If that's her criteria, Becky is going to be single a LONG LONG time.

Let's hook up Becky and Serge and see what happens. -
Always remember that this is a multiplayer game. If something doesn't give the entire team something to do, it's gonna be a waste of time.
If they introduce puzzles, payers will routinely use guides to solve them without even bothering to notice how they work. It may turn out that the players don't like minigames. Those things may work in single-player games, but this game is a MMORPG. Things are different. -

necromancy, has coulor options. martial arts, and super strength have animation options. genin and bruisers have those two meele powers.
now out of those 3 mm powersets that could have power customization, why is it only necromancy? can anyone (best be it redname : D that answers this) tell me why these two powersets dont have that?
[/ QUOTE ]
They weren't talking about the Henchmen having customizable actions or power colors, they were talking about the blasts.
Necromancy is the only set with blasts that don't come from a weapon, and you'll notice that no weapon sets were listed. Because those sets already have Weapon Customization.
[/ QUOTE ]
yeah but im not talking about the blasts, im talking about the henchmens powers. now, the only reason that i can come up with is that they are critters and thus cant have that. But the henchmen use the same costume options in the costume creator.

You're not a programmer. The programmers have their own reasons. -

I think the only AT that would have serious competition issues would be the defender.
They need to get either stronger buffs that would be stronger than those of the other ATs in a meaningful way, or a dual purpose vigilance that boosts offense if the team's HP is high as well as boosting endurance if the team needs support.
[/ QUOTE ]
They already have stronger buffs than anyone else in the game. Every number counts.
Really, there shouldn't be that many issues with crossing over. I bet they'll even merge the markets (though don't quote me on that one). Both sides of the game use all the same Enhancements, Salvage, costume pieces, and whatever, I really don't see any issues. -
IO=Invention Origins. They're the new kind of Enhancements that were introduced as the central focus of the Invention system, basically crafting. Generally they're better than SOs (though not by that much).
They can't be outlevelled and don't discriminate by origin, but to make them you must have the appropriate Recipe (a new kind of drop) and Invention Salvage (another semi-new kind of drop), and combine them at an Invention Table (found in any University, the Vanguard base and can be placed in Bases).
There are two kinds of IOs: 'Generic' IOs, which are the easiest to get, and 'Set' IOs, which as the name suggests come in sets of 3 to 6 that, if all slotted into the same power, will provide little bonuses (that add up).
Note that [u]the game was not made harder to balance for Inventions[u]. The entire system is completely optional, and you can still play perfectly well with SOs and a good build. However, it's really not that hard to get into once you get the hang of the basics.
Soft Cap: The point at which a large amount of Defense is about as good as it possibly can be, where you'll only get hit 5% of the time. It is 45% Defense, and each category (either melee/ranged/AoE for 'positional' defense, or Smashing/Lethal/Fire etc for 'typed' defense) must be capped separately to get all-round defense. -

Hahaha. That's brilliant! I'm usually too busy spamming buttons (and occasionally lagging) to remember to do stuff like that, but now I'm gonna have to try and pay more attention...
[/ QUOTE ]
Well, having one proper attack meant I didn't really have much to worry about. -
[ QUOTE ]
P.S. Sometimes all I want to do is level up at Ms Liberty or some other practical thing and with an invasion on, forget it. I have to just quit the game and go do something else instead. That's frustrating.
[/ QUOTE ]
I didn't let that stop me. -
I'd just taken my brand new Peacebringer out of his first mission, and was caught in a Rikti invasion in Atlas. So I assembled a full team and gathered 'round Ms Liberty and after some tense minutes of waiting we were soon in the middle of a swirling melee.
In the middle of battle I levelled up, and since I was standing right next to Ms Liberty I decided to train right then and there in the middle of the battle, and immediately started using my new attack against the invaders.
I love this game. -

I prefer the small, fairly frequent free updates with a fat paid expansion in the pipeline over infrequent but more substantial free updates with nothing else happening.
[/ QUOTE ]
I absolutely agree.
[/ QUOTE ]
Me too.
For example, I wouldn't mind a space or undersea expansion in late 2010.
[/ QUOTE ]
A space expansion in 2010 doesn't strike you as remotely ominous?

It would be sooo cool!
We would go around Jupiter to poke in old computers, visit Europa's seas under the ice.
And at the end of the last TF, BOOM! LIGHT!

And then the Blue side, then the Red side again, then the Blue, then the Red but only faking as he was still Blue then really going Red in the end after the Redder guy made his not-quite-as-Red status safe again, depending on the writer that day.
