approach him. As this figure drew nearer to Fox, the fog dissipated, and a man in a black and red costume materialized, the glowing eyes slightly concealed under a black hood and face mask. The breeze caused Professor Entropy's cape to billow behind him. "The explosion was caused by something inside. I saw a few heroes enter that building a little earlier. Wasn't that a restaraunt?"

((OOC: My first attempt. Be kind.Just passing by.))

Well, let's see....
Prof. Entropy is a Prof. of Ancient History and Archeology at Paragon City University.
Doctor Sol is actually employed by NASA as a mission specialist, and up until recently was assisting Crey Industries with research.
Lyghtspeed is independently wealthy. Having inherited his costume and the source of his powers from his grandfather, he's spending most of his time fighting crime either in Paragon City or his native Chicago.
The Sneak is a homeless person hanging around in King's Row....
I've got so many alts, I haven't had time to figure most of them out yet... -
Hello Statesman,
Most of the posts on this thread are saying the same things I would say. The increases to the generic bosses are just too much. And the suggestions many others have put forward are very good alternatives.
If your intention was to boost the named bosses, that I could understand. Maybe turn them into more Elite Bosses, with the appropriate boost in stats. But the generic bosses in missions and on the streets, I feel, should remain at the same level as pre-Issue 3.
Just really wanted to throw my voice in with the many others who didn't like this change.
Prof. Entropy---Lvl 29 DM/DA Scrapper on Justice. -
Hi Geko!
I've noticed this as well. When I click on hover right next to the ground, I'm barely crawling at lvl 29. I know I moved faster than that with hover at level 6, or even at level 12.
Have a nice day. -

Well I say lets blame scrappers who boasted for months how they kick around bosses for breakfast and solo Avs easily
All their fault.

I never, never, never said that!!! -
English not your first language?
Not your second either, huh?
jk..... -
I just want to say one thing to all the people who are complaining about all the nerfs and power changes and changes to bosses, archvillians, et. al.
You have only to thank all the whiners who continually complained that the "game is too easy" or "<insert powerset here> is overpowered. My toon doesn't do one tenth (slight exaggeration) the damage that toon does!!!"
Maybe instead of complaining about the game or someone elses abilities, the whiners should be proud of their characters' abilities, and work to improve them, or delete them and rebuild.
I just don't think I ever read Batman or even Green Arrow complaining that they don't have heat vision.
Ok, I'm done now. On with the complaining.......... -

I do agree that the increase in mob hit points isn't necessarily a good thing. However I think that the real problem here is the total fallacy that support archetypes are "weak". I can pretty much guarantee you that blasters, the most-maligned of the two "damage" ATs, have experienced several times more debt than any controller, defender, or tanker that has a decent grasp of how to use their powers effectively. I really don't see the problem with alpha strikes, either, to be honest. Yes, they do massive amounts of damage.. but in a sense, they need to do that. If a blaster alpha strikes a pack of mobs even two of them live through that, the blaster is dead. The assault rifle's 9th primary power is Full Auto. It deals out massive damage over time . When they activate that power, they have to stand there for several seconds. If a few mobs get close enough during that time.. again, dead blaster.
The other large issue here is this: People need to spend less time worrying about what other peoples' heros can do. If you play an archetype and enjoy playing that archetype, all good. I don't care if a blaster can stealth his/her way into the middle of a dozen +10 bosses and alpha strike them into dust! If they can do that and are happy to be able to play that way, it's none of my concern. If the abilities of another archetype are somehow ruining your enjoyment of the game, that is your problem, not theirs. Concentrate on your character and your gameplay, and you'll enjoy it a lot more.

Quoting the entire previous post, because, this just NEEDS to be emphasised that much!!!!! -
I'm sorry. I thought mob HP were fine. Did I miss something?
Why even make things more difficult for tankers, controllers, and defenders? My controllers and defenders have a hard time soloing as it is. Why increase the HP at all? -

There is no need to nerf scrapper damg resist. We only get the same damg resist as tankers if we SLOT THE HELL out of the powers like RPD/TI/Tough so that we do get it. Which means we have to neglect other stuff for it. It's a give and take. We sacrifice needed slots for more damg resist. Theres no need to nerf Scrappers.
Besides. Scrappers really don't start to get UBER until the veryyy late game. I'd say about 41+ is when there uberness really becomes apparant. By that time you're so close to end game it really doesn't matter.

Quoted for emphasis!!!!!!!! No Nerfing please!!!! -
