Crafted lvl 51 IO can possibly steal money ?

Sorry don't recall the name of the item that is suppose to increase your crafted IO beyond normal levels. Paragon market item.

But my point simply is If I can can craft a lvl 51 accuracy and then sell it on the market. Which up until now never existed. I could in theory possibly steal someones money that parked some funds on an IO that never existed for many years up until now.

Again I'm a bit naive to some market stuff but I have read in the past that people park money on those lvl 51 to 53 IOs because of the cap.

Or am I off on this one ? If not some players could become pretty poor overnight

Are you worried about the ethics of such a transaction?
If so then don't, inherrent in the risk of 'playing' the market... and parking funds on items like that is 'playing'.. is the risk of absolute loss. Besides, most ebil's wouldnt even notice a few missing million.

I say try and see!

I dont think IOs are transferrable/sellable after using the IO Booster.

I don't suffer from altitis, I enjoy every minute of it.

Thank you Devs & Community people for a great game.

So sad to be ending ):

Last time I checked on beta (which admittedly was a month ago or so), IO boosters made an IO "+", not higher level ; and indeed it makes sense, as you would not be able to slot a level 54 IO or above.

Having a lot of money stored on the market, I investigated this during beta. As Nihilii says, the level bump is "virtual". It does not actually change into a level 51 crafted item.

Also, short circuiting the entire question you cannot sell an enhancer once it has been boosted.

So it looks like inf stored in market transactions for level 51+ IOs is safe from boosted IOs.

So it works like our 50 +3 levels from Incarnate stuff? Also, I assume then it doesn't effect Exemplaring down? So a level 30+1 enh would still work at 25?

Wouldn't that be level 27?

I believe IOs work three levels down you keep powers 5 levels down.

I can be found, outside of paragon city here.
Thank you everyone at Paragon and on Virtue. When the lights go out in November, you'll find me on Razor Bunny.

It basically modifies the IO so it acts like it is +level as much as you boost it, but it is not. For example, a L50 damage IO boosted x5 is a 50+5 that does +53% damage.
