Pistol didn't pay much attention to Borealis' point, instead she looked flatteringly into Romanov's eyes, who she'd sat next to. "Borealis, I have complete faith in Alex's plan, I think we should launch it across the globe."

Pistol smiled. "I like the way you think Romanov. You've been spearheading this project since the beginning of our coalition and everything is conveniently falling into place without Hero intervention. Obviously world domination really is best achieved by Political Manipulation. So, what am I saying? I'm saying we raise the game." The lady paused for her words to resound before continuing, her Sicilian-American accent adding ammunition to her sharp and deadly tone.

"Once we've concluded this meeting, we'll choose a host and another secure location to meet next month. What I propose we discuss is whether or not Political Manipulation is agreeable by all, and also if we aught to split the operation across the seven of us, so that each Lord echoes Romanov's strategies in seven other countries... major countries. Perhaps I'm being hasty, but wouldn't you all rather this happened a little faster?"

Alicia, who had been silently observing the progress thus far, raised her head to speak. "I already have some young people on the island as agent provocateur XV, they have begun their work, slowly planting the seeds of doubt, hatred and generally evoking evil among the peoples. I can't see the need for an android, just yet."

Forum-played battles are awesome. These are the rules I'd use. The last one is purposely down to preferences. I usually arrange an actual fight in-game to determine the victor, or even record the fight and translate it to written fiction. But its also fun to just forum roleplay it all on the spot. Pious vs. Zero already happened in-game anyway, albeit out of character.

After reading the document and hearing what Alex Romanov had to say, Alicia Barzini had only one concern. "A sound plan Romanov, nothing short of whatI'd have expected. This island is perfect to experimet with, we know there are already political unrest so wouldn't Hatesmen's violence simply draw attention to him? And what do you hope to achieve by an army of gunmen killing the populace? I have to ask, no matter how much I'd enjoy causing havoc.

Alicia blushed at the sentiment, gladly receiving the bottle of wine. As the gentleman spoke, Alicia prolonged eye-contact to enjoy his attention. "It’s lovely Alex, thank you" she replied almost breathlessly, noting the arrival of the Countess. "You know, I am intrigued to hear what you have to say Alex, you should stay after the meeting..." Slowly, Alicia unclipped a button by her neck and the trenchcoat fell apart, revealing a smooth curve of cleavage. "...unless of course you're too busy planning a solo conquest"

Conquering from the Shadows

Sunday January 27th, 5:53pm. A small conference room at the Sisarose Mansion. Again, the table is decorated with food, covered under stainless steel platers. Drinks and beverage are positioned near expensive silverware.

Alicia Barzini was dressed the same as the previous meeting, in a smart, black polyester trenchcoat with a high collar, hair neatly packed into a bun at the back of the head. She sat, giving silent orders to the footmen and waiting for more company.

((I'm guessing you're new to RP Nereus, you made a few common mistakes on Friday. Nevertheless, you have a shiny thugs mastermind which means if you wanted, you can play with the Gang and Pistol also. Maybe even get involved with the LORDs community plots as and when it strikes. I'm very busy this week but maybe later, we can do something with Mr Taipan and Dark Pistol. Your above story, although an interesting read, has broken a lot of common rules of polite RP. We can talk about that later if you want, via private messages or MSN is most likely. For now, I will assume what you have written never actually occurred, for the simple fact that you misused my character, and without prior notification. The story even has me slightly confused.))

With an inwardly swelling excitement the Dark Pistol uttered just one word, "excellent".

"Hatesman wants the weak removed" she began. "The Countess wants to herd humans... Lord Erebus wants MAGI... XV wants Paragon City and its Lighthouses of Hope, completely wiped out... Lord Borealis wants to further the course of science... Romanov wants to rule the world... Fu** it, I just wanna kill a few billion people."

"Clearly, our goals aren't totally at odds. In fact, I like Romanov's idea. We form a number of strategies to win this game, then practice them on a few small countries. If it all goes well and nothing is traced back to us, we'll take the best plans global, maybe even universal, then dimensional. We don't ever really have to stop.

