So, this was an issue pre-I21, but I21 and the proliferation of claimables in my mailbox makes this a much bigger deal. Now all my vet rewards are in there, and claiming them is a giant pain with this bug.
When someone does a claim all, please have it SKIP an unclaimable reward and keep going down the list, rather than failing 5 times and then stopping. Or have it simply know and skip 50-only items on non-50s.
Thanks! -
It basically modifies the IO so it acts like it is +level as much as you boost it, but it is not. For example, a L50 damage IO boosted x5 is a 50+5 that does +53% damage.

Followup for the curious: Support was able to unlock my limit so I could buy more points on my other account. (Dear ncsoft: please let me shovel money at you!)
I still think it's *bizarre* that it can show a limit of $400 in game but not actually let you spend it, fwiw.
Edit: 10 minutes later, Chase calls to verify the charges. Hahaha. -
Are you sure you don't have two mission transporter powers? I thought I checked it on Beta, and that I had TWO mission transporter powers: one was a short-cooldown 5x use one, the other was a no-limit 2-hour-cd one.
Quote:That looks like pretty close to the original free aura list. You're saying VIPs who have unlocked auras have to pay for that? (I can imagine that if you're checking from a L1 alt it might appear to be locked, and you can unlock individual auras at L1 across your account by paying points.)- The following pre-I21 auras that were available for free at one time must now be bought back (two of which I already have on pre-I21 characters): Electricity, Fireflies, Flies, Gaseous, Glow, Glowing Aura, Rocky Crumble, Smoky, Smoldering, Snow, Sparkles, Starburst Glow, Tendrils, Vaporous -
So, I have a ticket open for this. I have 2 accounts with the same credit card attached.
Both of them are set to an in-game limit of $400.
I bought $200 of points on one account. When I went to do the same on the other account, I got an error about being over a limit. I tried swapping the 2nd account to a different credit card (which I'd prefer not to, since I like getting the airline miles on the first card), and it still wouldn't let me buy them. So that 2nd account is saying: limit $400, purchased: $0, and is still telling me I've hit the limit on "serial codes" I can buy. (The text saying "serial code" or "game code" for a points purchase could probably be considered a bug itself; would confuse a new user who had never used a serial code.) -
The scrollbar bug was just acknowledged on Ustream; they know and they're working on it.
-
Servers are "locked" but up, and this has revealed what appears to be a bug:
I can't scroll down the list of servers. (There are 2 at the bottom that don't fit in the list)
When I scroll down, as soon as I release the mouse it pops back up, making (on my screen) Justice and Exalted unclickable. -
@cake - I'd try to get another slot into each claw attack, and then I'd plan to add to dark regen which you get at 16. It's super powerful but painfully expensive end-wise.
-
Round 2.
Within a purple of capping, nearly capped S/L without a purple if they get hit by Cloak of Fear. Fairly beefy recharge (almost permahasten if you wanted spiritual). If it turns out to be too expensive endurance-wise, the slots in OG can be sacrificed for endred elsewhere.
Now has an achilles proc, etc. Anyhow, I think I may actually start going with this. (Note: intend to abuse enh boosters here, quite likely, to eke out a few % here and there)

I wandered into this thread wondering: what's the best claws/da brute money can buy? I wanted to be able to tank, dps, aoe, and solo AVs, if possible.
This was my first stab. I'd like to work some more achilles into it, but it has more net recovery, more recharge, and with some boosters (hello, I21) could soft cap when combining the defense + the cloak debuff. I really want OG, too. /greedy.

Quote:If they did that, then they'd probably have to start maintenance late at night rather than early in the morning. That would mean if anything went wrong, you'd be trying to fix it with people who'd been up 36 hours. That raises the risks of being down for more than a day.I guess it was too much to hope that you'd start an extended publish maintenance earlier so it would be done at roughly the same time as typical maintenance.
As it is, 4 am is ludicrously early, and someone deserves some cookies. (And a lot of Starbucks on paragon's dime, of course.) -

Quote:Eh, I asked. And I asked for inspiration. 350B is at least enough to make me want to do something to amp it up.Public declarations of wealth are a crass affection of the nouveau riche.
Edit: tbph, I used to *dream* about something like /ah to speed up what I was doing, so I should take advantage now, methinks. -

Just curious - who's had the most influence at once?
Counting liquid cash, bids, and items for sale at near base value. (ie, if you listed a LotG for 2B, then counting that at lowish market value, not 2B)
Slotted/in use items don't count.
I'm just curious to get some perspective. I had several characters slotted in full purples within an issue of purples coming out, and used to be "extremely rich" back when purples were 100-150m a lot of the time, and I had something like 2-2.5b.
Since returning to the game a bit more, I've been fooling around, especially since /ah became possible, on a couple toons, and have been amazed at how easy it is to rack up 10B+ again.
I saw TopDoc mentioned he had 55B after spending a bunch. What's the most anyone has had (will admit to having had?) on hand? -
I asked a similar question a while ago, because I had a Crushing Impact listed for 3.1m and the last 5 was 10m, 10m, 5m, 5m, 5m. I found it hard to believe that a bunch of people were not even TRYING any number between 3m and 10m... but that's what was happening.

How does this work? Given that I'm working from home and generally don't touch my beefy gaming box while working, seems like I could do this.

Looks totally computer generated to me.

So, I tried today to queue up via the lfg tool. I see "<1 minute" and "1 minute" for the trials.
After 10+ minutes, I'm still waiting. Someone broadcasts they have a spot. I whisper them, and drop my lfg (since they can't invite me while I'm in the queue). Too late, they're full. I requeue. Over 10 minutes more....
Point being: make the tool work. If it's pre-made teams are taking <1 minute and people who just queue are taking 30, I want to see "30" when I open the tool, not "<1".