"Under Romanov's rule, the Countess can have endless resources of fresh blood! Lord Erebus, you would not only command the sewers but possess the greatest knowledge of magic! Lord Borealis, you would have freedom to practice all manners of experiments, and science would have you to thank! Hatesman, you would have liberated the world from the chains of political oppression, the humans deserving and strong enough to survive would roam free and wild across the planet! XV, you would at last have the manpower of this Alliance, to bring down Paragon City. And I will also be free to ruin lives, make the people of this evil world to feel the pain that I felt, I will make them see death as I did and let them know that only in the afterlife can total salvation be found. If we all agree to Romanov's plan, put it to words now and we can begin on Sunday 20th."

Alicia Barzini had sat completely still, analyzing the speech and reactions of the world's most wanted. She took a moment to enjoy the scene, how glorious it was that with just a simple and polite invitation, six mighty individuals could come together and discuss an alliance, one that would no doubt make history, and possibly change the world. Silently, she waited for the last two to share their own opinion.

"An excellent question Adam" said Pistol, her Sicilian accent showing through the monotone voice. "I believe we aught to handle our operations one project at a time. Communicate on a daily basis through secure video networks, something I'm sure one of us can provide. We should meet together in person, once a month and keep our affiliations totally... totally... totally, secret. As for a plan, well to be honest I am currently bored to the bone and I ask your help for entertainment. In fact, this brings me to an interesting question, because to work together successfully we must bond, not just in cause, but in personality. Tell me, ladies and gentlemen, why you seek to terrorize, destroy, regenerate and then control the world? That is a vision we all share, no?"

"Thank you handsomely for coming" said Pistol, composed in her chair, fingers crossed. "You are, no doubt, probably curious as to what business I propose, so ladies and gentlemen, I shan’t waste your time. You are here because I need your help and equally, I offer you mine. All seven of us either share a common goal or our methods of operation could benefit one and another. What I propose we do, is something that I believe has never been done before, at least, not successfully. Ladies and gentlemen, imagine a combined force of all our ingenuity, our resources, helping one and another to achieve each of our goals. No-one would ever be able to stop us. Why? Because the media-hailed clowns, the so-called heroes do just that; they combine their strengths to weaken the efforts of you and I. Simply because we see the world differently, and our perspectives, our methods are frowned upon by the rest of civilisation; a civilisation that is built on evil and degenerating with darkness. Gentlemen, I propose that we form a real team, a league of righteous destroyers. L.O.R.D's over organized terror! Terror upon Paragon City, terror across the globe, until our goals are met."

Drinks and beverage of all kinds are positioned near the expensive looking forks, knives and plates decorated with traditional Italian silverware art.

Alicia Barzini was dressed completely in black, a smart polyester trenchcoat with a high collar, her hair neatly packed into a bun at the back of the head. She sat, giving silent orders to the footmen. She called over a balding man who by his appearance was probably the house butler.

"Are you certain the invitations reached everyone?" she asked him.

"Er, yes Ms Barzini. I'm quite sure" he replied, pulling out a plain white card signed, 'Alicia Barzini, the Dark Pistol'. It read;

Red Cell. It was a short-lived concept, but with plenty of ideas supporting it. One to remember, is that you can consistently introduce a new super-villain, crank up some tension yeah, but essentially make one up only to be eliminated. That way, you don't worry about who's beloved villain will be deleted next.

Speaking of Red Cell, they're actually all dead, aren't they? Wayne, Codename, Dragonfly, Xirogh... Redsight?

I agree with Ammon. As a tool, the wiki provides a section to list, and recruit for, current plots and events, but I think community plots are just, rare. Supergroup plot-runners stay within groups and friends do the same.

This thread is a nice idea, but it probably needs more thought. I would imagine that these characters listed above would need continuous updates on status quo and as has been mentioned already, people cannot actually update their posts on this forum, so it defeats the point. We will probably end up with a disorganised clutter of new posts and updates.

My suggestion to everybody, when looking for a plot, simply join one that is actually recruiting players. There is usually little, if any, community plots going on (save the amazing Supremacy plot), so why not run one yourself and recruit people. How do you recruit players to your plot? Simple; do what we always do and make a post about it on this forum or announce it on the wiki's Current Events section, or both. Just my opinion.
